Rachel Dale Photography

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,650
  • Serves Jacksonville, OR

Hi all! I’m Rachel and I’m just so excited that you came across my work. I’ve been a photographer for about 11 years and have loved every minute of it. Weddings are my passion and capturing love stories is one of my greatest joys. Some fun facts about me, I’m a mother of four and I’ve been married to my husband for about 15 years. We are a homeschooling family who has a slight obsession with cats. We love living in Southern Oregon and enjoy adventuring and living intentional lives with our kids and our Australian Shepherd. I’d love to hear about you and your story, please reach out to chat more!

From the minute we met Rachel (and her mom!), we knew we had picked the perfect wedding photographer! Since we were having a destination wedding, we didn't get to meet in person until our actual wedding day but we weren't nervous one bit. We chatted on the phone and connected so quickly that we knew we were in great hands and that we were going to love our photos. Just by looking through her portfolio and other work on Instagram, we knew the quality our photos was going to be spectacular! We had our wedding on Coronado Island in July of 2018 and over 2 years later, we STILL look at our wedding pictures and talk about how amazing of a job Rachel did! She captured so many precious memories and moments that we get to cherish forever. When my husband and I talked about what we wanted for our wedding, I always said "pretty pictures on the beach." Well, Rachel provided us with that and so much more! My husband and I have already discussed planning a future trip to Oregon to take more pictures with Rachel because she truly is THE BEST!

Your earth loving, sun chasing Oregon elopement photographer. My work is ever evolving but my intention is always the same: to capture the essence of who you are and create timeless photographs that will always take you back to your incredible day.

Working with Mioara is the easiest decision to make when planning a wedding, elopement, or any photo shoot! Her pictures capture a special light and airiness that is hard to come by. She is like a fly on the wall - you won't notice she's there, but she captures every special moment throughout the entire night. She is so easy to work with and so personable, that it makes the entire experience that much more fun! Mioara is always the first person that comes to mind when I think of the best photographers around. Her style is unique and breathtakingly beautiful! I recommend Mioara to anyone and everyone!

Love knows no bounds. Every person is deserving of love and deserving of having it captured perfectly. I believe in equality. I believe in living simply and loving deeply. I believe that dogs are the best travel buddies and that plants make the world better and prettier. I believe that perfectly planned photos are awesome, but so is the candid photo of your 90 year old grandmother drinking whiskey with your friends. Your photos are about you, not me. I won't tell you what to do or how to live your best day. What I will tell you is where the best light is, what to expect during your wedding and always get your "good side."

Awarded Best of Zola
Bethany Bloem Photography was the perfect choice for our vow renewal. From the very beginning, Bethany and her team were super attentive, helpful, and friendly - always quick to respond to our questions and provide guidance throughout the planning process. It was in Yosemite National Park, they expertly directed us into beautiful poses and made the most of the stunning location, capturing perfection in every shot. The final photos were absolutely awesome and worth every penny - we are thrilled with how they documented our special day. Bethany Bloem Photography is simply the best and we highly recommend them to any couple looking for an amazing wedding photography experience.

Mahdi was voted our best vendor at our wedding! By us and by friends that got to know him. From our first phone call I was like, man this guy is cool and relaxed. I'm also pretty relaxed but obviously this can change on your wedding day, so having a laid back photographer was perfect for me. He arrived a bit early to set up and we chatted a bit and he went straight to work and my bridal party loved him right away. I would recommend Mahdi to anyone looking someone to perfectly capture their day or even just capture the moment. You will not find a nicer, more professional, or fun person to help you to remember the most important day of your life.

Ayla Rae Weddings

5.0

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $8,000
  • Serves Jacksonville, OR

A POET WITH A CAMERA IN HER HAND: I’m Ayla — pronounced “eye-luh”, like “I love you” — and I never quite grew out of seeing things the way I did as a kid: heart first, bright eyed, curious about everything and particularly drawn to movement and pretty light. My travels, my writing (certified art school kid), and my big family have brought me from that inquisitive, emotional child to the woman I am today: knee deep in wonder & riverbeds, usually mid-laugh, and so full of gratitude for my life I can hardly contain it to language.

Awarded Best of Zola
There are simply just not enough words to describe how amazing and special it was to have Ayla as our photographer. We had a small, intimate wedding in Winter Park, Colorado and we truly could not have asked for a more thoughtful, talented, and kind person to capture our day. From the first time we spoke, Ayla has been so helpful and knowledgable, she helped guide us through the entire wedding process and helped make our planning experience truly stress-free. She took the time to scout ceremony locations for us, gave us a list of the most beautiful spots to check out during our trip (our guests couldn't stop talking about them), created timelines for us, gave us an extensive wedding guide that I looked at probably 100 times, and helped us with so much more. There was a storm that rolled in last minute on our wedding day and, morning-of, Ayla helped us replan our entire day to work out in the best way with the rain and it ended up being better than we could have ever imagined. Even with a super short notice that the wedding was moved up two hours, Ayla still found time to hunt down two clear umbrellas for us and picked up on the way to our location. She took immediate action and it felt like every concern was resolved before we could even begin to get stressed about them. We were able to focus on just enjoying the day and she really helped us embrace and find the excitement & beauty in a rainy wedding day. To this day, we still have our friends & family telling us how amazing Ayla was and how lucky we were to find her, and we couldn’t agree more. She made everyone feel so comfortable, both hanging with her and in front of the camera. She felt like a close friend celebrating with us more than a hired photographer. Most of our guests don’t like to be photographed, but because Ayla made everyone feel so natural, she was able to capture some really special & beautiful moments that we will cherish forever. All of our photos are a dream, she captured our day in such a special way and they’re better than we could have EVER imagined. Every tiny, intimate moment was caught so beautifully, looking at them makes us feel like we are right back in that moment. We are so so grateful and lucky that we found her, Ayla is such a special talent and was the very best addition to our big day, we can not recommend her enough!!

Spend your day having fun, not posing for photos. My approach is to focus on capturing what's really happening, so you can focus on making memories and I can deliver effortless, natural looking photos.

I can’t recommend Jess enough! From the moment we booked her, she made everything so easy and relaxed. On the day of the wedding, she was a total pro—super attentive and really took the time to understand the vibe we were going for. She gave us just the right amount of direction to make sure we looked our best, but also let us be ourselves and enjoy the day. The photos came out absolutely stunning—she perfectly captured the emotions and all the little details we wanted. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out. Hi there! I'm Hannah! I'm an adventurer at heart- I love backpacking and exploring central Oregon. I'm one of the rare people that is actually from Bend - but I started my photography career in New York City capturing events for Central Park. I met my husband, convinced him we were Oregonians at heart and moved back! How many moments were captured that you never even realized. That you cannot wait to frame them & put them on your walls!

We can’t say enough wonderful things about Hannah, not only does she take fantastic photos, but she is professional, knowledgeable, kind, fun, prepared, helpful, plus she works well with family and friends, dogs, kids, and all other vendors. She had sneak peaks turned around to us in about a week and all 1300 photos from our multi-day wedding back to us within a month. Real Connections. Raw Emotions. Candid Moments.

These are the values behind what we do. These three words are the heart and soul of our work and everything we do is based around adventure and authenticity. When you hire us, you are hiring photographers who truly care about the experience you will have on your day. We don’t mind getting a little dirty or wet. We don’t mind staying until after dark to get the perfect shot. We don’t mind the hikes, or the time in-between each event. We are truly there for you and to tell the story of your day exactly as it happens

We are absolutely thrilled with our decision to book Candance as our wedding photographer. Initially, we almost missed the chance to work with her, but after an unexpected cancellation with our previous photographer, we reached out to Candance. She graciously adjusted her schedule and was able to accommodate our engagement shoot within a week of our request. Working with Candance and her husband Corey was an absolute delight. Candance is incredibly sweet, professional, and brought a wealth of creative ideas for poses and backgrounds. Her calming presence was a blessing on our busy wedding day. The photos we’ve received so far are some of our all-time favorites. Candance was, without a doubt, the best vendor we worked with throughout our wedding planning process. We wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone in need of a photographer. You will not regret booking her!

Choosing Anna & Vitaly to document our wedding was the best decision we made in this process. They took the vision we had, and enhanced it even further. There are many photographers/videographers who can deliver solid content, but it really takes a special team to be able to capture a certain "mood" and "aesthetic." We truly appreciate their responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile. I am a caffeine addict who never sleeps. I love a good thunderstorm and playing Candy Crush for the brain breaks. I adore all kinds of dogs, but I have a special love for German Shepherds. My all-time favorite thing is to sit by the fire with a glass of good cabernet or watch the ocean waves hit the beach. I love to garden and to build things (but I let my husband to finish all my projects LOL). I enjoy good food and will likely refer to a stand up comedy routine at least once in a conversation. I am also a football mom, lacrosse mom and basketball mom. Wife to a very understanding husband and emotional support person for my big puppies.

I’ve worked several weddings with Silvia and she has been nothing short of amazing! Nothing thrown at her would take the smile away! Nothing is a big deal and everything has a solution!

We feel so lucky to have found Andrew as our wedding photographer. He has an incredible eye for the editorial style and makes his photos into works of art with golden light and chiaroscuro. So many photographers just rely on their high-res equipment but don't offer anything more--I don't want a macro shot of every pore or line on my face like an owl in a tree at 100 yards, I want to have a sense of magic and beauty in every photo. Andrew actually does that. I almost cried when I saw our first look photos because I don't feel very confident being photographed and I finally had dozens of photos of myself and my husband that I want to share with friends immediately and cherish forever. He delivered the first look so fast, even though I know he was busy working another wedding; I thought for sure we would have to wait longer. The wedding package we chose included very nice touches like polaroids so we had something in hand at the end of the wedding day itself, too. It was very thoughtful and left us feeling good about the whole experience right away. He was very personal and nice to work with, but not intrusive, and went with the little schedule changes we had, and was open to suggestions while we took post-ceremony photos around the city. I couldn't be happier with our experience with him and would recommend him highly to anyone looking for a real artist for their wedding photography.

They are clear about expectations and services from the beginning, while also incorporating creativity and spontaneity in whatever you hire them for. For example, we hired them for our wedding, and we got pictures with CONFETTI!! We saw their extensive work with other couples we knew, and knew that we loved their style as well as how personable they are. Do yourself a favor and work with them!!

A Charleston Wedding Photographer with a fierce love for storytelling, fostering memories and capturing those moments that you will want to treasure forever. I get to tell your story. And, I think that’s pretty cool. I love traveling everywhere and anywhere, talking with my hands, buying plants (and attempting to keep them alive), and spending as much time as I can with my loved ones. I have lived in Boston, Paris, and New York City, and am now lucky enough to call Charleston home, while also still traveling the world for my clients. You can usually find me on my back porch in downtown Charleston, right next to my favorite little park.

tldr: Jessica is amazing and I don’t think you can go wrong with her if this is the style of photos you like I had a lot of difficulty picking a photographer as I’m pretty picky with photos. I knew I wanted something bright and light, with kind of a whimsical or ethereal vibe, but it was really hard finding the style until I came across the “fine art” style. Jessica’s name came up while researching this style and I decided to reach out to her among a few other fine art photographers. I definitely hoped talks would go well with Jessica as the others I contacted ended up either not responding or were wildly out of my budget. Pre-Planning: Jessica was wonderful throughout this process. She promptly responded to my emails and answered questions clearly. I never felt like I was left in the dark for any part of the process. When I sent her the timeline of the ceremony/reception, she quickly came up with a timeline to slot in all the photos to be taken ahead of time at the location (We had access to the venue for a little over an hour prior to the ceremony). She also asked for a list of family photos that we wanted to take. This made it very easy at the wedding as she could call out people’s name to make sure everyone that was supposed to be in the pictures, were in the pictures. Jessica also sent over a list of ideas for detail shots and explained she could do this ahead of time. We didn’t want extra pictures of these and decided against it, however, I still thought it was very thoughtful of her to offer. Wedding Day: I loved her energy at the wedding. She was very calm and felt very competent. She directed my husband and I throughout the pictures, showing us poses etc. During family and wedding party photos, even though we had many bodies to fit in the frame in quite a few pictures, she led us through them with ease and the entire experience was very stress free (or as stress free as can be at a wedding lol). The venue was quite dim at specific locations, but the final results did not reflect that at all. The pictures were bright and did not look like they were taken in the dark at all. (This is a little off topic but I loved the little apron with pockets she wore for her equipment. So cute) I’m not sure when Jessica had the time, but there were pictures around the venue which were so beautiful. I definitely feel like the day was captured through the pictures. Post Wedding: Jessica sent us a sneak peak 2 days after the wedding containing 23 pictures. They turned out great and were beautiful. You can see examples on her website so I won’t elaborate, but they really are that good. The full gallery was sent almost a month after the wedding (minus 2 days) with instructions on purchasing prints or an album attached. The full download contained 650ish files, including the sneak peek pictures. Half of which were black and white, so this matched up pretty perfectly with Jessica’s estimation of the amount of photos when we spoke in the pre-planning stage.

Hello! My name is Katya! I am thrilled you are interested in choosing me to document your special day! I believe that choosing a wedding photographer is about more than just hiring someone with a camera to document your day. Your wedding photographer should be someone who inspires you, and someone who eases wedding day jitters. And, hopefully someone who eventually becomes a friend. I'm excited to give you a little tour so you can learn more about me - the process of working together - and my wedding collections!

Katya was so amazing to work with! She was so efficient, kind, and took gorgeous photos! The spot she took us in Farragut had a beautiful background and was perfect! The photos turned out so beautiful and were everything we were hoping for! I got married at a church, and so the lighting was difficult, but Katya still managed to take great photos inside as well! Thank you Katya, for doing such a wonderful job!

Kelsie Elizabeth Photography

  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $6,000

From her high school darkroom days, to full time wedding and family photography, Kelsie leaned into her passion of capturing couples’ stories as they unfold. As a student of the Art Institute of Boston and Maine Photographic Workshops, art has always been an outlet for Kelsie. In addition, her Culinary Arts and Hospitality degree and extensive experience in catering and event management, gives her an advantageous eye for the details. Enjoying colors, fabrics, and florals, she is able to capture both the celebratory love shared at a wedding as well as the design and beauty surrounding the couple and their guests.

Having Kelsie as our photographer was one of the best decisions we made in planning our wedding! Kelsie is fun, thoughtful, organized, flexible, and such a talented photographer. Her previous experience as an event planner shone through as she kept in touch and asked careful questions to get to know us and think through our vision. Covid got in the way of many of our plans and we had to reorganize our whole wedding just days out, but Kelsie’s eye for balancing big moments and small details really captured all the special parts of our day. We couldn’t be more thrilled with how our photos and wedding album turned out!
