Theater of the Sea is a historical landmark in the Florida Keys. It is the second oldest operating marine mammal park in the world. Located in Islamorada (Village of Purple Islands), the park has hosted many weddings since opening its doors in 1946. We have over 17 acres of lush, tropical gardens, and salt water lagoons. Theater of the Sea has several landscaped areas to host ceremonies, receptions, rehearsals, and anything else you'd want incorporated into your event. The 2nd story is solely dedicated to the expansive master bedroom and bathroom, with life changing open vistas of sunrises and sunset from every window, and would make a fantastic place for a wedding party to get ready. To make things easy for our couples, we also include, tables, chairs, bistro lighting, set up/breakdown, and arbor/arch. An onsite caterer is also available, although you're free to choose your own vendors and bring in your own alcohol. We sleep 36 guests on site, and there are nearby hotels and motels to accommodate all additional wedding guests.
