About this venue

Theater of the Sea is a historical landmark in the Florida Keys. It is the second oldest operating marine mammal park in the world. Located in Islamorada (Village of Purple Islands), the park has hosted many weddings since opening its doors in 1946. We have over 17 acres of lush, tropical gardens, and salt water lagoons. Theater of the Sea has several landscaped areas to host ceremonies, receptions, rehearsals, and anything else you'd want incorporated into your event. Why not spend your special day among dolphins, sea lions, and other wonderful animals?

Park After Hours

As sun the sun goes down, the magic begins!

You can rent the whole park after hours for your event. You can choose to hold gatherings in one of the animal stadiums to watch a dolphin or sea lion show. You may request the presence of our colorful parrots during a cocktail hour. However you envision your event we will work with our staff to make it happen.
