Husband & Wife Photography Team

This is us. We are Rachel and Xiwei. She’s old-fashioned. She likes quilting, folk music, and snuggling baby goats. He’s a modern man. He likes computers, technology, and watching action movies. Somehow we met and fell in love. I guess opposites do attract! Now we have three adorable children that we love spending time with, whether it’s fighting over who gets to play one of our 3 gaming consoles (how many consoles can a family have?!) or spending an afternoon outside at the beach we wouldn’t have it any other way. Modern tech doesn’t scare us, we’ve got cutting-edge cameras and equipment. But neither do time-honored traditions.

We both love creating gorgeous images from beautiful, magical, unique weddings. And we both love getting to know sweet couples who are SO in love, just like us! Telling a love story is one of those things that is both brand new every day, and as old as time. We can’t wait to tell yours.

    Ying Photography was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was prompt, helpful, and polite, putting us at ease throughout the entire process. On the day of, having two talented photographers, Bill and Rachel, was amazing - no special moment was missed as Bill captured the boys getting ready while Rachel photographed the girls. This allowed us to get a ton of great photos before our first look. Ying Photography's incredible skills and artistic eye shone through in every shot, and they made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We are thrilled with their images and couldn't recommend them more highly.

    Since my husband and I have met them, we couldn't be happier with our experience. They are perfect and take and edit the most perfect pictures. I was showing everyone (even strangers) how great the pictures were that they took the same night as the wedding. They kept me sane and they kept my mom sane some how which was not easy. We just went to a wedding recently and the whole time I thought, we need the Yings here. They set the standard very high for wedding photographers. They also took our engagent pictures and they were incredible. It rained the last 10 minutes and they ran to get the umbrella for the photo of my husband and I and it turned out AMAZING. I felt bad because they got soaked but they didn't even care. They just want to make sure we were happy

    For our wedding day, Rachel and Xiwei went above and beyond to make it such an incredible time. We had asked them to get a lot of candid photos of guests and they knew exactly what we wanted! We got our photos back and they were beautiful! So many amazing photos of us and our family and friends. We also received so many compliments from our guests in the photographers because in some ways they added to the fun. Highly recommend to go with them for your big day!
