Field of Flowers is an event venue located on a 27-acre farm in New Waverly, Texas. The original home was built in 1887 and was moved from Willis, Texas. In 2011, the owners made vast improvements which now presents a 4,000 square foot East Texas school house style home. The home is surrounded by hay fields and a two-acre stocked pond. The eastern section of the property is host to The Good Stuff flower farm.

Your Something Old & New! Olde Dobbin Station will provide a unique experience for its clients through the use of old structures built in the early 1900’s, restored to their original look and feel, while adding a vintage touch. The buildings were initially used by oil companies as a “pumping station” and later became a famous place of fellowship for those in the community due to its Artesian Water Well. It became the community “swimming hole” according to many of the locals and remains a historical marker for the community and its residents. Olde Dobbin has recently renovated its final structure and officially has made it into a chapel. The “chapel” was initially used in the late 1800’s as a pump house for the nearby trains' steam.

The Retreat at Hempstead is nestled on five acres. The property includes a beautiful newly renovated 4900 sq. ft. country home - THE RETREAT HOUSE and a 1600 sq. ft. event venue - THE BARN at THE RETREAT. Tired of the same wedding barn look? This 1883 historic Laundry building is the epitome of a unique venue. It has several spaces to choose from- from an intimate 50 person ballroom to a larger 150 person main reception area. The outdoor terrace has beautiful party lights and allows the party to spill outside. There is also a 2 bedroom apartment that can be rented to use as a bridal suite or to house the couple. The town of Navasota was founded in 1854 and the tracks brought the railroad by 1859. One of the first buildings built here was a hotel, built by Ms. Louisa Loftin. She was quite the ambitious widow for a woman during the late nineteenth century. Conflicting research shows the hotel was either built as early as 1860 or as late as 1876. She soon met and married P. A. Smith and the hotel bore his name. At first, the railroad brought a great number of patrons, but, unfortunately, the Civil War brought the economy of Navasota as well as the success of the hotel, down, after only a few years.
