Big Sky Barn by Walters Wedding Estates

The chapel at Big Sky Barn features more than 3,000 square feet of climate-controlled space – dedicated solely to your ceremony. The walls of the chapel are solid oak planks, handpainted on-site for an antiqued whitewashed appeal. Your ceremony will be backed by a 26-foot-tall wall of antique windows framed by oak beams, uniting the inside with the great outdoors. With architectural details around every corner, there is no shortage of photo opportunities here.

Anchored by the three-and-a-half-story, double-sided stone fireplace, the magnificent Grand Reception Barn is composed of large reclaimed timber beams, and oak, hemlock and pine boards sourced from old buildings, barns, and factories in the Northeastern United States. The steel windows, repurposed from a Carnegie Steel Building, complement the warmth of the wood for an eclectic mix of old-world charm and modern style.

Sitting on 17 acres of land surrounded by backdrops of pines and hardwood, cocktail hour at Big Sky Barn is breath taking. Guests can choose to play games of giant Jenga and Cornhole while drinks are served from our vintage bar truck, relax on our back patio and giant porch swing, or explore the nature rich grounds and gazebo. Venture back out to this area after sunset to take in the beauty of this serene landscape adorned in the glow of the twinkling string lights.
