About this venue
Your Something Old & New! Olde Dobbin Station will provide a unique experience for its clients through the use of old structures built in the early 1900’s, restored to their original look and feel, while adding a vintage touch. The buildings were initially used by oil companies as a “pumping station” and later became a famous place of fellowship for those in the community due to its Artesian Water Well. It became the community “swimming hole” according to many of the locals and remains a historical marker for the community and its residents. Olde Dobbin has recently renovated its final structure and officially has made it into a chapel. The “chapel” was initially used in the late 1800’s as a pump house for the nearby trains' steam.

Your something old and new
McCoy Station is the main events venue at Olde Dobbin Station… This is not only the main facility, but it is also the largest of the three buildings. With over 8,000 square feet of space, Olde Dobbin Station is able to hold larger weddings than most. McCoy Station has been restored to emphasize its unique structures and architecture. With its historical and eloquent appeal, it is the perfect spot for any event.

Chapel
Your Something Old and new
Olde Dobbin has recently renovated its final structure and officially has made it into a chapel. Olde Dobbin is pleased to now offer a chapel, grooms room, bridal suite and reception area along with their outdoor ceremony site. The “chapel” was initially used in the late 1800’s as a pump house for the nearby trains steam. This building is for ceremony use only, and not for cocktail hours or additional reception space.

Our Dressing Suite is a smaller building adjacent to McCoy Station and is primarily geared at offering a changing room for wedding party and other members of the wedding party. The “chapel” was initially used in the late 1800’s as a pump house for the nearby trains’ steam. (It is approximately 400 square feet)

Old Dobbin Station
This venue is absolutely gorgeous. The staff was amazing and answered any and all questions I had. We were even able use the venue for engagement photos.
Rustic, Cozy, Gorgeous
I'm a wedding photographer who has shot at just about every venue in and around Houston. Olde Dobbin Station easily sits in my top 3 wedding venues. The inside and outside are so naturally stunning that little decor is needed. The layout, amazing natural light, and incredibly friendly and caring staff keeps ODS at the top of my list. I can't recommend this gem enough!
Amazing venue!
My husband and I had our wedding anniversary party at Olde Dobbin Station. You just can’t go wrong with this venue. The staff is knowledgeable, caring and dedicated. They are able to answer questions that will help you make the best decisions for your event. Everyone works well with the other vendors and that makes for a very smooth event experience. The venue itself is full of authentic history that you can actually see for yourself with the arches and the exposed steel beams. That type of aesthetic is not easy to replicate and gives ODS a distinct look and feel all of its own. The chapel is very versatile. There is not a right or wrong way to set up the space for a wedding ceremony. Added bonus: it also has a groom’s suite! Even the bridal suite is rich in history and as an original building, has been dedicated to brides and their wedding party as the ultimate place to get ready. The venue grounds are well kept and manicured. This leads to numerous outdoor locations for natural light photos. Not to mention, an outdoor ceremony location. This venue has it all! You will be very happy with your choice!
