Casey is truly a joy to work with and we have so many weddings booked together for the future- I absolutely can't wait to work with him every time I see his name pop up. As a fellow lgbtq community member, he really makes everyone feel confident and comfortable, all while making it a super fun time. I HIGHLY recommend him, both from a vendor AND a client stand point!

Ever since I was a child it has been my dream to become a filmmaker. I love sharing my passion for film with my clients to produce stunning, high quality videos that can be cherished forever. My unique style of filming allows me to capture moments that would otherwise go undocumented and lost forever. Growing up on the Central Coast gave me an appreciation for the serene beauty of nature that I strive to capture with all my films. I currently live in Los Angeles where I work in film and tv, most notably on the Emmy winning show Abbott Elementary.

I am so glad that we booked 1920 video. After speaking with Brandt I knew it was a good fit because he understood my vision for our wedding video. I could tell he had a passion for storytelling and the art of filmmaking. He was able to capture our love story and delivered a beautiful work of art that we can cherish for the years to come.

I've been filming and photographing weddings since 2009. I'm also a musician and I help craft most of the music in the wedding films I create. I love working with couples that have unique personalities and styles. My work resonates the most with who it's made for, and I always keep that audience in mind.

Steve Berkenkemper is not simply a photographer/videographer; he is an artist. When you work with Birchfields you will receive an absolutely stunning, unique, bespoke result that is beyond what you imagined. Steve pours his soul into his work and the work speaks for itself. Each video even has original music! I have known Steve for many years, worked with him professionally, and have hired himself multiple times. Steve is a national leader in the industry, working internationally as well, yet he also dedicates himself to elevating the culture of his local community through his work with historical institutions, the city government, public schools, and helping with The Family Portrait Project. If you are looking for a photographer and/or videographer, stop. Book Birchfields while you can. His artful capturing of your wedding will be a family heirloom.

I create short films from your old home movies and favorite photographs. Process: First, we'll chat and you tell me everything you'd like to share about you or your loved ones featured in the footage. I'll walk you through selecting the photos/videos to best tell your story. You gather all the footage (feel free to outsource to family + friends!) and send to me. And that's it! I take it from there and get to work creating a short film that reflects you + your unique story.

I hired Katherine to make a short childhood-to-the-present video for my wife’s milestone birthday. Based on what I’ve seen of Katherine’s work, I knew it would be high quality and creative, but my expectations were slightly muted because what I gave her to work with was almost all old still photographs with very few videos. I was blown away by what Katherine created! When my wife watched the nine minute film (along with family and friends) she burst into tears of joy and surprise. She absolutely loved it. It’s a beautiful tribute with real narrative and emotional power, skillfully enhanced with music. If you’re looking for the visual equivalent of a lounge pianist — a film loop to play in the background while people socialize — you’d be well served by a more generic slideshow. What Katherine made for us is a one of a kind treasure that generates memories, conversation and emotion. Needless to say, we’re delighted.

My goal is to make film videography accessible and memorable for everyone who wants their special moments captured. After learning and teaching Super8 videography for my own elopement and micro-wedding 2 years ago, I wanted to develop my business to offer Super8 to all! I specialize in couples, elopements, and micro-weddings. My average pricing depends on the event type, duration, and details!

My now-fiancé surprised me by having a super8 film taken of our engagement and I am so beyond words. Kiley made sure to catch all the important moments as well as the little details that only a trained eye would notice. She captured our engagement and love story so beautifully and now we have this amazing video to look back on the rest of our lives. I promise super 8 is a worthwhile investment. You won’t regret booking Kiley!

I began using super 8 film 10 years ago to document my family’s life and I was immediately hooked. I have always loved getting film developed and returned, and super 8 film is a magical, mini time capsule.

Noelle right off the bat made my husband and myself feel at ease about our day and moments being captured. My husband and I are not big fans of cameras or being center staged but knew this day was special. Noelle made us comfortable, confident, and at ease while being captured by our photographer and herself. Seeing our video and having those memories that we can look back on anytime has been magical and beyond irreplaceable. Thank you Noelle, you are pure talent!
