Hi there, my name is Caleb but most people call me Cook. I spent almost 13 years in the southeast filming weddings, events, corporate gigs and commercials. I moved to California in 2012 and pursued a different career. A couple years ago I decided to get back into event videography and started Cook Captures. When shooting events I have a very hands off candid style. I love to capture people naturally having fun, enjoying the day and creating memories. Every event I film is unique and each film ends up with it’s own story and narrative that fit the couple, venue, guests and overall vibe of your wedding.

I perform all of the editing in-house and personally craft your film from scratch. When I sit down to edit your wedding day the timeline is a canvas and the final piece is always unique. I don’t believe in cookie cutter videos for the couples that book me. You can look at my work and see my style but your final film will be completely unique to you as a couple and is custom tailored each and every time. I have a saying that if I don’t get excited, laugh, cry and feel the emotion of the day while editing a video then I haven’t done my job. My elopement package is the perfect way to capture those fun micro wedding/elopements. Whether its a backyard or by the beach, I will create a custom highlight to save those memories for you to revisit for years to come. Travel fees do apply outside of the LA area.

My standard wedding package is perfect for capturing intimate weddings. Including 6 hours of coverage with the option to add additional hours, I custom craft a highlight video of the day with the best shots of the day, audio from your vows and speeches and that wonderful moment when you say "I do". All of this is curated into highlight that will let you live the day over and over again!

Complete Wedding Package

Description

As my most popular package, you will receive service that is designed to cover your entire day. With a sneak peak(social media reel) to share right after the wedding along with a custom film based on your preference and coverage for 8 hours with the option to add extra time, this package is more custom than it is a package. Also included is the raw footage where you can watch everything I capture from the day, like watching a home movie.

My deluxe package pulls out all the stops and is best suited for weddings with a large number of guests at larger venues. Adding on an additional camera operator as well as more hours and drone footage its truly design to provide full coverage of every moment at your wedding. Additionally I provide an engagement or wedding announcement video prior to the wedding. I custom craft a full length custom film as well as a highlight and all the raw footage so you get the full suite of video!

    Cook and Peter were so great to work with. I appreciated their understanding of how difficult the cost of weddings have gone up and how they were willing to cooperate reasonably throughout the whole process. Cook was able to capture all the shots I was hoping to have captured and his talent is truly evident. My husband and I were hoping to get some footage within the whole gallery of the not so “picture-perfect” to keep memories authentic and to see the natural candid side of our special day. Cook delivered that exactly through his videos. I truly recommend working with Cook if you are looking for someone to capture a meaningful event in your life.
