Lovely people, product did not deliver

It pains me to write this, but unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this company. A wedding is such a critically vulnerable time, and these folks are very gentle and kind. However, the vision was not quite there, and there were product issues as well. I wouldn't call the videography particularly flattering-- at all. The bride is between a size 0 and 00 and, knowing that she is petite and quite thin, was shocked at the footage selected to appear in the videos & accompanying stills. If you are a size 2 or more, this is not your company. No matter the size, be prepared to have those "cringe" moments. Despite multiple requests for certain music the video itself still had a song neither the bride nor groom would have chosen. The video is only available through the company's website which means 1. they are in control and can change anything at any time; 2. all of your wedding details become public (if you are a private person, DO NOT hire this company); and 3. your wedding video ends and the next lovely couple's pops up-- the overall look feels cheap, and conveys to the audience that the videos are more advertisement than personalized. Additionally, the bride made clear that both the couple and the parents' of the bride would have liked her late sister's photographs included in the film: sibling loss stings extra sharp during monumental occasions like these. No such photos were included. The bride did not want detail shots because she didn't have a wedding band yet-- still, photos of the day's substitute band appeared prominently. Most uncomfortably, the couple requested under *no* uncertain terms that certain folks (2, identified multiple times) not be featured in the video for very sensitive and personal reasons-- still, those certain folks were featured numerous times presumably because of their familial proximity. In all honesty, the bride had hired a lovely videographer and photographer for her bachelorette in Mexico which cost a fraction and delivered twice the product. If you are someone that has experienced anything less than a picture-perfect family setting, is a size 2 or above, or that has any concerns about privacy, I would simply avoid this company. I do think that they might serve a different demographic well. Wedding budget: 120,000.
