Super8 Film Videographer

My goal is to make film videography accessible and memorable for everyone who wants their special moments captured. After learning and teaching Super8 videography for my own elopement and micro-wedding 2 years ago, I wanted to develop my business to offer Super8 to all! I specialize in couples, elopements, and micro-weddings. My average pricing depends on the event type, duration, and details!

Super8 film videography offers a vintage aesthetic coupled with that home-movie feel that takes you back to the exact moment you lived on your special day. Your wedding video should be an heirloom film that you can pass down to your loved ones for decades to come. I have chosen to solely focus on analog videography because your celebration deserves the details! Hiring me as your videographer ensures those candid moments are prioritized.

Micro-Wedding Package

3 hours

Description

Your wedding video on Super8 film! Guest count between 11-30 guests preferred. Starting at 3 hours, more hours can be added for an additional price depending on your wedding schedule. Less hours will not affect minimum price.

Full-Scale Wedding Package

4 hours

Description

Starting at 4 hours of coverage, can be increased for an additional price. Pricing heavily depends on wedding schedule and what you desire to be included in your film. Minimum number of guests must be 40+

I have worked with Kiley several times in the wedding industry. Her creative spark isn’t just in the super8 filming. She has assisted me as a wedding coordinator, as well as my colleagues in florals. My now-fiancé surprised me by having a super8 film taken of our engagement and I am so beyond words. Absolutely. Reach out anytime to ask about our special pricing for elopements! Please note your elopement must have fewer than 10 total guests.

Once you know your wedding date, I recommend reaching out as soon as possible about our availability. We film a limited number of weddings every year to ensure our couples receive the highest quality service.

All footage we film is edited in-house by me, Kiley Rizzo!

Due to the time it takes to ship Super8 film to a lab, develop, and scan it, 95% of the process is waiting for the film to come back to me. After your wedding, I will be completely transparent about the process with you, and begin editing as soon as I receive your film from the lab! But unfortunately I cannot offer same-day editing services.

We’ll send a private link to share your final wedding video with you. Only people with that link will be able to see your video. However, unless previously agreed upon, parts of and/or all of your video may likely be used by me (velvet letters cinema co llc) for social media and advertising purposes.

Definitely! While we’re based in Wilmington, North Carolina, we’re available for destination weddings! If your wedding is over 200 miles outside the New Hanover County area, we’re happy to come to your city for an additional fee to cover the cost of travel and reasonable accommodations. Cities we've previously traveled to domestically include: Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City, Raleigh, etc.

Good question! Due to copyright license laws, I am unable to select a mainstream song for your published Super8 film. Besides approved songs and audios for Instagram reels only, your published wedding film on YouTube and Dropbox will be chosen from a curated selection of royalty-free music from Artlist! We will work together to find a song that best fits the essence of your relationship.
