They wanted a unique home with Colorado history so they modeled the building after Bent's Fort off the Santé Fe Trail. Originally it was supposed to be a summer home but decided to add the restaurant before construction was completed. The Fort has been owned and operated by the Arnold Family for 60 years. We are known for our buffalo and game meats as well as our historical mountain ambiance. The Fort features seven different private areas for your reception, depending on your group size. Half buyouts and Full buyouts are also available. For your ceremony we utilize our "heli-patio" which features panoramic views of downtown Denver and surrounding foothills. Christies of Genesee is located in the scenic Genesee area just off I-70 at 7600 feet in elevation. We have a beautiful garden and patio area complete with a waterfall and bridge spanning our pond.
