At my previous job, I helped plan several employee luncheons and holiday parties, with about 100-150 employees attending. I even led the planning a few times. In the summers of 2021 and 2022, I became an on-site wedding coordinator for a local venue, with 5 weddings each summer. In 2023, I coordinated 11 weddings (from full planning to day-of coordination), a large gala for non-profits, an annual fundraiser, a memorial service (for 300+ guests) and a surprise birthday party.

The Arboretum is a non-profit organization and our main mission is education. Your wedding rental fee goes directly into our children's education program. Heceta Head is one of the most beautiful lighthouses in the world! The Lighthouse and Light Keeper’s home are circa 1894. Both are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. From a height of 205 feet above the ocean, its “first order” Fresnel lens, casts it’s beams some 21 miles out to sea. It is the brightest light on the Oregon coast. It is said to be the most photographed lighthouse in the United States. The Light Keeper’s home is perched on a cliff with a magnificent view of the Pacific Ocean and the beach below. Paths from the Light Keeper’s Home lead both to the beach and to the lighthouse. Very special couples have chosen the Heceta Lighthouse B&B as their wedding destination and we are happy that you are considering us for your special day.
