The house was designed by architect James King and built in 1889. In 1899, architect John Tourtelotte designed a remodel of the house, transforming it into a grand Queen Anne style. Typical of the Victorian era, the home features the original hardwood floors and restored original woodwork. Antique furniture and elegant light fixtures create a graceful atmosphere, which is complimented with period wallpaper and window coverings.

You create exactly what you envision! There are several sites for both the ceremony and the reception to choose from on Trail Creek Ranch. Beautiful scenery all around with views of the Gros Ventre Mountain Range. Our historic barn sets the scene beautifully and many use it as a backdrop for a ceremony or cocktail party. The bride and groom have access to the amazing loft for pictures unlike any others. We can help with choosing all the right vendors, but you have flexibility to use whomever you choose. We are located just outside Boise in Emmett, Idaho. As the venue sits on our home and property, we look to bring the feeling of comfort, joy, and connection that can only be found in home and nature. We offer a charming and intimate environment set in rustic, natural landscapes with thoughtfully maintained gardens. We host weddings of up to 225 people, and can provide seating and tables for that many guests. Other amenities you can expect include comfortable restrooms, stylish wedding party suites, a large car park, a bar area, dance floor, and an on site representative to aid in any problems pertaining to the venue.
