“WOW! We think that is truly the only appropriate way to start a review about Kylee’s photography and business. To say what we thought having a photographer would be like for our wedding day versus what we got could not be more different. It feels like we gained a new best friend, with more talent than can even be described. From start to finish Kylee was amazing. Seeing someone so vocal with her support of the LGBTQ community was just a small part of making her part of our special day. Her work definitely speaks for itself, but the day of was total magic. Being the daughter of first-generation immigrants, I saw how precious photos become in life. Some photos are the only tangible connection we have to a person or place that is dearly missed. “Mariandree was a real gem to work with! We had originally planned our ceremony and small reception for Dec. 2020, but because of COVID had to make some changes. We kept our outside (super cold) ceremony for that December and Mariandree was more than willing to accommodate, given the circumstances. She was a real trooper out there with us on the freezing Waterfront, and we got some amazing photos back within a week! Mariandree was more than gracious to allow us to reschedule the second half of our photoshoot for September 2021 where we finally got to enjoy a small backyard reception. She brought her sister along as a second photographer for the first round, and her mom for the second. It made it really fun and relaxing because she got along so well with my own mom. Overall, I would definitely recommend Mdree Photography for your wedding! She is organized and makes sure to deliver. For me, photography all started with the outdoors. As someone who loves to bike, hike, kayak, and backpack, photos were a way to capture the vistas and memories I was creating. Weddings became what I loved most due to their fast pace nature, creative freedom, and the opportunity to document real, life-long memories. Every couple and every family has a unique, incredible story. It’s a blessing to be able to document these life-changing events that people can look back on forever.

“I enthusiastically recommend Rob for all your photography needs. He is super personable, affordable, and his photos are absolutely stunning. Rob photographed our wedding and what initially set him apart was his video messages and desire to have video meetings (we got married during the COVID-19 pandemic). At first, we found it a bit unusual, but we quickly realized that the video calls made it so much easier to get to know Rob and build a connection, particularly during a time when in-person meetings aren't an easy option. We had a few video calls to talk through our vision and hopes for the wedding day. Rob also walked us through examples of weddings he had done that would be similar in style to ours so we could get a sense of his artistic approach. We could immediately tell that he was very thorough and detail-oriented. As we were planning out the day, Rob gave super helpful suggestions, demonstrating his knowledge of what worked in the DC area (including at the Capitol, the Lincoln Memorial, and the DC War Memorial) from a photographer’s perspective, and helped us develop a realistic plan for the day given our time together. On the wedding day, Rob made us feel very comfortable - both with him and with having our photo taken as we were newbies at that. And all of our guests felt the same way as he was organizing the after ceremony family portraits. He also turned around the final product in a very timely manner (within one month), and provided a sneak peak within the first week. We were completely blown away. The photos were vibrant, creative, and captured the joy and memories of the day so well. Family and friends are already hanging them up in their houses.”
