Vanderbilt Lakeside offers thoughtfully curated stays and events in a welcoming gathering space, with custom in-house food and bar packages. Charming, versatile, and ideal for group getaways, retreats, and celebrations of all sizes—from intimate dinner parties, to large scale gatherings and bespoke weddings. ​ The space itself is a newly redesigned, large (6000 SF) house. It was originally built in the 1800s. The outdoor areas can also be incorporated for your event--our deck and yard are completely open-air; you would be welcome to work with a third-party rental company to have a tent set up, if of interest. Including the outdoor areas, we have the following approximate Capacity for Events: *Seated Dinner with a Ceremony: 100 guests *Seated Dinner without a Ceremony (or with a ceremony that has fewer guests in attendance): 130 *Cocktail Party with or without a Ceremony: up to 150 guests

Jhori Jurgenson is a certified makeup artist with over six years in the makeup industry. Immediately following her first month of makeup certification at the Austin School of Spa Technology in 2016, she was hired to work on the Lifetime movie ‘Derailed.’ Following her break into the film circuit, she has worked on several productions and commercial shoots, including ‘The Pretenders’ directed by James Franco, and continues to work on film productions that are filmed in the Hudson Valley.

Our flower shop is bordered with a cutting garden which is utilized to provide unique accents that are custom grown for events, we also source blooms from other local farms right here in the Hudson Valley for your wedding flowers. .

He specializes in providing both traditional and contemporary music in any style for wedding ceremony, cocktail hour and micro-reception. He has a robust song list to choose from, and can learn special requests on demand. Austin provides all of his own professional grade music equipment, and can provide ceremony sound services/microphones for your officiant, vows and readings.

Jesse and Justin have been playing music together since they met performing in a band at Disneyland in 2001. After moving to Beacon, NY around the same time, it made sense to start an official wedding music business to share their love of music with some of the many happy couples getting married in the Hudson Valley.
