My husband and I got married at the CKE this October 2024. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to their entire team for all of their hard work to make our visions and dreams come to life. Each and every staff member was kind, and helpful. If you had a question you’d get a response promptly and always with a “let’s see what we can do attitude”. Katherine (the owner) made you feel a part of the CKE family and always was looking to make the planning process seamless and easy for us and our family. The CKE floral and design team made our big ideas all come to life- we had a visions of big branching centerpieces with florals tucked in, that Jess and her team absolutely delivered on. On top of that, we asked for an installation over our sweetheart table. Jess and her team have many suggestions and shared they visited Home Depot at least 3 times to see how it would hang, and the final installation beyond exceeded our expectations. The talent and grace their team exudes is what ever bride and groom look for in a team. The planning process was also so seamless due to their amazing coordinator team. We worked with Katrina, the kindest, most professional coordinator we have ever met. Katrina was available at every step of the planning process, providing thoughtful recommendations due to her very obvious experience. Katrina also was there for our wedding day of helping to manage the schedule, set up, constantly checking in, and making sure it all went according to plan (which it did). In addition during the reception Katrina was checking with us throughout the night to see if we wanted to pivot anything or if we needed anything. We are extremely grateful for her support! In addition, Kyle was our maitre d’ for the evening and he did an absolutely wonderful job. He made sure to check in with my husband and I as well as our immediate family members. He was so kind and professional! Lastly but very importantly- the food and drinks! Most of all of our guests shared that this was the best wedding food they have ever had. It is no small feat cooking for large groups and every aspect of the food from the cocktail hour to the dinner course was absolutely fantastic. These are a few quotes from guests: - “The food was gourmet.” - “This is the real deal.” - “The sushi… Oh, the sushi! So fresh!” In addition, the bartenders crushed it! Everyone was impressed by the quality of the drinks and we never had a line at the bar- they were fast and catered to our guests. I would highly recommend the CKE to future couples getting married. The aspect of the family business really shows and ensures you have a tailored experience for your wedding. The entire staff is kind and down to earth- always willing to help. We wish them nothing but the best for their future wedding seasons!

Booking with The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm is the best thing my husband and I have ever done. We were looking to have a small intimate wedding, but every venue tour we did still had a 75-100 person minimum and required a large cost requirement for catering. Then I happened upon The Wedding Foundry when researching micro weddings. We had one phone call with Billiam and immediately signed the contract, without even viewing the venue first. As a bride, the fact that they were including the venue, the officiant, photography, florals and catering was the best thing ever. It took so much stress off of me while planning this wedding, as I did not have to run around to different vendors. Billiam and Erica were extremely communicative and really took the time to learn what we were looking for. Day of, Billiam and his day of coordinator Cathy made sure the day ran perfectly. We were absolutely blown away from how beautiful our venue was. The florals they created made our wedding look like a fairy tale. Our guests said it was the most beautiful wedding they have ever been to. Erica was an absolute pro with photography, really taking her time with my husband and I for our portraits. Throughout the night she made sure to capture every moment. Erica sent teasers to us within a week of our wedding and the photos are beautiful. The officiant, Michele, was amazing. She created the most personalized and beautiful ceremony that fit us perfectly. We loved how she included a hand-fasting ceremony as well. Multiple guests approached us to let us know that there was not a single dry eye during our ceremony. The Wedding Foundry truly created our perfect day. We are so happy with our intimate wedding, we had 46 of our closest friends and family and everyone truly enjoyed the day. I highly recommend booking The Wedding Foundry at Liberty View Farm for your intimate wedding.

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Hildegard and the SkyView staff! We planned our wedding less than a year out, and Hildegard was very accommodating and very responsive throughout the planning process - she was truly a pleasure to work with. On wedding day, we also had Jenn and Iwan helping out to make sure the day ran smoothly. We did our ceremony off-site so we cannot speak on that, but our cocktail hour and reception were absolutely awesome! We still have guests raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue and grounds are. You definitely get the best value for your money in terms of northern NJ wedding venues, and we couldn't recommend SkyView enough!

I cannot day enough good things about Mountainville manor. We had an elopement ceremony and pictures on the property. We could not have been happier and luckier to have found this venue. The whole process was simple and although it was an elopement with just the two of us, the owner Lauren, made it feel so special. The bouquet that was included in the elopement package was beautiful and exceeded my expectations. The grounds are immaculately kept w beautiful landscaping. The newly remodeled interior is as beautiful. There is a beautiful bridal and grooms room. The bride room includes a full bathroom w a shower. The owner, Lauren was very attentive and made sure we had water and a bite to eat as well as offering to go to the store in the event we forgot something. She was extremely accommodating and and made sure our vision was executed and really wanted to make sure we had the wedding of our dreams.

The Whistling Swan Inn was the perfect place for our family at our son's wedding. We had booked the entire inn for 3 nights. Rooms and suites were large and beautifully decorated. From the moment we reached out to them, the owners were incredibly communicative, accommodating, and pleasant to work with. Each of the guest rooms was climate-controlled with private en-suite bathrooms, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The beautiful environment throughout the entire inn, combined with the excellent breakfast and plentiful beverages and pastries available all day, made our wedding weekend truly special. The owner and staff were accommodating and immediately responsive to all requests. We are so grateful to the Whistling Swan Inn for contributing to the magic of our family's special weekend celebrations. Plus it's so lovely, we are planning little romantic visits throughout the seasons.

We cannot put into words how incredible our daughter and son in law’s wedding was this past Saturday night. The entire event was way beyond what we even imaged it would be. The Meadow Wood is an absolutely beautiful, elegant venue (inside and outside) with every detail accounted for. That theme continues from start to finish with all they do. The food was not only delicious but was presented in such a way you couldn’t help but simply just say “Wow". We are happy we took a moment to pause and take it all in - from cocktail hour displays, to main course plating, to desserts that went on forever …. – “Amazing!!”. We appreciate all the work, professionalism and hands on attentive approach from the staff (a special shout out to Juan and Becky!!). None of this could have been accomplished without them working together in the same manner. It was seamless. Thank you, George, John, Tim, Charlie, Frank and all at the Meadow Wood for making our daughter and son-in-law’s wedding “the best day ever “as they begin their new life together as a married couple

Camp Sacajawea was the best decision we made while wedding planning! We knew we didn’t want a standard ball room wedding but never could have imagined a venue as cool as Camp Sacajawea. The day we saw it we knew it was for us. The staff was super kind and helpful! The ambiance is eclectic and lends its self to so many possibilities, they even have a bunch of decor other couples have donate following their events to pay it forward to the next couple! You can use any vendors you want to make your event exactly as you wish! They even offer lawn games and, archery / axe throwing for events. We also came from out of state and they were super flexible/ supportive to make sure we were comfortable. Don’t hesitate if you’re interested, worth every penny! All our guests are raving about how much fun they had !

David’s Country Inn exceeded our expectations from beginning to end! After visiting multiple venues, the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by its charm and knew it was the perfect choice for us. Opting for a Thursday wedding turned out to be a fantastic decision! On our special day, the staff was exceptional, the food was delicious and served promptly, and the cocktail hour was filled with all our selected dishes, while the bar staff efficiently managed the crowd. They also have a fantastic selection of preferred vendors! Our event coordinator, Kristian, along with Maitre'Ds Brenda and Brandon, were simply outstanding! Their communication, both via email and on the day itself, was seamless. Everything unfolded even better than I had envisioned! I did encounter a decor hiccup with the arch behind my sweetheart table, which my husband had crafted. On the wedding day, I was trying to adjust it when Brenda noticed my struggle. She immediately stepped in, reassured me, and took charge of the situation. Thanks to her, the arch turned out beautifully, just as I had hoped, and I was so relieved! I truly don’t know what I would have done without her help. Choosing DCI for our wedding was the best decision we could have made, and our day was absolutely flawless! We wholeheartedly recommend them!

We got married at The Mansion on Aug 10th and there are insufficient characters in this review box to capture our gratitude for what an impeccable place this was to get married. We initially chose the venue for ease of the location (we live a few blocks away). I hoped the food would be good, since we couldn't do a tasting, and just trusted it would all work out. THESE PEOPLE BLEW ME AWAY. The staff is awesome, from the Matre D, to the Bridal Attendant, to all the ways Jim and Nancy helped us tend to ever detail of the event, it was the most perfect day. The food was so delicious. Our guests are still talking to us about it weeks later. The cocktail hour was incredible. The main course was the best piece of meat I've ever had in my life. Everything was so fresh, and so delicious. My only regret of my wedding was that I didn't eat more than just a few bites of everything. I woke up the next morning craving the rest of my filet mignon, lol. We went with the "minimum" of everything included because we were on a budget, but it was all so abundant, generous and tasty. Even the dessert platters that came with the meal were amazingly delicious. The space itself is luxurious and beautiful. We had the whole venue to ourselves and the whole thing was just magical.

As a wedding photographer I/ we work in many venues. However the Black Bear Golf Club stands out :) The grounds are amazing to shoot. It is so easy to just walk directly outside to stunning rolling hills and beautiful manicured golf course. Along with stunning spots to golf cart out and choose one of the many locations to take images at. The staff is very helpful and ambiance of the reception room along with fire pit gives it a private cozy feel :)

Where do we even begin?! North Shore House was a dream come true for our wedding. We only viewed 2 venues, this being the second, because as soon as we saw NSH we felt at home. Location: It felt like we were on vacation and not in New Jersey, it was so serene and special. Grounds were impeccable. Each season brings a different feel, even with a misty day it was striking with the flowers, antique gates, greenery, etc. Every time we visited off season there was some maintenance being done that just goes to show the love that gets put into it. The history behind the grounds was very interesting to us and we made sure to get a picture with their bar (originally imported from Brooklyn). They have beautifully decorated guest rooms with gorgeous bathrooms and a classy feel. They allowed us to pre-pick who would be given what room to avoid any drama. Our corner room was the newlywed suite and had the best view on the grounds, we felt so special! Service: NSH is a family owned business and they bring charm in everything they do. It was a pleasant surprise that throughout the process we met a new family member running different aspects - the kitchen/catering, grounds work, business/sales, etc! Throughout the experience (and especially day of) they would check in to make sure everything was to expectations. No wonder it felt like we were at home. We must call out that our day of coordinator, Samantha, was a literal dream to work with. She was light hearted, flexible, and felt like a friend helping you plan your day (without any of the drama that you might get working with family/friends :) professionalism was top notch). Special thanks to Eric as well that gave us the initial tour and supported our whole experience. Day Of: It was rainy and they waited until last minute to make the call if we would do outdoor ceremony. Thankfully it lightened up and they set up all the chairs within 30 mins of the start time so that the guests would not sit on soaking wet chairs. I loved how they met up with me (the bride) before the ceremony entrance which made me feel special. They had a bridal attendant Diana that was very friendly and brought us food, champagne, etc. Overall we are so happy we chose NSH to have our wedding. Everything had high attention to detail. The bride's father is a musician and has played hundreds of weddings and in general has high expectations - but he was very impressed with the grounds ("Spotless - you can tell they put in a lot of work") and the food ("This was real restaurant food, not wedding food"). Other family members continue to say how special of a wedding it was and how much they loved the historic Inn. It will always hold a special place in our heart - not only for our wedding, but for the first meeting of our parents, we reserved dinner there exactly 1 year from our date and enjoyed the ambiance, food, and service, getting us all so excited for the big day. Highly recommend this idea for other couples so you can picture what it will be like day of and get a different kind of tasting experience! We had the best day of our lives at the Madison Hotel! We actually found them through Zola, having never heard of them before. When we toured, we fell in love with the Conservatory, which is ultimately where we had our ceremony and reception. The day was amazing - the food was delicious (and there was so much of it!), the hotel was beautiful, and it was convenient having our guests onsite for all activities (like our after party). I only deducted one star due to communication; I felt like most of the communication was driven by us, such as scheduling our final venue walkthrough. Everyone was very helpful, but I would have liked a bit more communication as a type A planner. Other than that, we couldn’t have asked for a better celebration of our love.

We had our wedding at Grand Cascades in June 2022 and had such an amazing experience! Throughout the planning process we worked with Sarah, who was awesome all the way from planning the details, picking up the phone whenever I needed her, providing advice on anything I asked, and all the way through to the day of. She handled everything that came up with grace and kindness, even in tough family situations that arose. We chose CS Grand Cascades for a few key reasons (1) the amazing menu and presentation of the food (2) the beautiful ceremony, cocktail hour and reception spaces no matter rain or shine and (3) the value you get for your money. We also LOVED the fact that the hotel was on-site and we didn’t need to worry about transportation for ourselves or our guests throughout the day and afterwards. This provided SO many advantages, including access to the bridal suite all day and being able to take advantage of the hotel bar on-site for a causal after party without any extra cost to us. It is definitely an under-rated venue in NJ that we are SO happy we found! We were able to stick to our ideal budget while not comprising on quality of the event. I have been told by so many people how we threw the BEST wedding they’ve ever been to. The event staff is a well-oiled machine and truly think of everything to make your day the most special and seamless experience. Highly recommend to all future brides!!

Where do I even begin? We got married at the Grain House at the Olde Mill Inn on May 23, 2024, and it was nothing short of perfect. The entire wedding planning process was made easy thanks to everyone at the OldMill Inn and Grain House. They are very responsive, which is crucial when planning a wedding. My grandmother and grandfather had their wedding reception here back in 1957, so I knew I wanted to meet with them to discuss having my wedding there. It was the first and only venue we met with. After going on a tour and discussing the different packages with Lea, I was sold. They take care of your accommodations, catering, bar, cake, tables, chairs, etc. My wedding planning “to-do” list was cut in half! Everyone is so accommodating and they really work with you to make sure your day goes perfectly. So many guests told us how they never experienced wedding food to this level. Everything was DELICIOUS! Better yet, we actually got to eat as the bride and groom. The property itself is gorgeous. John was our Matre d’ and he was the best! He made sure we stayed on time, he ran food from the cocktail hour to me and my husband when we were taking photos, and he coordinated with our vendors so we didn’t have to worry. His efforts did not go unnoticed. Once again I had guests come up to me and tell me how amazing he is. I also had guests reach out after to tell me it was the best wedding they have ever been to. All of our vendors were fantastic but the Old Mill Inn and Grain House really did the bulk of the work to make it an unforgettable experience. The hotel itself was wonderful to stay in, everything was so clean and the breakfast was delicious. I wouldn’t change a thing about my wedding day, everything was perfect and I really have the Old Mill Inn and the Grain House to thank for that. I would recommend the Old Mill Inn and the GrainHouse to anyone planning a wedding. It really is the ONLY choice in my opinion. You will not be disappointed.

I am beyond satisfied with my wedding experience with Brooklake Country Club. We worked with Wendy and for 18 months, she guided us with her expertise and professionalism every step of the way. The venue only hosts one event at a time, so on the day of your event, the entire staff is working tirelessly to make YOUR day run as smoothly as possible. On the day of my wedding, I did not have to worry about a thing. My bridal attendant, Michelle, was absolutely phenomenal. From morning until night, she was there to make my experience so much easier so that I could truly enjoy every minute of the experience. Along with Wendy, our Maitre D Natalia kept the day running without a misstep. My parents raved about the level of service they received at their table, and all my guests complimented me on the quality of food served. The venue has breathtaking views that are perfect for pictures and can be enjoyed from anywhere on the grounds. I would absolutely recommend this venue for anyone looking to host a wedding or event there. Not only is it beautiful, but the staff are caring and efficient as well. I would highly recommended The Pond at Triplebrook! The grounds are extremely clean and well cared for. The cabins they offer for overnight guests are darling and extremely clean. Ozzy's and her staff were overtime to make sure our day was everything we wanted it to be. They even helped set out our decorations. I can't say enough great things about this place. Weddings are stressful and Ozzy tries her best to take as much pressure as possible. This place is gorgeous and I would do it all over again in a heartbeat.

Don’t overlook the Short Hills Hilton for your wedding! It was the perfect location for our big day, offering a central gathering spot where our guests didn’t have to worry about traveling throughout the day. We explored several traditional venues, but none felt as right as this one. We had a November wedding and didn’t expect to have an outdoor ceremony, but the hotel’s lovely patio space was a wonderful option, and surprisingly, the noise from the JFK Parkway wasn’t an issue. For our indoor ceremony, the venue features a permanent enclosed tent structure. At first glance, it didn’t seem like much, but with the help of the event coordinator Vivian Cohen’s help and coordination with our florist, the space was transformed into something breathtaking. The reception space was spacious and perfect for our 170 guests—large enough for everyone to feel comfortable but not so big that it felt empty. Guests still rave about the food and service! The chef and maître d' truly deserve all the praise. The hors d’oeuvres were diverse and delicious, from sliders to a pasta bar to sushi. We chose the salmon and short ribs for dinner, which we selected during a private tasting session. The hotel grounds, filled with foliage, were perfect for photos, especially as we were lucky to have beautiful fall colors for our shoot. Victoria at the Hilton was incredibly helpful with coordinating room blocks, hotel room gift bags, and storage. Vivian was a dream to work with—she was welcoming, communicative, and made everything run smoothly. Her checklist was a lifesaver for keeping track of details, and she was hands-on with day-of coordination, ensuring everyone knew where they needed to be and helping with the little touches that made everything perfect. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue or team to help make our wedding day unforgettable!

Alyssa was amazing - she was very prompt in returning our emails and phone calls, and was incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, Alyssa was extremely attentive and made sure I was ready for the ceremony, even helping to put my husband's boutonniere on correctly. I was very nervous right before walking down the aisle, but Alyssa was there to calm my nerves. Adele was also fantastic all night long - he made sure we had food and drinks during cocktail hour and was available to assist us with anything we needed. I never had to hesitate to ask Adele for help. The entire Bridgewater Manor team contributed to making our wedding day so special and stress-free. We cannot say enough amazing things about Bello Giorno Estate. The location of the estate is adjacent to a small river, which made for absolutely spectacular wedding photos. Think Secret Garden meets Italian Villa! We also loved the intimate feel of the banquet hall, which was the perfect fit for our wedding size. Our guests loved the food and service. Even though we planned our wedding remotely, working with Monica and Stephanie was incredibly easy, as they were very responsive to both email and phone calls. I recently hosted my wedding at The Skylands Manor and was absolutely blown away. From the moment of arrival, the level of care we received from the staff was warming. Maitre'd Linda went above and beyond to create the most seamless day possible. From the cocktail hour to the dinner reception, the food was absolutely DELISH! If you have the opportunity take advantage of the fresh mozzarella station. Beautiful presentation and unique fresh pulled mozzarella. I highly recommend Frungillo Hospitality Group as a catering vendor. There are not enough kind words and warm thanks I would give them!
