Texas Rock House is a labor of love. My grandparents built the house and barns in the 1940's as a working farm for their family. My mother was the youngest of seven children that grew up here. I grew up almost across the street with my mom (Joyce), daddy (Buddy), and brother (Larry). Larry and I spent almost every Friday night here - listening to his records on Grandma's old record player or sitting on the back porch swing counting the number of cars on the trains as they passed by. Our facility is located in a beautiful hill country community . The lake is only a few minutes away by car. Our facility hosts many events...indoor garage sales, community theater, blood drives, elections, graduation parties, weddings and much more. We provide tables and chairs in the rental fee, but we do also rent linens, china , silverware and more. You are welcome to have your favorite caterer come to utilize the kitchen (upon getting our application filled out and approved) and you can provide alcohol free to your guest after signing our alcohol release agreement. If you want an outdoor wedding, our gazebo in our courtyard is a perfect location. Then you can bring the party indoors for the band and air-condition!
