Avec West Loop's entire second floor is a dedicated private dining venue. This space draws from the warm, intimate design of avec’s main dining room with lots of wood, stoned wall paper and natural light. It’s the perfect location for a private, intimate gathering. The space features an open kitchen and private bar where cocktails and hors d'oeuvres may be served prior to groups being seated. We can accommodate 40 guests for a seated event and 60 guests for a reception style event.

This 7,500 square foot lofty gem is nestled in the heart of the West Loop. The architecture is both modern and tasteful, showcasing both Venetian plaster and exposed brick walls, alongside marble slab bars harmonizing texture with elegance. Each of its two floors is impeccably decorated equipped with a full bar. The main floor, located on the third floor of the building, features a commercial-grade kitchen. A non-alcoholic an/or spirits package can be included, featuring premium beers, wine, and liquor. Kuma's Catering works with multiple dessert vendors to create the perfect sweets table, if requested. Any dietary restrictions or preferences, from vegan, vegetarian and gluten free, can be accommodated. Additional rental items, such as, dishware, silverware, glassware & linens are all additional options based off of your needs. Full time and part time service staff and bartenders are hospitality professionals. If you do not need full service catering, delivery and set-up options are also available. Constructed in 1871 by Bavarian immigrant Philip H. Zorn Jr., Barrelhouse The Venue resides on the historic Zorn campus. As an annex to the brewery, Barrelhouse The Venue would manufacture beer barrels to house fresh beer prior to distribution around Northwest Indiana. Though unoccupied now, the original ice-house, brew-house, and malting building still stand across the street, a reminder of the dream Philip Zorn brought with him to America.
