“It was amazing working with Dan and Dana! We have been going to the restaurant for many years and have always loved the atmosphere, quality of food and the service. The staff is always so polite. This was the first time we booked a major event with them. We were so impressed with their professionalism and expertise. Dana, the coordinator, assured me to not stress over details because that was her job and she totally delivered on that promise. Dan is the owner and he actually married us in a really beautiful ceremony. We were all so pleased with how things turned out that my mom even booked her 60th birthday there 6 weeks after our wedding. We cannot say enough good things about the Public Landing!”

“CityGate Grille is THE hidden gem in Naperville! I have DJ'd several times at CityGate Grille and this is one of the few venues in the Chicagoland area that I will refer to my clients. Barb is extremely nice, professional, always has a smile on her face and is willing to go above and beyond to make sure that your wedding is absolutely perfect! The staff on the day of your wedding are timely, professional, courteous, and will stop at nothing to give you one of the best experiences of your life! Even at a vendor table, they treat you with respect and ask if there is anything we need - and, again, that's just at a VENDOR TABLE! Secondly, the space is beautiful! CityGate's lawn and patio ceremony areas are perfect! Confined to just your family and friends, there will be no worries of having random people walking by during your ceremony - which I personally love as your ceremony needs to be intimate between you, your spouse, and your guests. The actual reception space is gorgeous! Floor-to-ceiling windows looking out to the patio coupled with aesthetically-pleasing ceiling lights and bar with all of the fixin's for that perfect cocktail will keep you and your guests more than satisfied throughout your reception. Welcome to 223 Main! Located in the Heart of Downtown Lemont’s historical district, just three doors down from the Metra Station, 223 Main boasts a storied origin. Initially built in the 1900s as a double storefront, it transformed throughout the century into a department store, political office, coffee shop, and now an event space. 223 Main is owned and operated by a local Lemont couple, Hector and Lauren Tamayo. Hector grew up in Lemont and always loved the downtown area. At the beginning of 2020, the coffee shop leasing the space decided to close down. While brainstorming what the building could be next, the Covid-19 Pandemic hit. Lauren and Hector decided to cancel their destination wedding and remodel 223 Main. After having their intimate wedding at the building, they decided to officially launch 223 Main and open the space up to the community to enjoy.
