Today, nestled behind this early 1900's storefront, (we left the outside just the way we found it), you'll find Orlando's most unique event space imaginable. Some are calling it "The Hidden Hanger" and others, "The Speakeasy". We just call it 1010 WEST. Step through the old metal gates and you'll discover the rustic and industrial, yet warm environment of a space revitalized from a turn of the century airplane hangar. Speakeasies may no longer be illegal, but their hard-to-find entrances gives a sense of exhilaration when walking down a dimly lit alleyway and passing through nondescript gates into a subterranean world of tinkling glasses and spirited history of our hidden hangar.

Located in central Florida the 38 acres ranch is surrounded by oak trees with some incredible scenery for a perfect wedding or event. In the ranch we have the Legacy Barn, built in the 1900's in Georgia to accommodate the army and then moved to Florida, the barn was restored to keep its old charm but now has a state of the art commercial kitchen and audio and video equipment.Also we have our ceremony spot facing the sun set and many other picture perfect locations on the ranch, also horses and cows are on the property and make a great addition to your experience.

We are a family run venue for over 30 years. Our bridal loft is over 1400 square foot full of antiques. We offer receptions inside our air conditioned banquet hall or outside on our beautiful grounds. We have several different wedding sites to choose from and many beautiful photos opportunities . You can have a DIY wedding or an all inclusive wedding. Our goal is to give each couple their own unique wedding of their dreams.

We have a beautiful bridal cottage with seating for 16 guests. While the ladies are getting hair and make-up done in the bridal cottage, the groom and groomsmen can hang out in our unparalleled groom's room that sports a pool table, poker table and a bar. We have two shooting ranges and a pond for fishing. Our families have all day access to the farm leading up to the wedding and we include six hours for the event! The Sugar Barn is located on a 45-acre Ranch in Lake Wales, in Central Florida’s Polk County. The Whidden’s purchased the ranch in 2005 and have been developing the perfect location for your barn wedding, celebration, or corporate event. This unique venue is not an old converted barn but a beautiful new Montana Red Spruce structure with the warmth and character of a rustic setting, but with all the commercial amenities you need for a successful, comfortable, and elegant event. The barn has been built with soaring 45-foot ceilings and a stone fireplace, beautiful crystal chandeliers, a catering kitchen, and an oversized, 1200 sq ft bridal suite. Your guests will walk along the 120-foot bridge, across the stocked pond, to the Wild Orange ceremony location, which also features a restroom facility and a bachelor’s cottage. The orchard next to the barn grows sugar cane, thus lending to the name The Sugar Barn.
