Mr. Renner made the decision to keep the original industrial scale for weighing wool, which you can still see inside our front foyer. Our first batch of Manayunk Brewing Company beer was tapped on October 17, 1996. Since then, we have brewed more than 600 different varieties of beers, and have been selling these sought-after styles all around Philadelphia and New Jersey. Our brewers continue to explore new takes on classic styles, especially when it comes to sour ales and India Pale Ales. You will no doubt see our delivery truck bringing goods to happy customers throughout the Philadelphia region! Mr. Renner’s daughter took over the building in 2004 and runs the restaurant and brewery along with her business partner Mike Rose. Since then, they have expanded the restaurant by installing a stone pizza oven and sushi bar, as well as a chic banquet space for weddings and meetings. We’ve also begun to offer kayak tours along the adjacent Schuylkill River during the warm months.

We have held events that donate to charities that support victims of domestic abuse, animal foster groups and the troop of homeless Girl Scouts.

Celebrate your next occasion on the Navesink! Our Main Dining Room has spectacular views of the Navesink River through the large, fully functioning glass garage doors. This room can accommodate roughly 50-60 guests. The Rooftop River Room is a fully enclosed rooftop that offers nearly 360-degree views of the Navesink River. Similar to the Main Dining Room it features two solid glass garage doors that open, in addition to the two sliding glass doors on the right hand wall. This room can accommodate roughly 30 guests. The Turtle Room is located on our second floor, and accommodates 20 guests. This room boasts an upscale relaxing environment coupled with the benefits of a private space. And last, we have our Starfish Room, this room allows roughly 30 guests. The Starfish and Turtle room are connected to each other with private restrooms and a small bar located at the center of the room.

Antique long leaf heart pine, sourced from the Hudson Company and estimated to be between 300 and 600 years old, is repurposed for walls, tabletops and the uniquely designed bar with wrap-around seating. Lempert, inspired by 18th century scientific botanical engravings, collaborated with Flavor Paper to design wallpaper featuring the namesake Meadowsweet herb, and it’s seen throughout the restaurant in various iterations. Her photos, taken on the family’s property upstate, feature plants, vegetables and herbs and are also found throughout the restaurant. Bringing life to the space, a lofted mezzanine herb garden above the bar, which was created in collaboration with Brooklyn Grange, overlooks the dining room and features fresh rosemary, lemon thyme and mint, among others, used for cocktails.

Moxy Williamsburg opened last March and has five event venues on site: Bar Bedford Garden, The Studios, Lillistar, Jolene & Mesiba. All venues can host events / wedding festivities. On property, the max event we can have would be a standing reception on the rooftop in Lillistar of 300 guests. Our max seated wedding dinner would be in the Garden and we can fit up to 120 guests. Buying out F+K means a party for up to 100 guests, or 60 seated, but if you’re looking for something casual for a smaller group, we have The Parlor, a semi-private event room just off to the side of the main bar or The Studio, a fully private event space with a satellite bar upstairs. Established in 1992, Stage Left Steak creates seasonal, greenmarket-driven cuisines that are made from locally-sourced ingredients. With their combination of private rooms, couples can host events with up to 130 guests. For small, intimate events, the Wine Cellar features one long table. You and up to 20 of your loved ones will be surrounded by dark wood shelves filled with wine selections. Located on the main level is the Cloud Room, which can host up to 28 people next to breathtaking cloud details on the wall. Next door is the Gallery Room, for couples that want their prenuptial celebration in a colorful setting. This event space hosts work of arts by rotating artists. Its electric blue carpeting and reclaimed barn wood walls make for an eclectic, unforgettable evening. Both the Cloud & Gallery Room can be combined, to seat up to 75 guests.
