I have been in the hospitality business for over 16 years. I knew 2 years in that I wanted to focus on events and making memorable experiences for people. Over half of my hospitality career has been focused on catering and events. I truly love making connections with people and seeing their vision come to life with my help. My end goal was always to have my own business as I am truly passionate about events and absolutely love what I do.

Nicole (owner of Simply Beeutiful) was simply great. We came to her with a very specific vision for how we wanted our unconventional wedding ceremony and subsequent reception/celebration party to unfold. She was quick to pivot from the conventional routine and adapt to our vision. Her attention to even the smallest of details, her creative visions, and her execution were all keys to the successful outcome we realized. We would definitely recommend!

TRAIL BREAK taps + tacos

5.0

  • Caterer
  • Starts at $4,500
  • Serves Guild, NH

TRAIL BREAK found early and very quick success within the catering industry due to our casual yet professional approach to this business! We are a crew that clearly has fun at events (we'd have to given that we roll up with a giant, bright, plaid-wrapped trailer). We are an LGBTQ-friendly company that focuses on providing the highest VALUE for ALL of our clients.

Trail Break was AMAZING for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Topher was extremely responsive and helpful during the planning process, even helping us find our rehearsal dinner location. Trail Break made our entire Friday night special and unique. First, the food is amazing and we received a ton of compliments from guests. Second, the drinks and service were also outstanding. Drinks were set and ready to go so guests didn’t have to wait too long. Third, the staff is so friendly and helpful. They made our Friday night seamless and special. We actually ended up going back to Trail Break two days after our wedding for another meal! The food is terrific. All around 6/5 star experience (if I could give it that rating). You will not be disappointed with Trail Break!

We have planned all different events ranging from birthdays, to showers, to reunions, to weddings, to holiday parties, and more. Our vision is your style and our goal is to turn those small moments into everlasting memories!

Awarded Best of Zola
My husband and I worked with Britny from Beautiful & Timeless Events for our wedding in September 2022, and we can't recommend her services enough! Britny helped us with our overall wedding plan, budgeting, vendor selection and management, and decor. She supported us through every step of the planning process and was even with us on our special day as our Day of Coordinator. We had a vision of what our big day would look like, but early on in the process we realized we were having trouble bringing that vision to life. Britny was able to help us create a plan from our vision and helped us execute that plan, all while staying within our budget. One thing I really appreciated about Britny is that through our early conversations, she was able to figure out what aspects of our day were most important to us. From there, she showed us what parts of our budget were worth spending money on and where we could cut our budget back. When it came to Day of Coordination and scheduling, we relied heavily on Britny's services. She knew how important it was to us to relax and enjoy our special day, and that we wanted as much time on the dance floor with our guests as possible. Not only did Britny make our entire Day of Schedule, she managed our vendors and bridal party day of, and miraculously kept us ahead of schedule which meant more time on the dance floor for us. Having Britny with us on our wedding day allowed us to truly be in the moment and made it stress-free. Britny was organized, professional, fun, and a pleasure to work with!

Husband and wife duo, The Poor Cousins, combine intimate, nourishing songs and gutsy tunes in an easy-going style. The duo performs various styles including classical, popular tunes, and American, Irish and all Celtic fiddle music. In addition to playing at many weddings and events in the New York City / New England area the duo have performed in many countries around the world, both together and separately.

Awarded Best of Zola
We had Emmet and Naomi for our indoor December wedding, the venue was a log cabin style lodge. They were a perfect match and we were so glad we chose them. They learned one of our favorite songs for the opening to our ceremony, playing a beautiful instrumental version of it. Our guests loved the music, that it was accessible for everyone, young and old alike. We had toddlers dancing in front of the band, but the guests seated closest to the band during dinner could still carry on a conversation easily. A lot of people really appreciated this, that they could add ambiance and energy without overpowering you. We especially want to thank them for traveling through the blizzard conditions to be there that weekend. We were hoping for a snowy winter wedding, and we got all the snow we could handle that weekend! The Poor Cousins really helped everything come together for us, and we would absolutely recommend them to anybody!

My now husband and I have always loved the AMC and we had been to Cardigan before and we knew it was a special place. The AMC is an awesome organization that makes the outdoors accessible to many people in New England. Even if that wasn't true, this would have been the best venue because the setting is so gorgeous. We rented the lodge from Friday-Sunday and had 60 guests stay in bunkbeds with us at the lodge on Friday and Saturday nights. The AMC staff made delicious food that met the dietary restrictions of all our guests. They let us set up all over the property and turn the forest into our dream ceremony location. We even cold plunged in the pond! I would do all of this again, it was just right for our crew.

Wedding Pro DJ's

4.7

  • DJ
  • Starts at $2,000
  • Serves Guild, NH

Club trained with over 1000 Weddings experience, there's no one better to make the formal parts of your day great and then keep your dance floor LIT. My mantra: 'I Make It So Good No One Wants The Day To End'

The DJ was the thing that I didn't want to worry about on our special day, and I have to admit I was slightly underwhelmed by Wedding Pro DJS. Robert, the man who owns WPDJs, was initially very communicative and enthusiastic but after a couple months of him being booked his communication completely stopped. Roughly a MONTH before the wedding he told me he was having an impromptu hip replacement. I get that these things happen but I wasn't born yesterday and I think there was an opportunity to let me know prior to a month before. He assured us that his replacement was top tier and that he djd his own wedding, and his replacement was indeed a very nice guy, but on the day of the wedding during the reception there was a LOT of feedback from the mics during peoples speeches which actually led to us completely losing audio recording from the best man. Super bummer. You just don't expect things like that from professionals. I'm sure this was a one off but I probably wouldn't book them again.

Chris is the best to work with. He gave us a reasonable price and delivered exactly what he promised. He was professional, punctual, and really added to the atmosphere of our wedding. He even did an acoustic live set during our cocktail hour! If I ever need a DJ for a future event, he’s my first call.

Plymouth, NH

  • Up to 180 guests

The first Common Man Restaurant opened in Ashland, NH in 1971. In the summer of ’72, we catered our first uncommon event. More than 50 years later, we offer 17 event venues in five locations across the state. We’ve catered to countless happy brides, local businesses, proud parents, raucous best men, bridesmaids, and delighted friends. We’ve planned perfect roasts, showers, BBQs, fundraisers, anniversaries, parties, dinners, and weddings. Our success is built on recognizing that your special event is just that, a special point in time. Our friendly, experienced catering team remains true to that understanding and is devoted to helping you realize exactly what you have in mind. We’ve renovated the event halls at The Common Man Inn & Spa in Plymouth and opened The Nest, a cozy event space at Common Man Ashland. We’re excited to host events at The Barn on the Pemi, our rustic event barn located in Plymouth, accommodating up to 300 guests with views of the mountains and Pemi river.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Multiple event spaces
  • Allows pets

Venue considerations

  • On-site parking not available
  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • No dedicated areas for getting ready
My husband and I got married at the Barn on the Pemi on 5/31/24, which works closely with the Common Man Inn & Spa. We had our room block, rehearsal dinner, and after party at the Inn, but I'm here to rave about our experience with the Spa! After booking our venue, I spoke to the Inn about any accommodations or recommendations they might have for somewhere for myself and my bridesmaids to get ready the morning of the wedding. They actually have what they affectionately call the "Getting Ready Room," which can be reserved ahead of time. I saw some pictures, saw that the room had some nice natural light, floor to ceiling mirrors and salon chairs, so I figured it was our best bet. Come wedding week and I went down to the spa with my bridesmaid to see the room and the pictures definitely did not do it justice! The room is large with a sitting area with a couch, table and chairs in the middle and salon-style chairs and mirrors around the perimeter. Our hair and makeup stylists were THRILLED with the setup, since they are used to cramped, poorly-lit hotel rooms for wedding prep! I will let the pictures speak for themselves, but want to add one more thing. The night before the wedding, one of my nails (done at a salon back home) broke and popped off - nightmare! I kept the broken piece and brought it to the Spa the morning of the wedding to see if they could help. The Spa staff went above and beyond to make sure my nails looked perfect. One of their nail techs sat in front of my while I was having my makeup done, glued the nail piece back on, and put a top layer of the. white french tip and clear coat shellac over all of my nails to make sure they all looked the same. I would highly recommend the Spa Getting Ready Room for the morning of your wedding - the space and the staff are fantastic!

Wow…. I just re-watched the video for at least the 99th time and it still makes my heart glow. Alex this is amazing and we are so lucky to have found you. We went back and forth about a videographer for a little bit as I am sure most people do. We chose to do it because of our daughter, we shared that with Alex and he captured it so beautifully. I don’t regret having film one bit, and I know everyone says that so why? I feel like I re-live my wedding each and every time I watch this 2:46 highlight and as stated above I have watched it at least 99 times... And because the 1.5 hours of raw footage was included, I actually get to relive my wedding, all the sound and candid conversations that I would have never remembered (some more embarrassing then others lol)… So yea I expected the video to be special, but it is hard to explain just how special it truly is. From the very beginning we were impressed by Alex’s talent to capture beautiful moments and angles that highlight the romance. And wow did he do that. Alex, we both loved working with you during the wedding and we absolutely treasure your final product. Thank you for capturing all the feels of our magical day - we will cherish it for the rest of our lives. Cheers, The Ziegler’s

The venue itself had a beautiful view and was easy to host our entire family. Sally Carpenter Photography

5.0

  • Photographer
  • Fine art style
  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Guild, NH

I have been a serious and successful photographer in the portrait, wedding and fine art fields for over twenty years and while working in London, I was awarded a distinction by The Royal Photographic Society for my documentary portraits. I have also been awarded several merits of distinction and photography awards in the USA. Educated as an artist and photographer through The Brooks Institute of Photography, I was also fortunate enough to study under the late Ansel Adams and attended intensive workshops given by the top wedding photographers in the world including Jerry Ghionis, Parker Pfister, Brook Shaden, Cliff Mautner and Paulina Duczman.

There are simply no words to describe how phenomenal Sally was. We searched far and wide for a photographer who really understood what we wanted- nothing cheesy, just authentic pictures that captured our love. And boy did Sally do that! She stepped up without question when our original plans were thwarted by COVID and drove 2 hours to capture our elopement. The pictures were beyond perfect and Sally was such a pleasure to work with! We can’t wait for next year when we get to work with her for again for our reception!

  • Florist
  • Starts at $6,000
  • Serves Guild, NH

We are an independent floral design studio based in Littleton, New Hampshire. We provide exceptional floral and styling services to brides and their planners throughout Northern New England. Our goal is to translate your vision into the perfect wedding day- one that you will remember forever. Each bouquet, arrangement, floral installation and décor detail is created with fresh, beautiful, in-seasonal flowers with an artful and passionate expert design hands.

Flowers are so important to me and I knew from the beginning what my vision was. A little background I am from MA and my wedding was held in Whitefield NH so I had to do ALOT of researching to find my vendors. I searched for floral shops in the area and stumbled across Emily's page and I couldn't be more happy I did!!! Emily is a pleasure to work with and so thorough. She is so easy to talk to and truly loves her work you can tell by her excitement when discussing your project and the final product. Every time we talked I hung up feeling confident about the conversation, which may seem strange to say but during the wedding planning process you would be surprised at how many conversations you have that end and just dont sit right. After we chatted a bit and I sent her my inspiration pictures she sent me back the contact and my goodness even that was beautiful! Now I am a type A personality so I am very organized and thorough myself but let me tell you that contract was excellent. It listed the flowers she intended to use and my color pallet etc. When you see it you'll know! She completely understood what I wanted every suggestion she made was right on track with my taste. I LOVE how she uses different kinds of plants and flowers and just puts it all together and your bouquet becomes an actual work of art. I was speechless when she brought them in they were better them I could have imagined they were PERFECT! Make your life simple and have Emily make your wedding perfect with her flowers and personality you will not be disappointed!!!!

Vintage and Blooms

5.0

  • Florist
  • Starts at $1,000
  • Serves Guild, NH

My name is Jennifer. I am the owner of Vintage and Blooms. I started this arranging bouquets and selling them outside a bakery during the pandemic. Week after week sales grew. As time went on I was able to open a storefront. My floral adventure has brought me to work with some amazing clients. Each client has their own style, budget and vibe of their own. This is what makes this job so exciting. There's always something new and exciting waiting to be created!

From the moment we connected with Vintage and Blooms, we knew we were in good hands. Jenn, the owner, was so committed, simple, and easy to connect with, making the entire process a breeze. Her understanding of our vision was evident in the elegant, vintage-inspired florals she created, which were truly breathtaking and set the perfect vibe for our special day. Jenn went above and beyond, including several thoughtful additives that made our ceremony and reception even more memorable for us and our guests. We are so grateful to Vintage and Blooms for helping to make our wedding day truly unforgettable.

Something Borrowed Blooms

4.9

  • Florist
  • Starts at $250
  • Serves Guild, NH

Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. We offer brides the expensive peonies, delicate ranunculus, out-of-season anemones, and the ever-impossible-to-find-magnolia — all at a fraction of the cost.

The process of using something borrowed blooms was so easy. I loved that the flowers could be reused and that I wasn't going to spend thousands of dollars on flowers that would just be thrown away! They included the return label in the box with the flowers they shipped out, which was great because we did not have a printer at our destination wedding. All of our flowers were fake because I was also worried about the heat wilting our flowers. I only rented bouquets, boutonnieres, corsages and a dog collar- but I wish I had rented my centerpieces as well! Amazing experience with SBB all around!
