Had one of the greatest times of our lives staying at the Grace River Island Resort for our November Wedding! We booked for November 22nd - 25th and from the moment we arrive we were in awe of how breath taking the location was, just like the first time we saw it a year prior. Mike, Karen, and Skye were very attentive to our questions and needs, and everything was ready for us upon our arrival. All the amenities they provided were clean and fresh, ready for us to use, shout out to the cleaning crew! There was plenty of room for our wedding party of 20, and we spent four amazing days making wonderful memories with our family and friends. The sunsets here were truly magical, as we would often gather at the dock to take in the view and spend most of the nights cozy around the firepit. On the day of the wedding, their team helped set up tables, worked alongside the vendors, and were extremely professional throughout the day. I'll be forever grateful that Skye came out with a tray of food for me and my husband, thanks to her we could actually taste all of our catering menu while we were in the process of taking photos and videos! The hospitality that was shown to us by the Grace River Island team was impeccable and they truly made our stay there one we shall never forget. Tween Waters was an absolute dream. We had our wedding on the beach (5:30 PM) and reception (6:00-10:00 PM) in the Wakefield Room. Logistically, it was so nice to have everything, including lodging, on the same property. It cut down transportation time between venues like other weddings I've been to. We structured our wedding day so that the entire morning, we spent time with our loved ones at the beach, and got meals with family on site which was so relaxing and fun. We wanted our wedding to feel like a family vacation and Tween helped us achieve everything. We worked with Debra who is beyond amazing. She made sure we had everything we needed and worked above and beyond to ensure our day was incredible. All of the guests raved about the food and desserts. We opted to get a spread of Tween's desserts instead of a wedding cake because we love having options and are so glad we went that route. Tween is also extremely detail-oriented, especially if you have guests with food allergies. Our guests who stayed on the property had an absolute blast, and many of them now want to make Tween a part of their family vacations. Tween has many different package options that are customizable depending on your guest count and preferences. Getting ready in an ocean-facing cottage was out of this world amazing and relaxing. Staying on the property allowed flexibility in my outfit change and was able to rinse the sand off our feet before the reception. We were also able to get amazing sunset photographs in my second outfit. Our only regret is that we wish we had extended our stay by a few days after the wedding. We didn't want to leave!

We cannot stop raving about the venue and staff at the Sarasota Art Museum! From the Director to the volunteers, everyone was so friendly, helpful, and hard working. This occurred from our initial consultation and fact-finding inquiries and visits. This continued through the planning and implementation process of our event! Never did I ever imagine how smooth everything would go. Laura always provided the details and clarification of anything that I may have missed or just needed additional information on and the security staff worked efficiently to make sure we were able to store necessary items in a safe location for before and after our event. Carolyn and her kitchen/catering staff with Constellations Catering Group were phenomenal! We do not say this lightly! Carolyn was super communicative and at any point and time was able to be reached quickly when needed. I have never met a friendlier more down to earth person while still making sure that the business needs are still addressed professionally and promptly. THANK YOU CAROLYN! From A to Z, the food and service were superb and on point. The Kitchen and catering staff are highly recommended. They catered to our every need and the food is the best that I have ever experienced in my 30 years of attending business and personal events. We continue to get raving compliments from our guests about the wonderful service and simply delicious food that we enjoyed during our event on 04/20/2024! Thank you again to the entire Team! Rustic Elegance at its finest. Includes two 12x12 air-conditioned changing rooms, two handicap accessible restrooms, outdoor dance floor, fire pit, ceremony site with bench seating, and tables and chairs for up to 150 people. $3,100 June-September, and $4,100 for October-May. This is for a three-day package. The day before for setup, decorating and the rehearsal, the day of, and the day after for cleanup.

Oaks of Devonaire is not only a beautiful venue at an incredibly reasonable price point (hands down the best in the area for 3 days!), but the venue owners truly are so kind and accommodating! There are many locations for portraits and all are stunning! I can't wait to capture many more love stories at Oaks of Devonaire.

On the day, the staff's professionalism shone through as they set up everything exactly as we wanted, allowing us to relax and enjoy the beautiful, spacious, and inviting space. Powel Crosley built the Florida winter home for his wife, Gwendolyn, in 1929. The two-and-a-half-story Mediterranean mansion was built in the southwest corner of Bradenton on a 60-acre parcel of land on Sarasota Bay adjacent to the John Ringling Estate. The 11,000-square-foot home has 21 rooms and 10 baths, and an adjacent carriage house has room for three cars and servants' quarters on the second floor. Originally the mansion had a swimming pool, a seaplane dock and yacht basin. The home featured many innovations for its time, including a steel frame encased in cast stone, embedded pipes and wiring, and a 135-day construction schedule. Placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1982, Seagate was saved from commercial development and purchased for renovation by Manatee County, which operates it as a meeting, conference and event venue.

We were so lucky with weather and the sunset, the night was absolutely amazing! Our wedding date was November 12. We had the ceremony on the beach and then the reception was under the pavilion. We decorated mainly with string lights and the vibe was everything I wanted for an island beach wedding. Molly helped us plan and Jess was our day of coordinator, both did an excellent job. Nothing major went wrong and Jess helped keep everything on track. The only real downside was the guests have to use the bathrooms that are inside the restaurant.
