We fell in love with this venue the moment we drove up the road. My husband and I grew up in NJ, live in Brooklyn, and were looking for a venue that felt like a nature retreat while still being accessible for our friends and family. Milford is a great town just down the road and the hotels are so close too. Linnea and Alec were so communicative and helpful with the endless lists of questions we sent them. We cannot thank them enough for setting the stage for the weekend - and I'm just so impressed with how seamless and easy it felt to use their venue. We were struck just by the beauty of the whole property. It's absolutely marvelous! We were surrounded by charming little bunnies and butterflies the whole weekend. We took advantage of the place for the whole weekend - a Friday night pizza truck party, multiple pool and hot tub hangouts, and a Sunday bagel brunch in the barn. Everybody was raving about the barn, farmhouse, and cottage. The sunset during the reception created a great atmosphere for our guests to congregate and enjoy the lawn. We felt right at home and it made our wedding so incredibly special.

We were so pleased with our wedding at Stroudsmoor Country Inn. The venue staff were friendly, responded to emails and calls in a very timely manner, and kept communications concise and helpful leading up to the big day. For the Poconos area, we found Stroudsmoor to be very affordable for both the ceremony and reception. The food was fantastic - all of our guests raved about it! The servers were also excellent, very professional and attentive throughout the evening. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day. From the beautiful grounds to the delicious food to the wonderful staff, Stroudsmoor really helped make our wedding reception a huge success.

Ashley and the chef, who I believe is her husband, go above and beyond to ensure the food quality is exceptional. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful the inside of the venue was! The building is absolutely stunning, and it provided the most gorgeous backdrop for our photos. One of my favorite moments was walking into the reception and seeing our family and friends all around the venue, especially upstairs on the second floor—it was such a cool, unique experience. The staff was incredibly helpful, and we are so grateful for their hard work. The pricing is also fantastic—it’s straightforward, includes so much, and is truly a great value for what you get. Even though we traveled from outside of Philadelphia, I’m originally from the Pittston area, and it was well worth the trip! I would absolutely book this venue again for future events if I’m having them in the area. We couldn’t recommend this venue enough. We are SO grateful to Camp Lindenmere for having the most beautiful venue and the most supportive, helpful staff! I knew I wanted a camp wedding from day 1 of planning, but most camps require a lot of DIY. Kyle, Elliot and staff are SO on top of planning ,guest bookings, timelines, day of coordination, doing all the set up (I mean we literally brought in our mug favors and they put the little “thank you” tags on, they put batteries in our taper candles, etc. I swear they don’t say no.) The food all weekend was incredible, the drinks were flowing (my husband and I were CRAVING the ribs we had at the reception for a full week after). Our guests were really pleasantly surprised at the “country club” feel of the summer camp - staff is always around on golf carts to escort guests as needed, there’s even a beer golf cart going around on Saturday. The waterfront was beautiful, everyone got a kick out of the high ropes course, people were playing volleyball under the lights all hours of the night. They told us the after-party would end at 1:30 but we were partying til 3:30 and no one was kicking us out. I’m trying to convince everyone I know to get married here so I can come back as a guest!

We had a Fall wedding at Seminary Hill and I couldn't recommend this venue more! The view is STUNNING. The house is perfect. The guest house is an absolute bonus (we invited close friends to stay next door). And the folks at Seminary Hill are a pleasure to work with, especially the property manager Bill. He was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. He helped us wrangle vendors before the wedding, he helped with setup and when any issues arose the day before, and he was just all-around a pleasure to work with. He made our experience so enjoyable and he was also instrumental to ensuring the weekend ran smoothly. We really couldn't recommend this venue more.

We knew that the North Shore House would be our wedding venue from the moment we walked in for the first time. We fell in love right away with how beautiful it is, both inside and especially outside by the lake. We were already convinced by that alone, then we met Eric, Kelly, Emma, and the rest of the staff who were so kind, professional, accommodating, and wonderful to work with that we were even more certain. We then went for a food tasting and were blown away. The food is amazing. (Don’t just book a wedding there for the food, go to the tavern and have dinner there. You’ll be glad you did.) Every single aspect of the planning from day one was made so easy by the staff. They made us feel special, like we were their most important clients ever. The people there are just absolutely the best, that can’t be emphasized enough. Then there’s the venue itself. The grounds outside by the lake where our ceremony and cocktail hour were are absolutely gorgeous. It’s all very well kept and you won’t find a more beautiful spot to get married. Inside where we had the reception has all been refinished and is just stunning. We loved the atmosphere and the vibe of the whole place. It’s not glitz and glamour, it’s classy and elegant and perfect. There are also a dozen or so rooms on the second and third floors, which we loved because we were able to stay the night with our family and friends after the wedding. The rooms are all refinished recently too and are equally beautiful. Let’s talk food. We did all night hors d'oeuvres rather than a traditional dinner, and the food was amazing. There was passed food as well as stations, and never a shortage. Everyone there said the food was great, zero complaints. There was so much, I couldn’t possibly list everything we had so I won’t even try. But it was SO. GOOD. If you’re thinking that maybe this is your kind of place for your wedding, don’t even think twice about it. There is no maybe. It’s definitely the place. We can’t thank the staff enough for everything they all did to make our wedding perfect. We love that we can even go back, eat at the tavern, and book a room for an anniversary perhaps. We couldn’t be happier that we chose The North Shore house!

Cedar Lakes Estate is a slice of heaven on earth. I have had the pleasure of working with Cedar Lakes Estate for the last 5-6 years. Everything that the CLE team does is done with the intention of creating the most magical + memorable experience for their guests. They always put their best foot forward and understand what it takes to produce flawless events. So where do I begin? Food + Beverage: Their delicious food will melt in your mouth and will blow your mind. One of the things that I appreciate about their menus is that it is the farthest from wedding catering. It is so good that I have used them in NYC for events and weddings. Their culinary skills are sharp and they do what they do really, really well. Their menus are approachable but their flavor profiles + presentation are high end. CLE Team: One of my favorite things and strongest asset of CLE is their staff and team. Their serving staff is trained in house and are not random cater waiters. Their staff takes extreme pride in what they do each day and weekend and you can tell. They are invested in the client and in the brand which translates in everything they touch and do. From their management team all the way through to their housekeeping staff their team's hospitality + hard work is consistent. As a planner It's wonderful peace of mind. The Grounds: I like to say that CLE is the Disneyland of wedding venues and each year it gets better and better. I love being able to create unique and personalized events with my couples at CLE because the options are endless when producing an eventful wedding weekend. It doesn't matter what season your event is, there is always something to do for everyone. Accommodations: I mean...they are dreamy! It is such a treat to be able to host so many guests on a property. It changes the dynamic of a wedding weekend when you have the ability to host a large portion of your family and friends onsite. It makes it so much more fun + memorable! Not only are the accommodations comfortable, they are styled beautifully and allow guests to feel like it is a home away from home. The value that you receive from hosting an event or wedding at Cedar Lakes Estate is priceless. Your guests and family will talk about it forever and ever! I know because I have lovely reunions with some of my couples yearly at their dinner series they host. It is a special place and you will know as soon as you step foot onto their property!

Handsome Hollow is a truly rare place. This new Catskill Mountains Barn venue is on 93 stunning acres of meadows, forests, streams, and mountains. The meticulously restored 18th-century English barn is 4,200 sf and includes two finished bathrooms, a catering area, and a 1000 sf bluestone cocktail patio. The rental of the Handsome Hollow venue also includes two nights for six in the elegantly restored 19th-century farmhouse. We are proud to have been featured in Brides, Martha Stewart Weddings, and NY Magazine.

Having our wedding at Handsome Hollow was an absolute dream. Kate and her team are professional, thorough, and beyond helpful before and on the day of the wedding. The location and grounds are stunning! We chose to have our ceremony in the fern forest a little ways up from the barn - it's like walking into a fairytale. The barn is a beautiful reception space that's open, inviting, and even more magical after sunset under the glowing string lights! We had a few guests including a couple of our family members who required assistance walking at certain times, but that was not a problem at all... The team communicates like special special forces to make sure everyone is comfortable and anyone requiring assistance gets shuttled swiftly by an off road buggy wherever they need to go! We also got shuttled as Bride & Groom does have it's privelages :) It was such a relief to know everyone was taken care of. Staying in the guest house was fantastic. The morning of the wedding I got ready upstairs in the barn loft, while my wife had the farmhouse the with hair/makeup and all of that. It's such a cute house, and was so nice to not have any traveling before our big day. Everything you would need is stocked at the farmhouse and help always seemed readily available if needed. It was just the relaxed easy going atmosphere we needed to chill out as much as possible before the wedding. There are so many great nooks and places for photo ops at Handsome Hollow! For a summer day it wasn't too hot at all, maybe the elevation helps a bit with that! It was warm before the ceremony when we took some photos in the sun, but we just cooled down in the farmhouse afterwards. The ceremony in the fern garden was under cover of trees so it was perfectly cool (both temperature and vibes!) The barn just seems to stay cool also, so that was no issue at all. We didn't get a chance to eat our desserts, so the team brought them up to the farmhouse for us to enjoy after the wedding was over. It's that level of hospitality, and so appreciated. My only regret is that I couldn't split myself into two people so I could not only get married, but also see the food buffet, see the s'mores by the campfire, watch our first dance (we nailed it!!). Luckily we had a phenomenal wedding planner (Lauren / Wild Blooms Bridal), and phenomenal photographer (Joshua Brown) to compliment the venue! It was truly an amazing day, and we can't thank you enough. You cannot go wrong with Handsome Hollow!!!

This was our first time at Crossed Keys Estate, and from the moment we did our research, we knew we were in for something special. The estate’s 30 acres of history, with stunning gardens, towering 200-year-old trees, and a charming farmhouse, provide the perfect mix of modern and rustic elegance. One of our favorite aspects? The venue hosts just one wedding a day, so all the attention and resources are devoted to the couple—a huge plus for creating a seamless experience. From the beginning, Erika and Jeremy were so laid-back and excited to enjoy their day. The preparation spaces were perfect—the girls had a beautiful rustic farmhouse, while the guys had a spacious house just down the gravel road, complete with a golf green for a little fun before the festivities. We love incorporating multiple, and Crossed Keys Estate offered the perfect backdrop for each one. From the emotional bridesmaids' reveal to the heartwarming first look between Erika and her dad (we could feel the intensity of the moment from the sidelines), and finally, the groom's first look on the picturesque grounds—it was magical. The estate’s swing under the giant tree and the intimate reflection pond were standout spots for capturing stunning couple photos, tucked away from the crowd. The reception space was equally amazing. The modern hall, with floor-to-ceiling windows, allowed gorgeous natural light to flood the room, making for a perfect backdrop for the celebration and the sweetheart table. Working with Katrina, the Senior Venue Coordinator, was a breeze. Every request the couple had was thoroughly listened to, and the venue made sure the day flowed effortlessly for everyone involved. Everything was timed perfectly, the florals (created by the venue!) were stunning, and the food was exquisite. Every detail was executed flawlessly, ensuring the couple and their guests could enjoy the day without a single hiccup. Now that we’ve experienced Crossed Keys Estate firsthand, we can’t wait to return! Our creativity was sparked by the newness of the venue, but we’re also excited to bring that knowledge back for future weddings. Erika and Jeremy’s wedding was a perfect day, and we look forward to more love stories at this beautiful estate.

We could not have picked a better venue for our wedding. The Arnold House encompasses everything we wanted for our wedding weekend - the charm and warmth of the Catskills, a low maintenance energy with high quality offerings, and a versatile venue where each space felt uniquely different (even if we had to use the same room twice...cue cold weather and rain!) to make each night feel like its own unique experience and special moment. Working with the Arnold House: From the start, they were so flexible on making sure that what was important to us worked. For example, we had preferences on specific food and wines and the AH team made it so easy to swap (and even source!) what we wanted. This team has an incredible ability to transform each space into a beautiful one, from the spreads they put out, the greenery they pick as decor, the furniture they arrange, and all the small touches in between that matter...we are so impressed. Additionally, they were helpful to make our guest experience the best possible - accommodating special requests and just generally being warm and inviting people. Lastly, the Arnold House itself is always continuing to add and improve their offerings. So we were met with nice surprises throughout our wedding planning process. For example we got to benefit from new chairs and dinner tables, something we no longer had to think about renting. The Space and Food: Wow! Our band and dance party in the greenhouse was pure magic. And our sit down dinner in the barn was beautiful and romantic. At first we were a bit concerned about having the dance party in a separate room from dinner - but it worked out really well and actually was nice to let those who wanted to dance, dance, and those who wanted to sit and chat be able to easily do that too. We didn’t get to eat much (even though we swore we wouldn’t be those people) but our guests all said the food was great and we can say for certain that we loved the burrata, oysters, trout drip, flank steak, and pumpkin pie!! Friday was intimate and inviting in Shandelee Hall/the Sun Room with the fire burning and the wine flowing. Wood fired pizzas were perfect. The Tavern: It’s own unique experience and space - unique from everywhere else on the property. Pool table and “divey-ish” vibes - a perfect setting for junk food and afterparty. Sunday brunch was simply gorgeous in the greenhouse. Food was simple, but good, and displayed beautifully. Overall: As you can tell from this being the first review, this place feels like a really well kept secret. Having now had our wedding here, we want to shout how great the Arnold House is from the rooftop. If you’re reading this right now, trust us… make the call and visit the Arnold House! Emily and the whole team were fantastic and made our weekend feel really special. The Arnold House will always have a special place in our hearts. It is a stunning location with spectacular views - perfect for intimate events, and boasts a rustic, yet charming feel. The venue can host up to 150 guests, but personally, I'd cap in the ball park, give or take, around 135. My wedding had just shy of 100 people and the day couldn't have been more perfect 3. The coordinator I requested/was assigned (in the months leading up to our event), Silje, and our maitre'd on the day of, Marc, were both fantastic to work with! They truly made sure the vision we had for the day was exactly what we wanted it to be!

Our wedding day was absolutely perfect thanks to Hildegard and the SkyView staff! We planned our wedding less than a year out, and Hildegard was very accommodating and very responsive throughout the planning process - she was truly a pleasure to work with. On wedding day, we also had Jenn and Iwan helping out to make sure the day ran smoothly. We did our ceremony off-site so we cannot speak on that, but our cocktail hour and reception were absolutely awesome! We still have guests raving about how good the food was and how beautiful the venue and grounds are. You definitely get the best value for your money in terms of northern NJ wedding venues, and we couldn't recommend SkyView enough!
