My husband and I cannot stop talking about how perfect our wedding day was. The staff at the Riverview are amazing!!! They went above and beyond to make sure we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Our guests also could not say enough about how delicious the food was and how the drinks kept flowing all night long. Chelsea was our wedding coordinator and she took care of everything and stayed in constant communication with us throughout the whole process. We are so beyond grateful for the Riverview and highly recommend this venue. You will not regret it!

Here at Tunxis, we offer two unique wedding venues:  First is the outdoor Pavilion that you will find nestled in a pine grove.  Spring through Fall, this outdoor escape is perfect for your rustic wedding with up to 300 guests.  The second is the indoor Fireside Dining Room.  Year-round, this cozy tavern space is ideal for weddings with up to 120 guests. 

We had such a wonderful experience at Tunxis. From multiple planning meetings to the tasting, to emails back and forth prior to the wedding day, they were always super responsive and helpful. Ashley was fantastic- she made sure everything was taken care of and organized. She wrangled everyone so everyone was always where they needed to be. And she perfectly arranged all of our decor- it was exactly how I had pictured it in my head! The food was great, the venue was beautiful, and all of our guests were commenting on how wonderful it was. Truly grateful for such an amazing place and team!

We had a wedding reception/party in the Green Room recently for around 85 people and it was AMAZING! TJ, Christine and the team were so easy going and awesome to work with. They thought of every detail and were on-site to ensure everything ran smoothly. The food was PHENOMENAL! We did the pass around hor d'oeuvres, the pizza package and the Gatos Tacos. Everyone absolutely loved it! Our guests are still talking about it! P.S. - Don't sleep on those mini grilled cheeses for the pass arounds - like OMG! The drinks were obviously great as well. If you haven't been to New Park, go and drink up! You won't regret it! Not a beer drinker? They have a full bar in their event space! Great for any type of drinker. They even had NA beer too for the non-drinkers. I highly recommend New Park for any of your event needs! They are the BEST!!

We could not have chosen a better venue for our wedding. Amanda, Matt, Hanna, Casey, and all of the staff at the Log Cabin helped to make our wedding day as perfect as it could possibly be. They made the planning process so as smoothly and stress free as possible. Our day of coordinator Matt and his team helped to take every ounce of pressure off our shoulders the day of so that we could truly immerse ourselves in our guests and our experience. Everyone we worked with, especially Matt and Amanda, were professional, knowledgeable, kind, and fun! Matt and our head waitress Hanna even made it out on the dance floor with us.. I mean come on!! It can’t get much better than that. The interior and back exterior of the venue is what dreams are made of. The ceremony location over looking the Berkshires was perfection. The landscaping was the perfect backdrop for every one of our photos. The back patio that we had access to for cocktail hour and throughout our whole reception was unique and stunning. Finally, the sunset we got to experience from the patio was like nothing I have ever seen before. Thank you is an understatement

The Bristol Event Center made all our NYE wedding dreams come true! The venue is absolutely gorgeous, from the floor to ceiling windows, tall ceilings, huge bars, and high-end finishes. Everything was sparkling and new. Having two spacious hospitality suites upstairs to get ready in (or to touch-up during the reception) was a huge bonus. The staff at the BEC was amazing, from our initial tour to the day of. They are experts in the hospitality industry. They got back to us quickly with any question and were extremely accommodating with all our requests. Even our vendors commented how great they were to work with! Food was very important to us and the BEC nailed it! It was difficult to narrow down our hors d'oeuvres choices because everything was so amazing at the tasting. The chef was extremely accommodating to all our requests, including a huge raw bar during cocktail hour which was the talk of the wedding. Lastly, I can’t emphasize how convenient it was for our guests to stay in the hotel next door. Our guests stayed at the DoubleTree which was a 2 minute walk, or they could take one of the shuttles that staff were running back and forth. We also had our afterparty in one of the hotel ballrooms. Staff from both the BEC and Doubletree worked together to make this seamless. It will be even more convenient now that the connected Home2Suites is open for guests! Overall, our experience with the Bristol Event Center was a 1000/10. If you’re looking for a brand-new, sparkling venue with amazing service, food, and convenience, this is your place.

At the turn of the century the company faced a crisis: the site of their mill would be flooded to form the Wachusett Reservoir. Instead of abandoning the mill, the company dismantled it brick by brick and shipped it to its new home in Easthampton, where it was rebuilt on the banks of the Lower Mill Pond. Saint Clements Castle provided a beautiful venue and kind staff for our wedding day. We especially appreciated our sales coordinator, Alyssa, who was professional, fast, and clear in her communication throughout the planning process. When rain forced us to move the ceremony indoors, the team quickly adapted the art gallery for us. The servers and bridal attendants were also attentive and went above and beyond to help finish set up when our florist left early. Our guests had incredibly kind things to say about the servers, and overall we had a great experience. It was also lovely to have a place that was a one stop shop for event planning! We did lose some decor in the shuffle which was an inconvenience, and some of the instructions for set up I left were not followed (our confetti got lost, only four guests got packets, the bridal suites did not have the supplies we left for them). My husband’s family were also really upset with one of the managers on property who wouldn’t allow them to walk in a covered area and was a bit rude about it, despite an event not happening and the rain being a torrential downpour causing unsafe conditions for his elderly family to walk in. Overall we had a great experience, and would recommend the castle to anyone planning a wedding!

The Barns at Wesleyan Hills was an exceptional wedding venue that exceeded our expectations. Their communication throughout the 4-year planning process was always quick, helpful, and informative, which made the entire experience seamless. The quality of their work and overall value was truly remarkable - the venue was beautifully decorated in a dark, romantic style that was well worth the investment. Our day-of coordinator, Sean, was wonderful and so helpful in ensuring we were taken care of on our special day. The only slight downside was that Sean wasn't involved in the full 4-year planning process, so he didn't have the complete picture of our vision. Overall, we highly recommend The Barns at Wesleyan Hills for any couple looking for a rustic, romantic wedding venue with a fantastic team to support them.

I cannot speak highly enough about our experience hosting our wedding at The Curtis House by Gloriosa & Co. My husband and I got married a couple of weeks ago (September 2024) and our wedding was truly one the happiest, best days of our lives thanks to the love and personalization that Gloria and Emma put into planning and executing our day. We were drawn to so many things about the venue, including the charming setting of Ashfield, the rustic but modernized aesthetic of the barn, the beautiful gardens and greenhouse, and the house being an available space to get ready. We were also drawn to the convenience and uniqueness of being able to provide our floral arrangements from Gloria’s greenhouse and gardens on-site, and having all of the food and beverages taken care of through the venue’s catering and bar team. But what made us decide to book this venue for our special day was the attention that Gloria and Emma give each couple. This venue is not your typical wedding factory that puts on weddings multiple times a week, every week of the year; Gloria and Emma host between 12-15 weddings per year and consequently each couple they work with gets full access to the venue the weekend of their wedding and so much guidance during the planning process. We were able to cultivate a vegetarian menu consisting of so many of our favorite foods plus a number of signature dishes of the venue, such as a butternut squash galette that was a crowd favorite. Sustainability is also incredibly important to us as a couple, and Gloria and Emma are committed to sourcing only local, seasonal ingredients for the food and florals and minimizing waste, which meant so much to us. In terms of decor and furnishings, the venue has so much available for couples to use, such as tables, chairs, ceremony benches, several wedding arches to choose from, displays for food or guest favors, tableware, candles, string lights, and more. We did not have to rent or coordinate anything other than the few DIY projects we made, which Gloria and Emma effortlessly integrated into the set up for us. Being able to take care of practically everything through Gloria and Emma made planning so much simpler. On the wedding day, Gloria, Emma, and their team handled the venue set up in a few hours, which happened like a choreographed dance that required practically no work from us or our wedding parties other than providing input and approval along the way. Everything went extremely smoothly and we were able to be fully present. After our ceremony, my husband and I returned to the house, where Gloria had set up champagne and a spread of our hors d'oeuvres for us to enjoy over a few minutes of privacy, which is something she had recommended we do as we took in the moment together. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about our wedding and it was clear the day of how much fun everyone had. We have received so many compliments about how beautiful and authentic the venue was, how exquisite Gloria’s floral arrangements were, how delicious all of the food was (even the heavy meat-eaters loved the vegetarian menu), and how this will be a wedding they will always remember. Gloria made us feel like part of her family and we were so happy to be able to support her business. We truly could not have asked for a more memorable, personalized, loving, and beautiful wedding, and hope that many other couples have the pleasure of getting married at this special place.

My husband and I were married at Salem’s this weekend and I wouldn’t change a thing about the day or the entire planning process! Honestly, I didn’t know anything about planning a wedding but Donna and Martha took care of everything I needed and even the things I didn’t know I needed. Through out planning communication was clear and timely. Donna answered all my questions and accommodated any changes (even last minute) without batting an eye. Salems has great relationships with local venders and their ability to collaborate made it all the more seamless. On the day of my family and I chose to get ready at Salem’s; we had a comfy suite and they served us a delicious sit down lunch with salads and mimosas in a private dining space. When a couple of little girls showed up as a surprise the kitchen staff even made them their own macaroni and cheese plates! The ceremony space and overall landscaping was perfect with flowers and fresh cut grass. Our guests loved taking photos on the beautiful grounds and our professional photos look like they are straight out of a fairy tale. At the reception everyone raved about the delicious prime rib dinner and strawberry short cake. The serving staff and bartenders were fun, personable, professional, attentive and really seemed invested in making my family’s day perfect. If I could do my wedding day again I would absolutely choose this venue.

We were so pleased with our amazing experience at Fern Hill Barn!! Every member of the team was consistently working throughout the day to make things run smoothly and help take any pressure or stress off us as the bride and groom. We experienced a very aggressive pop up thunderstorm right as our outdoor ceremony was supposed to take place, and I have never seen a team take action like they did. Carly kept me posted on the forecast and when we were forced to move inside, the team was at attention, putting up the sides of the tent, moving florals, and keeping everything pristine for the tent ceremony. Joanne, our banquet captain, helped me with any and everything that day - from adjusting my veil and dress, to calming my nerves about the storm, and even making sure we had our first congratulatory drinks once we were married. Kirby Hill Farm is a magical experience. By far my most favorite venue to flower and the most gracious hosts to work with. There is a beauty and authenticity about the farm. Surrounded by rolling hills and wide skies this gem has many perfect backdrops for gorgeous photo ops (think majestic horses grazing in the background and beautifully landscaped grounds to meander). The thoughtfully appointed farmhouse is the right size to accommodate most bridal parties and is also a stellar option for hosting intimate rehearsal dinners in front of the fireplace. The club house is loaded with character: warm wood, stone, and the original barn doors. The barn stands in contrast, industrial in feel with soaring ceilings and oversized glass doors that open up to cocktails on the pavilion overlooking the polo field below. I found tons of inspiration for my design vision right at the farm and the team there was flawless in facilitating my execution. If you love BBQ or beautifully prepared delectable food experiences you should definitely check out the farms exclusive caterer Odeens when you visit the site. Overall just sublime!

The venue had a few hiccups, but overall we had a lovely reception there. The outdoor space was the highlight - truly gorgeous for photos. Communication on coordination was a bit spotty at times, but the maître d', Sergio, was a god send and stepped in to ensure things flowed smoothly. The food was phenomenal, as well! So many of our guests shared it was the best wedding food they’d ever had. We did have both our bridal attendants provided by the venue disappear on us shortly after we arrived, which was inconvenient since we would have paid for our own attendants if we knew that would be the case. While parts of the indoor space is dated, it worked out beautifully with some creative decor. When weighing everything in, the Woodwinds was a spectacular venue!

This venue was truly the best bridal friendly venue we found. From the moment we saw the venue we knew this was the place, it’s scenic beauty, openness, and seclusion was exactly what we were looking for. The Waterview staff confirmed our initial thoughts, as they were super friendly and pleasant. It was refreshing to have venue that displayed and delivered honest and transparent packages about what we can expect and what they would deliver. They never tried to upsell things we didn’t need or want, rather they listened to our vision and made it happen. Zuleika was our coordinator, and we couldn’t be any more grateful for her commitment and thoughtfulness to ensure our wedding was spectacular. During the process of planning (our numerous calls, emails, indecisiveness/uncertainty), we felt catered to as if we were the only wedding party Zuleika was taking care of. Zuleika and her team, never disappointed us but instead reassured us and kept the bride (me) calm. The level of attentiveness we received was consistent throughout the process, from day 1 we were assured we’d be able to integrate and enjoy our favorite Jamaican restaurant’s cuisine into our cocktail hour, to making sure the details of my vision/decor for the ceremony and reception we’re carried out, to ensuring we captured the sparkler send off before our photographer’s contract time ended. Right before the ceremony, a minor detail was out of place and Zuleika made sure it was corrected prior to the start of the ceremony. In addition, they worked with us to setup and break down decor items and it was neatly packed for next day pickup. By far, we were beyond blessed to have the Waterview as the venue our wedding. While there are a lot of venues out there, the Waterview is truly a top notice venue that’s easy to work with and has the best staff. Our guests (200) have not stopped talking about our wedding. Our guest traveled from near and far (Canada, Florida, Jamaica, New York, Seattle, Houston) and raved about the beautiful views (lake and garden views), the food selection(s)/quality/taste, and staff’s genuine interest to ensure all guest were comfortable. Zuleika and her team even opened up the inside venue to several guests who arrived extra early so they didn’t wait outside in the heat. The natural beauty of the venue sitting on the water of Lake Zoar combined with the inside elegant charm is unmatched. Their ability to manage larger weddings seamlessly is phenomenal. The WATERVIEW is “THE PLACE!” A huge thank you The Waterview, Zuleika, and the whole Waterview staff team!
