We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding! We wanted a venue with history, beautiful views, affordable, and only had one wedding a day -- and we got it! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning scenery and beautiful architecture. The staff was incredibly accommodating, the bartenders were so thoughtful. One brought in mint from her garden, as mojitos were my favorite drink! While there were a few moments of uncertainty and lack of communication in the planning process, it didn't take away from the magic of the day. The outdoor ceremony space was perfect, surrounded by lush greenery and gorgeous views. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about how beautiful everything was! Inside, the reception area was equally impressive, with plenty of room for dancing and celebrating. The food was absolutely delicious, and they offered a variety of options that everyone loved. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the decor to the service. Overall, our experience at this venue was nothing short of magical. We feel so lucky to have chosen this place to start our new chapter together. Highly recommend it to any couple looking for the perfect and affordable wedding venue!

We loved having our wedding at the Ballroom at Providence G! The space was very upscale and elegant. It looked fantastic in photos, and it felt great in person too. We also really enjoyed working with the staff at the venue. We worked hand-in-hand with several different people, and each person was organized, kind, and detail-oriented. And even though we talked with multiple people throughout the planning process, everything was very cohesive and all of our requests were honored (with no exceptions whatsoever). We also enjoyed having our cocktail hour on the Rooftop at the Providence G. The vibes up there were immaculate, and we also loved the appetizers and drinks. Additionally, we received several compliments from our guests on the location. Everyone took advantage of how the venue is in the heart of downtown Providence to spend some time enjoying the city. We loved our wedding here!

I had the pleasure of working with Hope Lodge Venue recently as a wedding photographer and I can say they are a fantastic choice . Their communication style is incredibly responsive, helpful, and enthusiastic - they go above and beyond to ensure every detail is taken care of. Great quality of work for a the value ; the venue is open, clean, bright, and airy, creating the perfect atmosphere for a wedding or big event . One memorable example was when the staff dressed up along with the Gatsby-themed wedding, truly immersing themselves in the couple's vision. My only suggestion would be for them to potentially expand their parking area in the future, but overall, Hope Lodge Venue is an excellent option for couples seeking a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue and one they could decorate and make their own.

We had our wedding on 6/22/2024 at Angel & Anchor Farm with 125 guests. It was absolutely the best day ever thanks to the venue owners, Bill and Nicole. The venue is absolutely stunning. There are so many spots on the farm for your ceremony, for photos, etc. The farm was in full bloom in June as well. The bridal and groomsmen suite were also stunning, and offered a beautiful and cozy space for everyone to get ready in the morning. Bill and Nicole are also incredible. They truly did everything possible to make our wedding day so special. We didn't have to worry about a single thing, they were on it. From making adjusting for weather, setting up our beautiful reception tent, to attending the fire and more, they made our day absolutely flawless. If anything went wrong, my husband and I didn't know about it because Bill and Nicole just took care of it. We absolutely loved our wedding day and our guests kept saying the same. The farm is sprawling and offers so much space for guests to walk around and mingle. Everyone truly had an amazing time. Couldn't recommend the venue enough.

We had a great experience with Oakholm Farm Estate, and truly feel we picked the best venue out of what we toured! From the start, we were informed and involved. I have over 100 emails back and forth with our appointed day of coordinator which really made the process of planning an out of state wedding as seamless as possible! Oakholm is such a beautiful place, they have so much to offer, and they very clearly know what they are doing which again made all of the planning, but most importantly, day of anxiety and stress free! My husband and I got married at Terrydiddle Farm on June 29, 2024 and it was MAGICAL. Lissa and her team, the impeccable grounds, the horses, the lawn games, Sophie the dog... Everything was absolutely perfect and everything we were looking for. Tons of our guests, friends and family raved about our venue, saying it is the best wedding venue they have ever been to. When we toured Terrydiddle, we said we'd take a bit to think about it, and we called Lisa to confirm 10 minutes after leaving the property. A great perk they have is their "open house" where you can tour the venue while they have it set up for a wedding. It gives you such a great idea of what your day will look like. The bridal suite is so cute and was so helpful for our morning and holding our belongings, the barn and cocktail area is perfect for mingling with people after the ceremony, and the lawn games are just the best touch. Tons of our guests were playing corn hole! The fire pit was awesome for us and our guests too, and we included a cigar table, which was a huge hit! We used Terrydiddle's staff for our bar services, which worked out perfectly. The reception tent is so beautiful and the rental options (arbor, sweetheart table, barrels, etc) make things so helpful for decor purposes and eased some of my stress, as we mostly did mostly DIY. Lissa and her team do an amazing job keeping their property clean and gorgeous. The perfect wedding venue through and through.

My husband and I were married at Salem’s this weekend and I wouldn’t change a thing about the day or the entire planning process! Honestly, I didn’t know anything about planning a wedding but Donna and Martha took care of everything I needed and even the things I didn’t know I needed. Through out planning communication was clear and timely. Donna answered all my questions and accommodated any changes (even last minute) without batting an eye. Salems has great relationships with local venders and their ability to collaborate made it all the more seamless. On the day of my family and I chose to get ready at Salem’s; we had a comfy suite and they served us a delicious sit down lunch with salads and mimosas in a private dining space. When a couple of little girls showed up as a surprise the kitchen staff even made them their own macaroni and cheese plates! The ceremony space and overall landscaping was perfect with flowers and fresh cut grass. Our guests loved taking photos on the beautiful grounds and our professional photos look like they are straight out of a fairy tale. At the reception everyone raved about the delicious prime rib dinner and strawberry short cake. The serving staff and bartenders were fun, personable, professional, attentive and really seemed invested in making my family’s day perfect. If I could do my wedding day again I would absolutely choose this venue.

From the moment we entered the grounds to many vendor visits, all the way to the wedding day, we felt like we were at home at Pierce House. We were able to curate the space to our specific visions, and Jen was sooo helpful throughout the whole process. She also has the cutest bulldogs on the planet, and we were actually sad the next day picking up the remaining decorations because we wanted to keep working with her. You really don't have to do much to the space to make it beautiful, and with a Director as involved and as helpful as Jen, you'll have the most fairy tale wedding day. Just a pro tip for communication: Jen is the most responsive via phone, so text or call her to inquire about meetings, and she will be at your side whether you're planning for 6 months or 2 years.

Cambridge Boat Club is a social and rowing club, located on the banks of the Charles River overlooking Eliot Bridge. Originally built in 1909, CBC was picked up in its entirety and rolled upstream to its current location in 1947, to make room for the building of Memorial Drive. Featuring vaulted ceilings and dark exposed beams akin to a ski chalet, and double french doors opening to a full length veranda, CBC offers a unique, rustic setting for any event.

The Cambridge Boat Club was the perfect choice for our New England fall-themed wedding! It is an absolutely gorgeous location on the river with just the right amount of historic charm. We had originally considered going with all-inclusive venues, but ultimately opted for the flexibility we had with the CBC to craft our own vision. The venue features two distinct rooms, a larger room called the Drinkwater room, which can be used for the wedding dinner, the Club Room, which was used for cocktail hour and the dance floor, and a porch, which has a stunning view. The layout perfectly accommodated both the party enthusiasts and our more introverted guests, who preferred quieter spaces for rest and socialization away from the dance floor. Opting for this venue requires a more DIY approach compared to all-inclusive options. Since it is a historic building, there are some restrictions to be aware of, e.g. no sparklers or ceiling drapery, and existing wall decor generally need to stay on the wall. This was no issue for us since we had a clear vision for the wedding theme and decor, and enlisted the help of Tastings Catering (highly recommend, since they have previous experience working in this space and also handle some of the decor) and Designlight. Major shoutout to Katie Donnelly, the club manager at Cambridge Boat Club, who always responded in record time to all our inquiries and provided helpful guidance. With everyone's help, we were able to create the wedding of our dreams!

We had the most magical day of our lives getting married at the Hampshire House in early May this year. Right from the get go, Hampshire House checked all our boxes when it came to what we were looking for in a wedding venue. It has that old New England charm, is located right next to the beautiful Public Gardens and is the perfect size for an intimate, small to medium sized wedding (we had 60-70 guests in attendance). Most of all, the food here is beyond exceptional and some of the best we’ve had. We are major foodies, and having food that was well-plated, generously portioned, and above all delicious and memorable was a high priority item for us. We were lucky enough to be able to work with Sydney Turnbull and the Hampshire house team. Sydney is the most kind, professional, and detail-oriented catering sales manager and event coordinator and thanks to her, all our venue planning with Hampshire House was truly smooth sailing and stress-free. Sydney constantly kept us in the loop with next steps in our planning timeline, offering thoughtful recommendations and suggestions for our wedding (such as floral placements during our ceremony, order and timing of toasts/speeches, seating arrangements, the list goes on!) She kept in contact with all our vendors, always promptly responded to our many emails, walked us through all the steps during our ceremony rehearsal —somehow making it seem much less daunting, and on our big day Sydney seemed to always be one step ahead, preparing and leading us through every portion of our wedding timeline in such a seamless way. Lastly, since our wedding ended late into the evening, Hampshire House thoughtfully held on to and organized all our florals, and various wedding signage and other items so that we were able to return and pick it up at the venue on a following day. This made it so we didn’t have to worry about anything at all night of and could end our wedding day with the peace of mind that everything was taken care of. Truly, we cannot recommend Sydney and the Hampshire House enough and if we were to do it all over again, we wouldn’t change a thing!

We couldn't be more happy with our choice to have our wedding ceremony and reception last weekend at CMAC! Adria was very communicative pre-event and easily adjusted our contract when we had to delay our date by one year. She also let us drop stuff off decorations the night before and pick things up the following Monday which was very helpful logistically. M ran our sound and lights and they were very organized and willing to work with us on running a playlist rather than using a DJ. We lucked out with beautiful weather and had our ceremony at the park outdoors but CMAC is really appealing because there's a good option for an indoor ceremony if it rains. The venue overall is absolutely stunning and our guests were raving about how beautiful the historic ballroom was. Great value for the Boston area and a perfect spot for a city wedding, with the airport and many hotels nearby.
