“We hired DJ Rachel for our wedding reception in October 2022. From our first call through the event, we enjoyed the experience and appreciated her support! Rachel was very helpful during the planning stage. Her thoughtful questions helped us determine what we wanted from the evening, and Rachel gave us key input on the schedule of events. Rachel thought critically about the energy of different events we wanted (ex: group photo, cake cutting, table dash) and provided suggestions for best flow. Rachel was organized, responsive, and communicated clearly. We appreciated Rachel's suggestions on how to pick songs for our "want to play" list - it was a fun trip down memory lane, and probably our favorite part of wedding planning! On the day of our event, Rachel's leadership made the day go smoothly. Rachel was prepared, organized, and energetic. She seamlessly guided us, the other vendors, and the wedding party through the evening, and gave the wedding party notice on the next events (like their speeches!). This allowed us and our wedding party to focus on enjoying the day instead of the schedule. Rachel encouraged us to try a "Table Dash" - going to each table of guests for a quick photo while one song plays. It was so fun, and Rachel's willingness to try this idea (and seamless execution) was critical to making it happen. This also allowed us to get at least one photo with each guest, a treasured memory. Rachel's mix of experience, enthusiasm, and calming presence helped the first few hours of our wedding run smoothly. During the dancing time, we could not have been more happy with how DJ Rachel performed. Her energy was so fun and kept our guests dancing all night! Rachel read the room to keep things flowing and played the perfect mix of throwbacks, slow songs, and hits from our list of songs. We appreciated how DJ Rachel was thoughtful of the guest age/types regarding explicit and mature songs. DJ Rachel had high quality equipment and lights, including speakers for the outside garden area and two microphones. Multiple guests asked us if DJ Rachel was in the wedding party, and also asked where we found such a great DJ. More than one guest said "best wedding DJ ever", and we agree wholeheartedly! Rachel also supported our "vow renewal", a surprise for our guests! We would not have done this without Rachel's support and encouragement, and it was a blast! One example from the dance floor - DJ Rachel played "Copperhead Road" and led the dance floor in the line dance. The dance includes rotating so a different part of the dance floor is the "front" throughout the song. DJ Rachel ran around the dance floor to lead as the group turned, so guests could always see her to follow the line dance steps. I have never seen a DJ put in that much effort - it was incredible and helped people really get down the steps and have fun in the dance. Just one example of how DJ Rachel went above and beyond to make the day successful. Rachel made working together remotely easy. We planned our wedding from out of state, and Rachel was integral to making this successful - phone calls, zoom calls, a google doc were all tools that Rachel used to facilitate the long distance planning. Rachel also accepted Venmo which made paying easy (no need to remember a check!). On important days like your wedding, you need a high quality team in your corner to help make the day run smoothly and meet your expectations. Rachel is that partner! We highly recommend DJ Rachel!”

When they did a couples dance she even joked about how if someone didn’t have a partner they could dance with Danny. She was very personable and even helped clear plates in her free time. In addition, there was an issue where the hired officiant didn’t show up on time. I called Live Events as a back up and the owner Dennis told me he was an hour and a half away at another wedding but would come immediately. He rushed to our aid even when I told him the other officiant finally showed up. He showed up ready to help in any way he could. This company is top notch in all they do. Professional, polite, friendly, fun and ready to exceed your expectations. The only mistake you could make on your wedding day would be not hiring them.”

“We used for DJ Clife for our wedding 09/2023 and couldn't be happier! When looking for wedding DJs it can be tough to know what you're getting for your money. At first I was cautious as he is on the higher end of price ranges but noticed the higher ratings to match. I would say without a doubt DJ Clife Company was a perfect choice for us! We had several zoom meetings to discuss the vibe and creative view of our day and then focusing more on logistics and specifics for the night. Our wedding had some specific scheduling needs including a 15 minute dance session at the beginning of the reception, 2 dance numbers, choregraphed formal dances and other surprises. Clife Estores delivered on every detail that was needed from the beginning of the day until the end. Using the "Vibo" app helped us drop in songs and add information for our schedule to keep our conversations focused on what was needed - we enjoyed this process. Leading up to the wedding he was quick to respond to e-mails/texts with last minute questions or changed plans. My main concern was finding a DJ who truly mixed the music like you would hear in a club/party atmosphere with the best 2-3 minutes of the song played and rolling right into the next song. I asked for a constant variety of music genres so it didn't fall into that typical wedding format. Clife delivered some of the best music mixes I've ever heard! All of my guests commented on how great the music was and everyone from people who love to dance to those just watching all said how they really felt the party vibe. A couple commented that they planned to leave when the music slowed down and it never did so they stayed all night! He truly set the atmosphere in a positive direction and we had the best night of our lives! If you are unsure of the cost I can assure you he is worth the expense and truly created a great atmosphere for everyone! A few add-ons we used with DJ Clife: Room Uplighting, 4 moving spotlights and 2 sparklers - all enhanced the night! For anyone who has a lot of dancers in their guest list I would suggest looking into the LED dance floor with "Unique Events" in Cedar Rapids, IA. Pricey, but the DJ and dance floor were the most talked about from our guests.”

Their communication leading up to the wedding was great and I had no concerns going into the wedding. We chose specific music for the ceremony, the general category of modern music covers for the cocktail hour, and the general category of classical music for dinner. They absolutely exceeded our expectations. Our guests could not stop raving about how wonderful they were, and they especially loved the modern music covers. If you want something unique, I highly recommend the modern music covers. Multiple guests took videos of the group playing and days after the wedding we are still hearing about how everyone loved this quartet. Everyone thought the quartet was well worth the money and personally I thought they were very affordable for professional musicians. Having Landolfi Quartet was one of my favorite parts of our wedding and I would recommend them without reservations to any future bride.”
