We loved BWKB!!
I can’t say enough good things about Bluewater Kings Band! They truly made our special day unforgettable. For the ceremony, the cello and piano duo created the most enchanting atmosphere. Their beautiful melodies set the perfect tone as I walked down the aisle, and many guests remarked on how emotional and lovely the music was. They also had an incredible selection of songs to choose from which made the ceremony even more personal. During cocktail hour, the jazz trio elevated the mood even further. Their smooth tunes created a relaxed, classy vibe that everyone enjoyed while mingling and celebrating. It was the perfect backdrop for our guests to savor the moment and unwind before the festivities began. Then came the reception, and wow—this 8-piece band brought the house down! They were energetic, engaging, and kept everyone on the dance floor all night long. Their versatility in playing everything from classic hits to current favorites ensured that there was something for everyone. The crowd was buzzing, and we loved seeing our friends and family dancing and having the time of their lives. From start to finish, this band exceeded our expectations and made our wedding a truly magical experience. Jessica was available for many calls to ensure that the day was perfectly tailored to our needs and I was really impressed with how we were really able to customize everything! Their planning page made everything so seamless and we had a great call with Jessica again the week of the wedding to make sure everything would go off without a hitch. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for talented musicians who know how to create an incredible atmosphere. Thank you for making our day so special!
Bluewater Kings Band - Chicago Review
The Bluewater Kings Band did a wonderful job at my daughter’s October 11, 2024 wedding. My wife along with myself and all of our guests were so impressed with all of the talented members in the band. The music played at the cocktail hour, dinner and dancing was beautiful. It added a very special touch to the memories of their first day together as husband and wife. My daughter and son-in-law had smiles on their faces all night long. You personally did a outstanding job working with our daughter and now son-in-law, in choosing music that met their personalities. Molly made it a very smooth process to arrange such a magical night. Especially with learning, playing and singing the song for their first dance. She has a great voice. Our guests were shocked on how many and how long people were on the dance floor. Your band made it such a fun event. We can not express enough that choosing Bluewater Kings Band for our daughter’s wedding was hands down the best choice we made for their event.
Everyone had fun!
The band was very professional, easy to work with, and relatively affordable compared to other bands. Everybody said they had a great time dancing to the music! Finally, the band also lets you play your own Spotify playlist when they take breaks, which I loved, since I was the person in the couple leaning toward having a DJ. I think the only thing I would say is that the songs were not as upbeat as I would have hoped, and I don’t think they played everything on our set list. We really only went over what we wanted/didn’t want the week before (I am told this is typical). The guy reviewing our planning said he saw that our vibe was some Motown, some modern, which was true, but I would say they ended up playing more Motown and more older than newer. Nevertheless, I think going with the band was the right way to go. Even if some of the songs aren’t what you want, that same song would get more people on the dance floor when played live vs when DJ’d.
Can’t stop talking about them!
Our friends and family cannot stop talking about how amazing BWK were!!!! We had the best night and received so many compliments. The team was so fun and easy to work with. Jessica and Aaron were amazing! We are so appreciative
