West River House is an homage to a Vermont covered bridge and houses an art collection to create a museum-like experience with breathtaking views over Lake Dunlap. A dining area under the covered bridge has 25-foot high ceilings and provides a Harry Potter feel with interiors of the bridge designed using original barn wood. Pass to the lake side of the house and there is floor-to-ceiling glass, balconies, patios, and vestiges of Mid-century Modern masterpieces. The venue features four luxurious suites on massive balconies, two kitchens to make any chef jealous and a spectacular sound system in virtually every room. I have always enjoyed European gardens, they are magical! My inspiration was the Gardens of Versailles located in France. I wanted to create the Fairy-tail venue for our brides to walk through, with elegant formal pruned shrubs, enchanting Juliette balcony to over look the 3 acres of gardens with 250 rose bushes. Old world architecture to give it that Cinderella vibe. The ballroom is all white with 3 crystal chandeliers, a white marble floor, with walls enhanced with the Bridgerton details to give it that simple elegance. The Mansion is where the bridal party gets ready with lots of space, large bridal & Grooms suite, large kitchen, 3 bathrooms/showers, and a beautiful spiral staircase. We also have Guest accommodations available, created in a small private French Village with 6 individual chateaus decorated in the French style of elegance. The Village has a large town square fountain, swimming pool with lounging furniture, BBQ & corn hull game and butterfly garden.
