I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!

We recently had the pleasure of working with Yvonne for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier with our experience! From the very first consultation, she was incredibly realistic about what we could achieve within our budget. Instead of trying to upsell us on extravagant options, she listened to our vision and offered thoughtful suggestions that aligned perfectly with our financial constraints. Her flexibility with payment options was a breath of fresh air, making the planning process much less stressful. It was clear that she genuinely wanted to help us create our dream wedding without stretching us beyond our means. On the big day, the floral arrangements and decor were nothing short of stunning. Every detail was beautifully executed and truly brought our vision to life. Our guests were in awe, and we received countless compliments on the flowers and overall ambiance. I used to live in Evanston and relied on Saville for all my special occasions. When it came to planning my wedding, I knew that head floral designer Mark was the only person for my floral vision! He graciously agreed to fly down and cater to our wedding in Fort Myers, Florida. Mark went above and beyond to make our wedding decor outstanding. He took on much more than just a florist role- he basically stepped in and became the day-of coordinator. He is a natural!! I hadn't hired a wedding planner, and Mark basically took it upon himself to be that person. It was amazing, and I would highly recommend his services. As far as the flowers go- I will let the photos speak for themselves. The spread was absolutely stunning and even beyond what I had in mind. Mark met my vision and then added to it! I never would have thought of the fresh fruit on the tables, but it really brought such a pop of life and freshness to our early Spring wedding! The complimenting candles were also his idea, and it made the space glow beautifully when the sun went down. Best of all was my bridal arrangement. As you can see, it was the highlight of every photo. THANK YOU MARK AND SAVILLE!! Because of you, my wedding day was brighter. I cannot recommend this team highly enough for their professionalism, artistic vision, creativity, and commitment to your big day!

Seven family members are active in the Chicago floral business, which now reaches beyond Chicago, too. For nationwide flower delivery, Phillip's was recently named one of the Top 50 florists in North America, the company's online flower shops have earned it honors, and Phillip's has also been named an Illinois Retailer of the Year. Phillip's Flowers may be best known locally for its colorful floral shops, busy delivery vehicles, and custom wedding flowers. Still, in an age of giant corporations and mega-mergers, it's nice to know that some small family businesses like Phillip's are blooming, too.

Phillip's Flowers is the absolute best! The flowers and decor were absolutely perfect! We worked with Laura Walsh and her team, and they were truly outstanding. At our first meeting, Laura guided us through every step of the process, took detailed notes, and asked questions to help us think through every detail. She even made arrangements based on our wedding colors. At our second meeting, she created more bouquets and centerpieces, which really allowed us to visualize what to expect on our wedding day. Laura was incredibly patient and understanding of last-minute changes. She is knowledgeable, flexible, and truly cares about her customers. We could not have asked for a better experience.
