“Justin did an INCREDIBLE job at our wedding. His preparation and attention to detail beforehand was immaculate, as he spent over an hour with my partner and me going over the entire wedding day step by step. The sound systems were flawless- everyone could hear our vows during the ceremony and the quality of the sound during the entire day and night was exceptional. He kept our wedding very organized and was the perfect host. Regarding the music selection, he allowed us to make playlists for the cocktail hour and reception which he stuck to using beautiful transitions between songs. Our guests were dancing the entire night! All of our guests said it was the most fun wedding they had ever attended. 10/10 DJ, would definitely recommend him for any event. Even though the Zoom integration was a first for all of our vendors, including Rob, he ran with our vision and NAILED it. Guests said the picture and audio (talking and music) was incredible and we got to see all of our loved ones on Zoom gallery view on a 50" TV screen that Rob set up in our garden, all of which helped maintain a sense of intimacy and connection with our online guests. Rob and his partner also used my Zoom account to ensure the settings were properly configured and did a rehearsal with all ceremony participants to ensure the choreography of multiple in-person and Zoom speakers would be seamless during our wedding the next day... and it was. The IT and AV was the most critical and stressful part of planning a Zoom wedding for us, but Rob stepped up and blew everyone away.”

“If you are in need of a DJ for your wedding, I cannot imagine going with anybody but Rick and Bell-Aire Music and Lighting. From the minute we met with him and started our planning, he was absolutely phenomenal. He's not just a DJ, he's almost like an event coordinator. When we sat down to meet, he talked to us about weddings in general and all the things to think about, since our planning had just begun. It literally felt like he could have planned our entire wedding, and his early advice was so greatly appreciated. Like most couples, we were very overwhelmed, and didn't expect our DJ to have such a calming effect on us instantly. Unsurprisingly, when the big day came, he didn't just play music for us, he essentially "ran the show", keeping everything on-time and flowing perfectly. He even came over and made sure we sat down and ate our food, something he warned us is extremely difficult to do with everyone wanting to talk, but very important!! It was clear in every part of the planning process, right through to the end of the actual reception, that his full attention was on us and making our day go perfectly. During the planning process, you will have TONS of questions for all your vendors. Struggling to reach people is INFURIATING. Rick was outrageously responsive, regardless of what day it was, or what time it was. He was responding to e-mails from us within minutes almost every single time. It's a little thing that's not so little. When you're trying to finalize something and need an answer to a question, you'll be begging for a vendor who gets right back to you so you can keep doing whatever you're doing. Rick is that type of guy! He is well known for the Wedding Planning booklet he gives you to fill out, and it is easy to see why. It is awesome. No stone is left unturned, no detail is missed. It offers much useful information to make the process easier for the bride and groom, and covers everything you could think of. As for the actual DJ'ing/music, his choices and ability to read the room, get people up and dancing, and overall give the crowd in front of him what they want was excellent. We had a solid mix of young and old people, and the songs he chose were perfect. Nothing inappropriate, nothing weird, nothing even from a genre that we didn't care for. He knew our vibe as a couple, and he read the vibe of the 160 of our guests perfectly. Everyone had a great time, nobody looked disinterested, and the dance floor was packed! Someone commented that even the volume of the music was perfect. Plenty loud without being deafening to anybody. Also, he didn't inject himself into the party when it wasn't necessary. Lots of DJ's make themselves part of the show, yelling at the crowd to hype them up and doing self-advertising between songs. This is YOUR wedding, you really don't need the DJ screaming their own name looking for new business. Rick was professional and all about the music. His work spoke for itself. Overall, my now-wife and I cannot say enough good things about him. To go with a DJ who basically helps plan the whole party is invaluable. He truly cares about you, he invests himself fully in your big day, and he executes when that day finally comes. And on top of it all, he's the kind of guy you want to be friends with after the fact. I know we will be in touch for years to come, and I look forward to the next event I can call him for!!”

“We decided on a DJ instead of a band for a few practical reasons. It's cheaper, there's more variety in what he/she can play and therefore can appeal to a broader audience, and most importantly for us, a DJ takes up less space than a band. We thought about foregoing a professional altogether and just doing the iPod thing, but I was afraid that it would stress me out. For anyone else who has done the DJ search, there is LOT of cheese out there! I received a packet from this one guy with all kinds of crazy rainbow colors and smiley faces and frankly, his voice on the phone scared me. We wanted a low-key DJ, not a show-boat. Tom was perfect. He totally delivered! He wore a tux and looked great. Call me shallow but that's important - the DJ is in the background of quite a few of the photos. He was professional and knew what to play to make everyone happy. He also played all of the songs we asked him to, which is not always a given. The reception was non-stop dancing all night. They’re not a typical wedding band, and we knew their style and songs were the vibe we wanted. Easily one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. We had planned a 200 person wedding but had to pivot to 25 because of COVID. Mark and the guys were the kindest humans alive, accommodating us and being flexible with every phone call and change in plans. They never badgered us about making decisions, were super responsive, and went with the flow. We looked forward to every call with Mark. They made it so easy and it was one less thing for us to stress over during an already emotional year of planning. From the cocktail music to dinner music to the main performance, they were a huge reason the wedding was so fun and memorable. In fact, my husband and I (and our guests!) begged them to stay an hour past their scheduled stopping time - we were willing to pay whatever they wanted they were so good!! We just didn’t want the night to end. (For those wondering, they so kindly did and it was the best money we ever spent!) I literally lost half my voice that night and left the dance floor *maybe* once. Even days later all our guests are still raving about how amazing Business Time was. “We recently hired Press Play Entertainment for a Bnei Mitzvah celebration. Keith and his team were a delight to work with. Keith was very communicative and cooperative in the planning stages and fleshed out a great program for the event. There wasn't a single point during our planning conversations where I felt he was "pushing" services; in fact I felt that he really listened to what I wanted and even discouraged me from purchasing extra services when I inquired about them, which I really appreciated. At the event itself, he and his team were energetic and upbeat and managed to get even the most reluctant guests to participate in the fun and really enjoy themselves. Just like with many events of this kind, we encountered a few small challenges (larger crowd than was expected for the space rented, a few "non-compliant" teens) that Keith and team handled seamlessly and flawlessly. Most importantly, everyone had a great time! They were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the whole process of planning and had no problem with even the most far-fetched ideas (including my wife surprising me by getting up and playing the drums with the band). If we asked each and every person what their favorite part of our wedding was, hands down it was the music. Ana, Jimmy, and the rest of the band had everyone dancing the entire night without question. It was hit after hit after hit with the whole crowd! So many people rushed to us to ask how we got so lucky finding them. Ana and Jimmy truly respected and acknowledged everyone’s pronouns and made everyone in our family and party seen and comfortable through the entire process. “Everything about Pocket Change was a perfect addition to our wedding. Choosing our band was a major priority for us, as we know from experience they can make or break the reception. Pocket Change was everything we wanted, and more. From our first meeting with them, we felt comfortable and heard. They did a fantastic job of listening to our preferences and adapting that to what they were best at to deliver a great performance. They also did a great job of suggesting additions to our "must plays" that really went with the vibe we were looking for. Also, as a side note, the bride is a teacher, and we loved that Pocket Change is a band of music teachers! In addition to being absolutely perfect as a wedding band, they were also extremely affordable! We worked with some amazing vendors all around, but Pocket Change is the first review we're writing, because we really wanted to thank them for what they did to make our day special. We had a miscommunication with our venue about who was in charge of ceremony audio, and Pocket Change was able to jump in last minute to provide audio for the ceremony. They also let one of the bride's best friends join them on stage to sing Dancing Queen, which was so special for the bride and groom. There was a small issue with the wireless microphone during speeches, and their technician was able to jump in and solve it immediately! They were great at going with the flow and making situations that could have been stressful not at all. In almost every conversation we have had with guests since our wedding, someone has brought up what a great band they were. Hire Pocket Change - you will not be disappointed!!!”

“If you think you are going to get a run of the mill Dj, who just stands behind the booth, look else where. Gregory IS THE PARTY, not only is he versatile with genres but also play songs from the 70's and 80's to current Pop and Afrobeats, truly his musical vocabulary is quite unmatched. Which is why we wanted him at our wedding. and he did not disappoint. At our wedding he danced bachata with guests, he sang with parents, he hosted a dance completion and, literally was the talk of the day for weeks to come. For us, we opted to get the largest package which included bringing not just 1 but 3 of his Dj colleagues, and 4 Speakers running music in three different spaces within the venue. Cocktail hour was a live Brooklyn Brunch Themed Set, with DJ Thematics Inside was a Jazz playlist for our older guest who wanted to stay and chat And an all party in the evening as he plays along side Dj Mastermind & Dj Blackout. All of which was a separate location from the ceremony space which had its own amplification. I have nothing else to say but 5 Stars across the board”
