We couldn't have asked for a better band for our December 2024 wedding! From the moment Clockwork started playing, the energy in the room was electric. Guests were on the dance floor before dinner was even served – that's how amazing they were! They knew exactly how to read the crowd and kept everyone engaged all night long. Every single guest raved about the music, saying it was one of the best wedding bands they've ever seen. The setlist was perfect, blending classics with current hits, and their performance was flawless. The dance floor was packed the entire time, and people didn’t want the night to end! If you're looking for a band that will truly make your wedding unforgettable, look no further. We highly recommend them – they made our night absolutely perfect! And Ron, our band manager was so easy to work with and responsive! I can't say enough good things about Ron and Clockwork New England!!

We hired Clockwork Boston for our NYE wedding on 12/31/24 and it was the best decision we made!! Ron was great to work with from day one, very communicative and made the process smooth and easy. They absolutely crushed it and kept all of our guests on the dancefloor throughout the night! Everyone was raving about how great they were. We couldn't have asked for a more amazing band to keep the vibe going all the way through the New Year. Could not recommend them enough!

My daughter's wedding was on January 4, 2025 at the Bedford Village Inn in Bedford New Hampshire. One of the major reasons she told me "it was the best day of my life" was directly as a result of the brilliance of Clockwork New England. Words cannot describe how amazing the entire band was before, during and after the event. True professionals to the core, with excellent musicianship they kept the energetic vibe going all night long. The precision and tightness with which they played their instruments and sang was astounding. They played multiple genres easily, and the dance floor was literally full all night. They came early for set up and brought with them a powerful sound system and a lighting array where literally my daughter and her fiancé, now husband, had nothing to worry about. We had multiple guests tell us that they want to have a second wedding because instead of just a DJ, they want to have Clockwork New England play at their reception. They were worth every penny and much more. Our guests did not want them to stop playing. One more piece of advice: when you do hire Clockwork New England for your event, make sure you get the horn section as well, you will not regret it!

Clockwork East Coast was an amazing choice for our wedding band. From the very start Ron and Greg were communicative, flexible, and responsive, making the planning process a breeze. On the day of, their professionalism and talent shone through - they learned all the songs we requested, were super easy to work with, and got all our guests dancing with their interactive, fun performance and amazing vocals. We couldn't have asked for a better band to help create the perfect vibe for our special day. We will learn it! Or we can play the actual recording for you to dance to. Dancing to the recording is quite common, and for a lot of couples it removes those "first dance jitters" because they know exactly how it’s going to sound (and quite often they’ve been practicing dancing to the recording). Honestly, you won't offend us in the least if you ask us to "DJ" your first dance!

Most wedding receptions are 5 hours long: 1 hour for cocktails, and 4 hours for the reception (dinner and dancing), and there’s a reason for that. A four-hour reception seems to be the right amount of time to create a very fun atmosphere, to get everyone dancing, and have the energy peak before people get too tired. Keep in mind that after dinner, there is continuous high-energy music until the end of the reception.

During a 4-hour reception, we take two breaks. The first is during dinner when the main course is being served. After dinner we play two dance sets, and bridge the gap between these two sets with the high-energy DJ set (about 15 minutes in length).

Yes. In fact, you can put together your own custom playlist specifying exactly which songs are to be played during each break. Just give us a list, and we'll put it together! Or you can rely on us to put together a great mix to "DJ" the breaks.

No. We perform only one event each day, thereby giving each event our undivided attention. Furthermore, you will never be charged a penalty or extra stipend if your reception happens to be during “crossover” times (from late afternoon into early evening).

Getting your guests to the dance floor and keeping them there is our number one goal; isn’t that why you hire a band in the first place? Having performed at so many weddings in the past, we have a good sense as to which songs to pick to get people on the dance floor. Once the dancing has started, we string songs together into medleys (so there’s not that awkward “dead air” in between songs), gradually building the energy from one song to the next.
