Hiring Clockwork New England to perform at our wedding at the Providence G in October was one of the best decisions we made! Ron was very communicative, flexible, and always answered all of our questions very quickly. We worked with Patrick in the weeks leading up to our wedding and had a great experience with him as well. The band exceeded our expectations at our wedding, and the DJ played all of our requested songs during breaks and at the end of the night. We are still getting feedback about how great the band was 2 months later! We would hire Clockwork again over and over!

We had the most incredible experience with Clockwork Boston at our December wedding! They were absolutely amazing. From the ceremony music to the jazz trio during cocktail hour and the lively wedding reception, they covered it all beautifully. The dance floor was packed the entire evening, and we’ve been getting non-stop compliments on the music ever since. Their professionalism and ease to work with made the planning process seamless. Thank you, Clockwork Boston, for making our night unforgettable! They were a 12/10 and we would highly recommend them to anyone!

Clockwork was the absolute highlight of our 11.16.24 wedding at the Harvard Club in Boston. We used Clockwork for the ceremony, cocktail hour and the reception and they were perfect every step of the way. Planning was easy and fun with the Clockwork team and they were so helpful in providing input and flexible with our requests! We are constantly hearing from our guests how they are the best wedding band they've ever heard, they kept the dance floor going all night, the song choices were top notch, the talent was incredible! Nobody wanted the night to end. I am so happy we chose Clockwork to make our wedding extra special. All the stars for Clockwork Entertainment!

Clockwork was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding in Boston this October 2024. Not only were the musicians incredibly talented, but their energy and fun truly brought the party. They played all the right songs and brought so much entertainment and excitement to the wedding and to the dance floor. Everyone at our wedding had so much praise for them and was up on the floor dancing the night away. Clockwork was a great partner to work with as well. They took the time to meet with us, and get to know what we were looking for and completely delivered on that. They are responsive, flexible, knowledgable and extremely helpful. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

We will learn it! Or we can play the actual recording for you to dance to. Dancing to the recording is quite common, and for a lot of couples it removes those "first dance jitters" because they know exactly how it’s going to sound (and quite often they’ve been practicing dancing to the recording). Honestly, you won't offend us in the least if you ask us to "DJ" your first dance!

Most wedding receptions are 5 hours long: 1 hour for cocktails, and 4 hours for the reception (dinner and dancing), and there’s a reason for that. A four-hour reception seems to be the right amount of time to create a very fun atmosphere, to get everyone dancing, and have the energy peak before people get too tired. Keep in mind that after dinner, there is continuous high-energy music until the end of the reception.

During a 4-hour reception, we take two breaks. The first is during dinner when the main course is being served. After dinner we play two dance sets, and bridge the gap between these two sets with the high-energy DJ set (about 15 minutes in length).

Yes. In fact, you can put together your own custom playlist specifying exactly which songs are to be played during each break. Just give us a list, and we'll put it together! Or you can rely on us to put together a great mix to "DJ" the breaks.

No. We perform only one event each day, thereby giving each event our undivided attention. Furthermore, you will never be charged a penalty or extra stipend if your reception happens to be during “crossover” times (from late afternoon into early evening).

Getting your guests to the dance floor and keeping them there is our number one goal; isn’t that why you hire a band in the first place? Having performed at so many weddings in the past, we have a good sense as to which songs to pick to get people on the dance floor. Once the dancing has started, we string songs together into medleys (so there’s not that awkward “dead air” in between songs), gradually building the energy from one song to the next.
