As we were travelling to NYC from overseas (Scotland) we were nervous about the logistics and the risk of the weather changing. In our two Zoom calls prior to our trip, Nina was so reassuring and we made sure to cover all bases incase of a change in schedule or rain. On the day of the elopement, Nina and Will met us early in the morning at our hotel, and were the perfect companions for us venturing round NYC for photos before our City Hall Ceremony. They are both the sweetest, most authentic people and there was zero awkwardness. Both my husband and I were a little nervous about being in the front of the camera, but with Nina’s help we forgot we were being photographed at all and simply enjoyed the day. A dad, a son, a brother and a jack of all trades musician that loves to rock out any chance I get. I grew up in New York City. My inclination towards photography came from classic street photography and photojournalists from all over the world that told their stories through a lens. It made me pick up a camera and start shooting. Now, living in Maryland I shoot all sorts of stories and moments locally, domestically, and abroad. It's taken me a while to figure out what my "thing" is but I've come to figure out that I'm a milestone photographer. The moments your life that have proven to be meaningful -- I'll be there.
