“We hired Elevation Band for our Wedding at the Kimmel Center on 5/18/24. I could write a novel on how amazing they were but will try to keep it brief. They are professional from start to finish (Lea was awesome to work with) and make your entire night from ceremony to cocktail hour to reception of the highest quality. The band is the perfect mix of amazing vocalists who complement each other so well and other top quality band members. The dance floor was packed all night to the extent the dance floor was shaking at one point. The ballads at the beginning of dinner service were breathtaking. We had multiple people come up to us saying they didn't know we were having Adele at our Wedding (shoutout to Emily for her amazing ballad). I could write something on each member because they are that good!! We knew we wanted an awesome band as that can make your wedding and Elevation did not disappoint. “In today's world everything is extremely overpriced and service is terrible. My wedding was very stressful for me because of this. I did not have a DJ or a Photographer and honestly was considering just something small scale, until I talked to Ed from DJ Double E. I would give them 10 stars out 5. From the minute I talked to Ed it was a breath of fresh air from the million other outrageously priced DJ's. The price is unbeatable but that's not why I would recommend them. They are absolutely phenomenal and made my entire wedding. The music was perfect from ceremony to the last dance. They were so professional, so involved and so fun. We had a daytime (early) wedding. It is so challenging to get people up and have a good time at 12:30 in the afternoon, I was having meltdowns about it, they reassured me but had the entire place up and having fun. You didn't know if it was day or night. They helped us more than the attendants at the venue. Over 100 guests said how amazing they were. The pictures they took could not be any better. Any other DJ who had packages like this (photo booth etc...) were THOUSANDS, yes THOUSANDS, more!!! I really hate to admit but I'm not easily pleased however I would put my name on the line for DJ Double E after how they made my wedding. DJ Double E exceeded all my and my husband's expectations and -consider yourself lucky if you hire them for any event. I'll be calling them again!!!”

Our wedding was small & intimate as we were coming out of covid times and it was the 1st extended family gathering (had we had a bigger venue and wedding overall we would have hired the entire band but we threw our wedding together in a few short months). Elliot was super easy to work with and offered a wide range of selections for what we needed/wanted. “Let’s start with “WOW!” We had a music festival themed wedding with four bands so music was a critical piece of our wedding weekend and the standards were high. We interviewed over 20 bands from the NYC area and decided to go with Vitamin M after really vibing with their band leader, JJ. And boy are we glad we did! JJ worked with us to curate the perfect performance for us and our guests. He was able to balance dance songs and classics alongside some custom requests that went off the beaten path of most traditional weddings from the likes of The Band, Talking Heads and The Clash. He even helped us surprise our guests with a singing introduction of the bride and groom. He took time to get to know us and was always happy to answer any questions we had. This was not a cookie cutter wedding band performance. This is a group of truly talented professional musicians putting on a real show. Stefan was incredibly professional, detailed, and fun to work with. He was so flexible with all the things we had going on. My husband & I were one of the many couples who had their original wedding plans derailed by Covid-19. When our originally booked music could not make our new date, they put us in contact with Anders, and we are so grateful for it! We booked Anders for our microwedding (20 guests) at terrain in Glen Mills, PA under 3 months before the big day. He was absolutely perfect for our microwedding! He was able to play live music through our ceremony, cocktail hour, and dinner and then transition to a DJ set-up for a bit of dancing to end the night. He performed in three locations during the night, and his transitions were completely seamless! He even learned a few songs that were important for us to include on our day, and when my sister couldn't attend the ceremony at the last minute due to Covid, he helped us to play a reading she recorded during the ceremony. “Highly, highly recommend the Barnstorm for a wedding or any event. We hired them for our wedding the last weekend of September 2019 in Montauk, and they absolutely put the night over the top! First and foremost, they are a great band; not your typical “wedding band”. They aren’t cookie cutter (i.e. you won’t hear them playing the same songs that you hear at every wedding) and they certainly aren’t stiff. They vibe off each other and the room. They are legitimately having a fun time performing with each other and that permeates throughout the room. Everyone will be up dancing, singing, drinking, and sweating their butts off, and having a blast! What to expect: -Professionalism. Brooks responds promptly and covers all bases. No detail will be overlooked during the planning stages. Day of, they get to the venue well ahead of time to sound check and make sure everything is sounding perfect. During the event, they are great at providing direction and making sure everything runs smoothly. -Personalization and flexibility. The guys truly care about making the event as special as possible and are very open to any idea to bring the event over the top. In addition to our “special request” songs (which they nailed) the band was incredibly gracious at my request to join them onstage to “surprise” my wife and guests by playing a song along with them. It could not have gone over any better…my wife was thrilled and it absolutely brought the house down! -Party! They know what will get everyone up and moving. Their catalogue of songs is well over 200 and it includes all decades and genres. Multiple guests commented that they didn’t want to leave the dance floor to get dessert or go to the bathroom because every song was such an amazing jam. The Barnstorm is absolutely worth every penny. We knew they were the right band for our wedding the first moment we heard them at Hill Country, and we feel so lucky and grateful to the guys for playing our wedding. On top of it all, my wife, friends, and I get to continue to relive that night by seeing their gigs throughout NYC! We simply cannot say enough great things about The Barnstorm.”
