Our intimate 1837 Village Chapel, charming outdoor Village Green with picturesque Gazebo, or newly-restored 1837 Niles-Barnard House await your special day. Most wedding packages include time for a rehearsal prior to your wedding and access to all of the historic buildings on the day of your event. Rental packages include time to decorate, assemble guests, take photographs, and remove decorations. If needed, additional time may be purchased.

Renowned “movie palace” architect C. Howard Crane designed Detroit’s historic Garden Theater, a commission he earned after he opened his own firm in Detroit in 1908. In addition to the Garden Theater, Crane has 250 theaters to his credit, 62 of which were built in Detroit, like The Majestic, The Fox, Orchestra Hall, the Detroit Opera House, and The Fillmore Detroit. One of the city’s earliest neighborhood theaters, the Garden Theater opened to the public in 1912. With its 900-seat capacity, it was one of the largest theaters built outside downtown; it originally hosted live stage shows and motion pictures. As the name implies, Crane cleverly incorporated vines, birds and other garden-style decorations in its design to immerse patrons in an outdoor-like experience. After decades in ruin, the theater underwent a multi-million-dollar restoration and was rededicated in 2013, a century after its initial debut, as part of Midtown’s vibrant resurgence.

The Corner Ballpark, also known as the "Willie Horton Field of Dreams at The Corner Ballpark", is a multi-purpose sports stadium located in the Corktown neighborhood of Detroit. Built on the former site of Tiger Stadium the indoor opened in 2018 and is the home of the Detroit Police Athletic League. Our banquet facility is available for all kinds of events! Lafayette Greens is a green space and urban garden in the heart of downtown Detroit, next door to the famous Coney Islands and across the street from the fabulous Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. The award-winning garden, created by Kenneth Weikal Landscape Architecture, was donated to The Greening of Detroit by Compuware in 2014 and is a place of beauty. A certified pollinator garden, focused on growing plants for butterflies, native and honey bees and birds, your ceremony could take place amongst the fluttering of butterflies, chirping of birds and happy hum of bees.
