Fav Detroit Venue!
The Eastern is a wonderful industrial, versatile venue in the heart of Eastern Market in downtown Detroit! This venue comes as a blank slate. So many different options as to how you can dress this venue up for a wedding/event. Be sure to use the few large wooden tables it comes with for your buffet table, hors d’oeuvre table, seating outdoors, head-table etc. Look no further than The Eastern or The Norwood for your wedding! I would recommend this venue to any couple looking to have a wedding in a unique spot, rather than a ballroom.

The venue is very versatile, very easy to customize the space to fit your specific vision. A true architectural beauty!

The Eastern
The Eastern Detroit was an absolutely perfect venue for our wedding with its spacious and beautiful rustic feel. We were able to make the space our own and really put our personal touch on everything. The only downside was their communication - we were initially working with one coordinator but then got moved over to Emily, who lacked responsiveness and was not as effective in her communication. However, the quality of the venue itself was top-notch. They even upgraded us to Coke when we mentioned we didn't want their standard Faygo pop options. Overall, we're thrilled with how our wedding day turned out at this stunning, large, and high-quality venue.
