Hi! Courtney here (that's me on the left!). Shutter and Sound is the brainchild of renowned wedding videographer Ryan Geldermann. Ryan began his wedding videography career in 2010 in Los Angeles and quickly became recognized as one of the top videographers in the U.S.. After relocating to DC and still receiving countless inquiries from all corners of the country, Ryan decided to recruit and train a few talented friends so he could continue offering the quality wedding videography he’s known for in SoCal and eventually over 10 cities. Shutter and Sound is a very small group of filmmakers dedicated to turning your big day into a work of art.

Natalie is a Taiwanese-American photographer inspired by warmth & connection, reminiscent of her upbringing in Hawai'i. She graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Photography while working alongside fashion designers & directors on editorial and campaign productions. For over a decade, Natalie has directed her lens towards weddings, finding a meaningful depth in the relationships that she develops with her subjects and the cultural & physical environments that surround them. Her background in fashion marries a tender, documentarian perspective to provide refined imagery with an editorial edge without compromising the truth of what happened.

Zoe grew up in a small town in Western Canada, earned a degree in fashion design in Vancouver, and lived 12 awesome years in NYC, before recently relocating to Seattle WA. After a rewarding career as a women's footwear designer, she left the fashion industry behind to follow her passion of becoming a wedding and family photographer full-time.

Jacqueline Benét is a top Seattle wedding photographer with a refined eye and artistic vision for capturing genuine moments in a way that is elegant and flattering. Her perspective comes from years of experience as a wife, mother, and professional to create photographs that you will cherish for a lifetime.

Many things have changed since I discovered photography at the age of 12, I've traveled the world, received my degree in marketing, got married to my favorite human, and even moved from my home country of Ukraine to the US (well, that's a story for some other time :)! Born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Anna spent nearly two decades training as a classical ballerina and photographing dance, often sneaking cameras backstage to shoot from the wings while still in costume. She was hooked on wedding photography instantly - the mosaic of emotion and energy that cascades across a wedding day felt like a natural extension of the magic she chased on stage as a dancer. Anna lives and works out of Seattle, though she’s lucky enough to follow her clients up and down the West Coast and occasionally across the globe.
