We had a wonderful experience with Mount Vernon Canyon Club as our wedding venue. The staff were very communicative and responsive throughout the planning process, which gave us peace of mind that everything was going smoothly. The open floor plan and beautiful mountain views provided a lovely backdrop for our special day. Their service was great and the staff were friendly and attentive. The venue has a spacious feel with good flow between indoor and outdoor areas. We hosted our wedding at The Rose and had the absolute best experience! My husband and I used Table Mountain as our wedding venue and it was spectacular! The staff was friendly, professional and helpful! Everything was communicated to us in a timely manner and all our plans were executed flawlessly. I recommend using their partners for food/DJ/Photography etc. It gave us peace of mind knowing all the “extra” things were taken care of and coordinated between TMME staff and the other vendors. I’m hoping not to need to get married again but if I ever need a professional, clean and beautiful place to hold any kind of event, I would definitely use Table Mountain again!

My now husband and I found ourselves in quite a predicament. Two days before our wedding our original venue canceled our event and we had to quickly find a new one that would accommodate for our vendors and guests. We were so lucky to find Hudson Gardens. The staff was extremely helpful during a stressful time. The venue was able to hold our 175 guests, had ample parking, plenty of resources for a catering team, and was absolutely beautiful with several great backdrops for group and individual photos. Its location was also very convenient. The staff helped our day run smoothly and I can truly say we had the best day of our lives!!

Professionalism. This group truly works as a team from Sales, to Planning, to Execution. The staff is extremely kind, patient, and knowledgeable. This was especially crucial for me as this was a destination wedding for me, so everything was accomplished virtually. The planning process was enjoyable, and for an out of town bride like me, the wedding planning binder was a lifesaver. The team the day-of was amazing. The extra, small touches were above and beyond what I expected. Value. It was amazing how far our dollar stretched at Ashley Ridge! At other venues, the cost of simply renting the empty space covered the venue space and so much more at Ashley Ridge. They have great decor and extra features that would be an additional fee at other venues like the greenery wall and cloud lighting. The food was absolutely delicious as well! They also provide a military discount! Location. This was an amazing spot for out-of-town guests as it sits by several hotels, restaurants, and things to do. The views of the mountains were stunning as well. There are several parks nearby for wedding party photos. There are tons of restaurants nearby for rehearsal dinners.

We planned our wedding at the Oxford in less than six months, and could not have been happier with the entire process. Brittany was incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and truly listened to what we wanted. She was relaxed and calm, but ALWAYS on top of it, and provided us many options as we weighed our priorities. The entire event felt so much like us. Planning and working with Brittany was made easy because she is so organized, and never imposed her own views on us (but gave great advice when we asked). We absolutely loved the accommodations offered to us and to our guests, and the service at the hotel was exemplary - all of the staff are so friendly! There were no hidden or tricky costs, and the food was absolutely phenomenal - people still talk about it over a year later! We found such ease in being able to host all in one spot - many of our guests stayed at the hotel, we held the ceremony and reception there, and transportation was super easy for everyone. Guests enjoyed the cocktail lounge after the reception, and many ate next store at the Urban Farmer for breakfast. It's a special place to go back to now - we loved our wedding and the planning process, and cannot recommend working with Brittany enough!

We had our wedding (90 people) at the Denver Athletic Club in September 2024 and had the absolute best experience! We were lucky to work with the amazing Brooke for over a year in planning and coordinating our wedding, and we were so grateful for the beautiful ballroom as a backup reception location when the weather decided to do CO weather things. We were still able to have our ceremony and cocktail hour on the roofdeck, which was one of the main reasons we picked the DAC (super cool skyline views). The bowling alley afterparty was also a hit with guests! Another great perk of the DAC is how many spaces there are for getting ready, which made hair and makeup convenient and kept the groom and groomsmen on a different floor until pictures. Food and service were great too, it was nice having catering included so we didn't have to involve and coordinate outside food & bev.

The spaces at this hotel are spectacular. From the planning team, to the staff, everything was taken care of and amazing! My husband and I absolutely LOVED our wedding weekend at The Maven! With a majority of our guest list coming from out of town, we wanted to introduce our friends and family to the city we love, and having our home base at The Maven was a HUGE hit. Our guests loved being able to explore the Dairy Block and it ended up being built-in entertainment for the weekend (and everyone loved the rooms - our suite was top notch!!). When it came to our ceremony and reception, The Maven made the whole process seamless and beautiful. The staff was communicative throughout the planning process, and made what could’ve been a stressful experience really fun. Oh, and the food was GREAT! We got so many compliments!! I can’t forget to mention cocktail hour… Having it at Polka Lola was AWESOME and we literally didn’t have to add anything to the space - it’s perfect and fun as-is. Having it right across the hall from our ceremony/reception made it easy for everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our wedding day and I can’t recommend having your wedding at The Maven/Polka Lola enough!

I recently had the pleasure of hosting an event at 17th by Magnolia, and as an event planner and designer I could not recommend them enough! The staff was extremely accommodating and available for our every need. The venue itself is gorgeous, and the perfect place for a downtown wedding or event. Knoebel Events is a beautiful interior with excellent friendly staff, including a staff member with a lifetime achievement award in events. We loved the interior stone and metal accent plus wine cellar. We'd love to come back and rent the wine cellar for our anniversary. The brick patio was an great cocktail space. We loved that we had an indoor atrium option for that too. There were plenty of bar locations to accommodate our guests. The tasting is not to be missed. It was a great opportunity to get a sense of their style of food. We gravitated to the sauces made with wine- very good. The beef short ribs were top notch so much so we had two helpings! The chef was very easy to work with as we had some special cultural food requests. He spent one on one time with my husband for a taste test of his special request. So speak up and see what they can do to work with you! Pricing worked for our budget! We found it to be one of the most affordable places to have a reception in Denver. Trust me, we research everywhere in Colorado! We wanted a step above an inexpensive church hall / outdoor venue at park but couldn't afford local mansions with caterers wanting a minimum spent, hotels with less character (or you would have to spend money on environmental decor on top of table decor, country/private clubs with required minimums / overpriced food, nor restaurants with limited space and a different vibe. You get beauty, class, style, versatility, a wine cellar, grand staircase, patio, atrium, and excellent service! FYI, there is a service fee in lieu of a tip which in the end worked for us. They were very forthcoming with all pricing. Trixie Farmer and team went above and beyond. They were always so friendly plus cool and calm under pressure. The student workers were very motivated and on top of it. I did not see any lazy workers. These student workers want to be there- hospitality is part of their study and career choice. We had many small details so we were pleased they helped set these up. Trixie took the time to get to know us. She made excellent recommendations and was very open about what we would and would not need while still leaving us the freedom to decide. She checked in with us, gave us tours, and let us do some small mock set ups of our center pieces. She also welcomed us when we arrived from the church ceremony. This is an event center and a school of hospitality so give the event center a little grace as the school year can effect how busy they are- finals week, breaks, etc. Being a former teacher myself, it was easy to understand this dynamic but as a bride I was eager to get the next email communication follow up. These employees know what they are doing so no matter what, it worked out! My only criticism is that due to a booking following our event we cut our reception shorter than we had hoped. We knew this was possible up front but an additional last minute request for 30 min less was a little disappointing. We were compensated- so that was pleasing. Overall you can not go wrong with Knoebel Events and with Trixie Farmer- Lifetime Achievement Award winner!

My husband and I have been visiting the Botanic Gardens for years and it was the only venue we wanted for our wedding day. The wedding day was everything we had hoped for and many of our guests commented afterward how beautiful it was. We also knew ahead of time that we wanted an intimate wedding and the Woodland Mosaic and Solarium as our location. The weather was fairly warm on our date but our guests didn't feel it because the venue has lots of shade with the solarium and trees. It also felt like a more secluded space, which is something that we wanted. Our wedding date was a very popular Saturday in June, and I believe 5 other weddings were taking place at the same time! Because our location felt so private, we hardly noticed. The only exception being the "golden hour" for photography, where we were taking photos in the Japanese garden and carefully maneuvering around other couples also taking photos. If you want to be the only bride in sight, keep this in mind. We didn't care though. Because we had such a small wedding (40 people), we chose not to have a wedding planner or day-of coordinator. I would recommend one for this venue if you have a larger group or if you don't have a lot of helping hands. We had a lot of help from our families on the day of the event - helping set up things like the gifts/card table and brining in liquor in coolers. We also carried out a lot of items ourselves at the end of the night. This isn't a complaint from our end, as we expected to do some of the coordination ourselves. Just keep in mind that if you don't want to have to do anything on your wedding day, be sure to hire someone for that role. Emily was great at coordinating from the Botanic Gardens side. She gave us helpful information when needed, responded quickly, and we also met her about a month in advance to walk through the site, going over details on things like chairs and tables. In addition, you get an hour walkthrough during the day before your event. On the day of, I booked a touch-up room (included in the price). They have a limited catering list and we were happy to use Serendipity Catering for our food, bartenders, service staff, desserts and floral, which made coordinating everything a lot easier! I highly recommend working with Brie and Raven. Another perk of booking this venue is that you can bring in your own alcohol, which can save money. Negatively, it was a bit of work for our families to haul all of this in and out while in formalwear. Depending on which space you book, you are also only able to have acoustic music. We wanted (and hired) a string quartet, so this worked for us. However, if you want to dance the night away with a DJ, you would need to book elsewhere for the reception or book their indoor ballroom. The best surprise for us was a free couples membership for a year to the Botanic Gardens. We are so excited to have the opportunity to spend more time here, enjoying their many event offerings throughout the year. We can't wait to return year after year!

What a lovely space! I was here recently for a meeting and it was such a great space - could absolutely picture a stunning wedding taking place here. Elevated spaces, hotel rooms, and super yummy food all in the same place - talk about a one stop shop. The food we had for the meeting was fantastic and the service was flawless, so I can only imagine what it would be like for a wedding. The overall look of the space is stunning and you can tell that a lot of care and attention goes into the design and into making the space feel luxury and unique and still cozy at the same time!!

We had our wedding at Balistreri on October 26th, and it could not have been a more perfect day thanks to the venue and the incredible staff. Mattie and Katy made the planning process a breeze, helped us pick our food out, took our wishes and feedback into account, and truly just gave us everything we could have wanted out of this day. They're incredibly flexible to your vision but will provide input and thoughts when needed, ensuring that everything is set up for success. The food and the wine is INCREDIBLE. We got so many compliments all night and after the fact about the dishes (lamb, salmon, and risotto), the appetizers, the desserts, the late night snack, and especially the cabernet. They're also incredibly accommodating to allergies, working with us for our friends and family with dietary restrictions to make sure everyone is aware of ingredients. We attended a tasting event to try a variety of food options, and then had a private tasting to finalize our menu, where Mattie and the chefs sat down with us and helped us tailor our menu to our exact wishes. The set-up, bartending, and wait stuff were all top notch - making our day run incredibly smoothly. The inclusion of chairs, linens, flatware, etc. and catering in house was a huge draw for us in terms of ease of planning. They have some highly recommended vendors for entertainment and alcohol delivery, who are not mandatory to use, but who worked seamlessly with the venue to create an easy and low stress day. Lastly, the venue is absolutely beautiful. It is set up so naturally perfectly that we barely felt the need for additional decor. The garage doors being open between the ceremony and reception spaces allowed for such a seamless flow and natural feeling cocktail hour. Our event of 120 guests fit the space wonderfully. We got married right at sunset, late in the year, and were gifted with the most gorgeous weather. I truly cannot rave enough about how wonderful it was to host at Balistreri. We had the most magical day and could not have done it without this wonderful venue. The amount of personal touches and care they put into hosting your event shows why it is such a popular and well loved place.

First off, the location is beautiful and so is the inside. Lots of different types of venues within the building so super customizable. I was there for a holiday party on 12/2/22 and was so impressed. I got to see each space they had and it was beautifully decorated. Great staff, very clean (including the bathrooms) and I would definitely go back to any event being held there or highly considerate for my own event in the future!

In that time we catered thousands of weddings. The expectations among a some groups of wedding families simply became impossible to meet. If you, too, are becoming worn out by what you are finding in the wedding industry you likely have found a great alternative at 2 Penguins.

We had the most wonderful wedding here on 9/10! It was the perfect blend of a few classic traditions and a laid back space that all of our guests raved about. Dan was great to work with from the start, and helped day-of to make sure our event ran smoothly. He and all the awesome staff nailed the small details and great service. We chose one of the cocktail style menus and the food was delicious, plus all of the Colorado beers and spirits were a hit with guests. If you're looking for a versatile and really reasonably priced venue, I would highly recommend choosing 2 Penguins.

The Chateaux At Fox Meadows was the perfect venue for our wedding day. The event space features gorgeous natural lighting from the large windows and a spacious patio that was ideal for our outdoor cocktail hour. Our event planner(s), Sarah & Kayla, were extremely prompt, professional, and friendly in all of our communications leading up to the big day. They were very accommodating with any special requests we had to personalize the space and make it our own. The staff the day-of was also incredibly helpful, working seamlessly behind the scenes to ensure everything flowed smoothly for us and our guests. We received so many compliments from our guests on the beautiful venue and exceptional service from the Chateaux team. They were affordable and have an In-House Vendor Package you can choose that includes pretty much everything you need for your wedding day! THE GOOD STUFF The Grange fit our needs really well for a 50 person baby shower. With the setup we chose, the room felt full but not crowded and allowed for ample room for people to move around. The fireplace added a nice atmosphere without making the room hot. The bathrooms and space were clean when we arrived. The Grange offers several table options which made it super easy for us to setup a kids zone, silent trivia area, and guest tables. Given that tables and chairs are included in the rental fee, it is fairly priced. A FEW BUMMERS While we wanted to have the garage doors open for an open-air feeling, it seemed that even the smallest bit of wind would knock over all of our decorations. Because we couldn't have the garage doors open, we did confine everything to indoors which changed our plans a bit with outdoor yard games as it wasn't super intuitive to go outside to the covered patio. We also would have liked to have been asked about the signage The Grange put outside. We had a co-ed baby shower but when we pulled up, the sign only listed the mother-to-be's name. Not a huge deal, but definitely could have been avoided. IMPORTANT CONSIDERATIONS A few things to note that may be important to you: 1. All setup, teardown, and cleaning is YOUR responsibility. So, if you don't want to haul tables and chairs, take out the trash, and mop the floor, this venue is not for you. (Note: We were made well aware of this prior to booking so it isn't a surprise but definitely a big consideration as it cuts into your rental time.) 2. The microphone works well for the main room but is very difficult to hear in the "back area" where the restrooms and food counters are. 3. When working on your budget, be sure to factor in the cost of getting event insurance as this is required and is an additional cost. (Again, we were made aware of this in advance so it wasn't a surprise.) 4. No table coverings/linens/tablecloths are provided so be sure you factor this into planning and your budget.

Finding your perfect venue for your perfect day is no easy task, and I had the hardest time finding a venue that combined my husband's rustic taste with my own elegant style. That is, until we found Villa Parker! It had everything we wanted, it was the perfect size for our 70 guest wedding (but we had room for much more than that) and it came with all the beautiful additions and inclusions we wanted! Including the best day-of coordinator a girl can ask for. Communication and organization was a breeze and Villa Parker really takes the guesswork out of a lot of things involving wedding planning! Best of all? They are pet-friendly! So we were able to bring our sweet pup into the mix along with a local rescue to raise money for a non-profit organization! Two puppies were adopted at our wedding thanks to the wonderful people at Villa Parker. This is one gorgeous venue to remember.

I can only say good things about the Greenbriar Inn!! The Greenbriar team was great to work all the way from planning the event to the night of. I encourage you to book this place for upcoming weddings or events. The venue is even more beautiful in person compared with the photos. Planning: GBI team was incredibly detailed and caring about the nuances of planning our event. When we'd come with a suggested plan, they were very engaged in providing strategic recommendations to make it run as smoothly as possible. Property/Grounds: The property is stunning. We received endless compliments from our guests about how beautiful the ceremony site, cocktail hour location, and dining room were. You really feel like you're in a magical oasis. Food & Drink: The food is a highlight of this venue since they are a fine dining restaurant! The appetizers were a hit, especially the mini beef wellingtons. People loved the cupcakes, even though I didn't get the chance to try it! I was nervous about the bar bill given it's a pay-by-drink approach, but the GBI team did a great job proactively trying to keep it as low as possible/within budget. Pets: This venue is pet friendly! They were so amazing about accommodating our dog Leo so he could be there for our special day.

Everything went so amazingly well and we were happy with our entire experience from start to finish. They were incredibly accommodating and flexible and catered to our needs/wants to perfection. I was so impressed how smooth everything went the day of the wedding and was constantly complimented on the venue, staff and how wonderful everything went. Our DJ Joe that came with our package was incredible our coordinators Peyton and Misti were amazing as well. They even threw in a few upgrades and gave us a beautiful wedding gift that made our day even more special. I couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful wedding and experience.

Dickens Opera House was an absolute pleasure to work with for the wedding. Their communication style was quick, communicative, and caring - they were always available to answer our questions and address any concerns. The venue itself was even more impressive in person, with lots of natural lighting, wonderful private rooms, a full bar, and an elevator for guests who couldn't or didn't want to use the stairs. They went above and beyond to ensure the day went smoothly, accommodating our specific food requests and making sure we got exactly what was wanted. I highly recommend Dickens Opera House to any couples looking for a beautiful, versatile wedding venue with a wonderful staff.

The Lodge at Breckenridge sits 10,200 feet above sea level and three miles from downtown Breckenridge. The Lodge has three different event spaces fit for any kind of wedding. Couples who opt for an outdoor wedding will find no better place than the Sky View Deck. The Mountain View Conference Room can accommodate 140 guests for reception seating, while the Foyer Room is better suited to cocktail receptions. Catering can be provided by the in-house catering team with a variety of packages and services to choose from. The property has two private guest houses that are perfect for the wedding party’s stay. The interiors feature cozy, rustic furnishings, and decor.

If you’re looking for a scenic mountain wedding, the lodge is perfect! Being able to get married on the huge deck overlooking the Rockies was the perfect backdrop for our special day. The convenience of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces all being together along with the ability for guests to stay on site really sold us over. We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. The staff were friendly and helped make our day stress free with setup, teardown, and bar and food service. The only downside is the space is slightly outdated, but that can be covered with decor. We also didn’t like that we couldn’t have a hotel block for our wedding guests and there wasn’t any sort of discount or upgrade for the bride and groom even though we had many people stay at The Lodge. We recommend event guests book rooms well in advance to make sure they have a room there if they want one. Picking a wedding venue isn’t easy and we’re ultimately glad with where we ended up. We would definitely recommend The Lodge at Breck!

Prior to seeing Lionscrest in person, my top choice was a different venue. After seeing Lionscrest nothing else compared and we looked at 20 venues. It is well maintained, kept up. Lionscrest was so easy to work with, helped develop timelines, includes dishes and linens. The mountain view is amazing. Guest raved about the venue. Staff helped me set up and get ready for the wedding, communication was super easy. We did the venue only option so I could pick catering. It is a family business so no need to worry about turnover of contact staff. Lionscrest goes with the brides vision and keeps the bride in mind. Every wedding is custom to the bride's wishes, it is not cookie cutter! This is the best venue in Colorado and staff are wedding experts. I encourage everyone to look at it, as you will fall in love and this will be the best choice for your wedding. I cant say enough about how amazing Lionscrest is.
