For over a century, Cairnwood has been hosting wedding receptions within its halls. The tradition began with John and Gertrude Pitcairn opening their home for a marriage celebration in 1896. Today, the Estate is available for sit-down dinners with 200 guests or an opulent stations-style event for up to 275. The graciousness of the Estate provides a setting that departs from the ordinary with endless indoor and outdoor possibilities. The distinguished architecture, terraces, grand staircase, balconies, and flowering gardens inspire couples to welcome guests into their own spacious mansion for a unique and memorable celebration.

Hello! We are Ben and Annie Judd, the owners/operators of Heron's Hollow. We have 25 years of Air Force service between us and are also parents to two little boys. Our #1 priority at Heron's Hollow is making sure you are relaxed and truly enjoy your wedding weekend. We only host 10 weddings a year, since we give you the whole 31 acres for an entire weekend, as well as provide 5-star overnight accommodations for 30 people. You can leisurely set up your wedding exactly the way you want it. Have your rehearsal on site the night before, sleep on property, and have no worries about traveling to your wedding! We provide tables, chairs, arches, greenery walls, luxury trailer bathrooms, handmade wooden bars, wood rounds, ball jars, and so many more accessories! French Creek Golf Club offers a stunning venue for all of your special events. New world amenities meet historic decor in our versatile 3000 square foot ballroom, Terrace Room and restored 1820 bank barn. In addition, several beautiful outdoor spaces allow for flexibility for both ceremony and reception.

Historic Poole Forge is a 26-acre site with a preserved historic Ironmaster’s mansion, children’s playground, picnic pavilion, ball field, Nature Trail, Riparian Buffers, wildflower meadows, many beautiful gardens and a covered bridge along the Conestoga River in Eastern Lancaster County. We currently host a wide range of free public events, recreational and educational experiences. We restored our 1770’s Ironmaster’s mansion that serves as a heritage/community center and also a venue for private and public celebrations. We have also expanded our environmental and educational programs and opportunities for both children and adults while continuing our preservation of the Conestoga Creek, historic iron forge and grounds.

"Where the sky meets water." A country estate of the first order, Welkinweir is nestled into a hillside of 197 acres in the heart of Chester County. The property takes its name from the Old English translation of "where the sky meets the water." To this end, five ponds and a meandering brook are just the beginning of a true visual feast. Remnants of a 200-year-old stone barn, a springhouse, protected forests, abundant wildlife and a 55-acre arboretum paint a scene of incredible beauty and tranquility. Formal gardens and terraces surround the venerable estate house, its earliest roots traced back to the 1740s. Listed on the National Historic Register, the residence lends a time-honored backdrop for indoor/outdoor events. Welkinweir is the home of Green Valley Watershed Association, a not-for-profit organization with a mission to protect and preserve the water resources of Northern Chester County through advocacy and education. We offer a variety of private dining and event options, accommodating parties ranging in size from as few as 12 guests up to as many as 50 guests. Our second story provides a beautiful and private event space with a modern farmhouse look and feel. A fully serviced bar, 2 private bathrooms, and even a private balcony, are just a few of the perks to hosting your event at Bloom.

The Barn at Flying Hills is a 100 year old barn with it's authentic stone walls, barnwood floors, and beautiful ceremony garden out back. The Barn seats up to 125 guests and you are welcome to choose your own caterer and vendors to bring with you to your unique wedding. With the ceremony garden out back and two separate event rooms included with the venue rental, there is plenty of room to have your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all in one place!

The Reading Country Club grand ballroom, our most popular reception venue, comfortably serves approximately 250 guests and has a large dance floor. Between anniversary dinners, baby showers, and birthday parties, there are endless occasions to get together and celebrate at Reading Country Club.
