Millwick is an excellent event venue and wedding site for up to 175 people for ceremonies and receptions. Originally built in the 1920’s in an area that has long served as the city’s seafood market east of Downtown, the building has lived many lives in its century of use; it’s been a hotel, a brothel, a fish and oyster company, and a commercial site for everything from glass blowing to marijuana cultivation. This mysterious history subtly informed our re-invention of the space.

We are a nonprofit multipurpose sports and activities center in Downtown Los Angeles. Our mission is to provide a facility for youth, families and seniors that offers sports, community activities, and opportunities to connect visitors to Japanese American culture and a vibrant, sustainable Little Tokyo. We have 5 main rental spaces (Plaza & Stage, Terrace, Community Room, Courtyard, and Gym) and an underground parking lot. Plaza & Stage: The perfect setting for weddings, concerts, and events of all kinds. Strands of bistro lighting are draped above while lush vegetation, trees, and shrubs surround the plaza. Terrace: The outdoor terrace wraps provides views of Los Angeles St and the Plaza & Stage below. Green space adorns the terrace, which also features a children's playground, community garden, and mural. Community Room: This multi-purpose room accommodates classes, meetings, and more. Features a built-in TV and floor-to-ceiling glass that provide views of the courtyard.

Redbird is carved into one of the City’s most historic architectural gems - the former rectory building of Vibiana. Built in 1876, Vibiana is an award-winning, chef and restaurateur-driven, full-service former cathedral-turned-event venue like no other in Los Angeles. Since 2012, Amy Knoll Fraser and Chef Neal Fraser have operated the property, adding their flagship restaurant Redbird, along with 5 private dining spaces in the rectory building adjacent to Vibiana. Vibiana offers an extensive selection of beverages curated by Redbird | Vibiana Bar Director Tobin Shea and Wine Director Matt Fosket. Along with the Vibiana culinary, beverage and event management teams the Frasers provide restaurant level service with every detail considered. Great care was taken to keep original historic details intact while modern touches like a state of the art lighting and sound system, and high quality, custom rental equipment were added. The beauty of the architecture of the Main Hall and its lush courtyard provides an incredibly versatile backdrop for a stunning event that feels both intimate and grand.

The Majestic Downtown is unlike any other wedding venue in Los Angeles. The magic is in the history of the arched windows, in the curve of the marble pillars, in the intricacy of the hand-painted ceiling. We are the venue for the couples who notice the details and want something utterly timeless and one-of-a-kind. We recognize that everyone has different visions of their big day, which is why we are one of the few venues that allows you to bring in all of your own vendors. While we have an excellent in-house caterer, their services are an option, not a requirement. Even the crystals that cascade from the chandeliers are removable, so that we may transition from rustic to glamorous in the span of a couple of hours. The complete freedom to make your vision a reality is what makes us unique.

We are a Top floor penthouse in the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. The perfect space for gatherings or to celebrate a special event. There is no other space like this. We have packages for you to be able to customize the ceiling to a theme of your choice. We can split the space into two sections or you can buy the full space out. We have 6 restrooms total onsite as well as 2 prep kitchen areas and a spacious balcony. Minimum hourly depends on day of the week or type of event. We run our space in time slots not hourly We require a security team to insure the event runs smoothly. This is a separate cost and depends on the capacity. We charge a $2500 refundable security deposit via email invoice. This amount is returned within 4-5 business days of the event once everything checks out.

For weddings as small at 30 or as big at 400, we have the right space for you. The Parish Center was renovated in 2022/23 to give it a modern look while maintaining the historic foundation of our space.
