About this venue

The Majestic Downtown is unlike any other wedding venue in Los Angeles. The magic is in the history of the arched windows, in the curve of the marble pillars, in the intricacy of the hand-painted ceiling. We are the venue for the couples who notice the details and want something utterly timeless and one-of-a-kind. We recognize that everyone has different visions of their big day, which is why we are one of the few venues that allows you to bring in all of your own vendors. While we have an excellent in-house caterer, their services are an option, not a requirement. Even the crystals that cascade from the chandeliers are removable, so that we may transition from rustic to glamorous in the span of a couple of hours. The complete freedom to make your vision a reality is what makes us unique.

North Hall

The North Hall maintains the ambiance of the South Hall, yet is personal and intimate- perfect for the smaller gathering. It is the ideal setting for a wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, luncheon or any special event. The North Hall is 4,900 square feet, and can accommodate up to 150 guests for a sit down dinner, and 250 for a cocktail party.

Grand Hall

Think the Great Gatsby; A 1921 Glamorous & Historical Events Venue Designed by Schultze and Weaver Located in Downtown LA!

The Grand Hall is the North & South Hall combined. The centerpiece of the hall is a dramatic marble staircase that leads to the Mezzanine for a gallery view of the entire venue. The Grand Hall offers 15,400 square feet on the ground level and 4,000 square feet on the Mezzanine. It can accommodate 600 guests for a sit-down dinner or up to 1,200 for a cocktail party.

Reserve

This space brings a brand new nightlife destination where you can host private events, filming and much more.

Located right below us is our sister property The Reserve. When you step through these doors you can expect an enchanting, radiating and sophisticated experience. The Reserve is 5,100 square feet and can accommodate up to 700 guests. 3 Full bars, 6 LED Tv’s with digital media inputs, A projector USB controlled and with Digital In, Biema and BOSE Sound System, 2 Fully Equipped DJ Booths, Dance Floor Lighting, Custom LED Lighting Packages and much more!

South Hall

The spacious South Hall is perfect for any and all types of events. It's historical preservation is captivating, making it ideal for a wedding, conference, social event, fundraising gala and more. It includes a foyer, raised stage, full bar, and two grand staircases to the Mezzanine. The South Hall is 10,500 square feet and can accommodate up to 400 guests on the ground level, 200 on the Mezzanine for a sit-down dinner, and 800 for a cocktail party on both levels combined.
