The Country Club of Lansing, located in Lansing, Michigan, is a venue open to hosting wedding receptions. This private country club was first founded in 1908 by a small group of people who had the sole intention of creating a golf club. It slowly expanded over the following decades, eventually growing to include an 18-hole golf course, swimming pool, tennis courts, fitness facility, and golf practice range. The clubhouse underwent extensive renovations at the onset of the millennium. Augusta Creek is located in a secluded area, sitting on 104 acres of land. Wildlife and nature completely surrounds the entire property, giving the whole venue a private event experience. Wedding ceremonies can be held inside the main hall or outside all year around. The property also has a one of a kind bridal suite for the party to get ready and hang out on the morning of the big day. It's fully stocked with plenty of entertainment on the men's side, including a golf simulator. We began our journey in 2015 with a dusty gravel pit and vision for a new home. The gem was the stunning 30 acre crystal clear lake. After purchasing the property we found ourselves hosting church activities and work functions as people truly loved being here. Slowly we began adding amenities to the property. First a huge rope swing, (that we have since taken down). It was fun watching the kids fly into the water. Then the 110’ water slide kept all the kids smiling as they splashed into the lake. Then in 2020 our daughter was engaged to a great guy. As she began looking for that special place to host her wedding we came to realize that it was right here. We wanted it to be a very special place and we went to work.

Long before this space became Archival Brewing, it used to be a sprawling golf course and club house. Transformed to what it is today, a Brewery with a beautiful view. On good days you can head outside onto the deck or into the Biergarten. Here you'll find three fire pits surrounded by cozy Adirondack chairs. There are four cornhole courts and two bocce ball courts. Seating for up to 100 but plenty of space for more to roam. Archival Brewing prides itself in its historic brews. Taking recipes right out of history for you to enjoy today. Enjoy Beer, Cider, and Mead. As well as handcrafted farm to table food!

The only private event space offered at Founders, The Centennial Room features a fully-staffed bar with eight taps (including one nitro tap), and can accommodate groups up to 65 seated (with additional seating for 50 on the deck.) Located on the second story of our facility, the room has a small lounge area with comfortable leather chairs and two walls of windows - east and south-facing - looking out over the city of Grand Rapids. Our wraparound porch connects to the event space via two glass-garage doors. The room is outfitted with three large flat-screen televisions and a retractable projector screen for PowerPoint or video presentations. A podium with a microphone can be available for any speeches or group announcements. The Centennial Room can be booked in 3-hour minimum blocks. Additional time can be added at a price per-hour charge if available.
