The property is inclusive of eight and a half acres, full of scenic nature and ideal photo backdrops. Inside, couples will find separate get-ready spaces as well as a staircase tucked under a stunning balcony that leads back to the primary celebration area. Also accessible is a large professional prep area for caterers. This space allows a location for chefs to use, composing food to be served fresh. Fitted with a built-in bar, this venue offers up a dedicated area where couples can serve the drinks of their choice. During the celebration, in the main room, an 85-inch screen may be used for slideshows or presentations. These elements combined with the charm of a wood-carved hall provides a cozy setting with modern amenities. Outdoors, there are also plenty of spectacular spots to discover. ​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for over 34 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have 30+ years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Walter Kurzweil had deep ties to the Raymore community as well as had family connections to the Maxine Dean family (Walter was her Uncle), another prominent Raymore name. ​ If you go back even further, our property was granted to a young man in 1857 as part of the “ScripWarrant Act of 1847.” At that time, public land was gifted through this Act to military personnel for their service in the Mexican-American War.

Whether a wedding, party, or hosting a fundraiser, the Lodge at Ironwoods will make your vision come to life. Located inside Leawood's beautiful Ironwoods Park, the Lodge has vaulted ceilings with exposed wooden beams, metal chandeliers, a full commercial kitchen, and an attached patio overlooking the woods. Our open vendor policy allows for the renter to customize the decor, menu, and entertainment as they see best fit. Beautiful attached patio for outdoor ceremony opportunity seating up to 200. Housed in the restored Fire Station No. 31, Fire House KC has been meticulously renovated with tradition and elegance. Throughout the entire space, several preserved accessories and artifacts from the era are showcased, including the original fire pole, antique fire hose cart, and fire hose shaft. Blending the history of the area with modern infusions, Fire House KC is now a classy, elegant, and charming event space. The main hall showcases original brick walls and windows, with antique chandeliers adding a touch of elegant refinement. The second floor, which once housed the offices and sleeping quarters for one-duty workers, now features multiple suites for the wedding parties to prepare as well as a perfect intimate ceremony room. Newlyweds-to-be can host both ceremonies and receptions at Fire House KC and have access to the entire space.

Vintage View by Sue is a stunning country wedding venue that is located in Appleton City, Missouri. Owned and operated by two women named Susan, this unique venue offers a charming appeal that has been carefully curated over the years. The year 2020 saw the opening of their Lakeview Venue location. This attractive spot is well-suited to clients who seek rustic aesthetics with antique accents.

The Pilgrim Center and its predecessor have been building community in midtown, Kansas City, Missouri for nearly 50 years. In the late-1960’s, a group of involved neighborhood leaders first gathered in Westport to address the issues of violence and crime that were overtaking their historic neighborhood. Out of their discussions, the Westport Allen Center was born, and two young seminarians, Roger and Liz Coleman, were invited to lead this organization. The Westport Allen Center purchased a building and began offering the space free to groups interested in improving the community. Before long, the first Free Clinic in the area opened, rehearsal space was provided for what would become the Kansas City Ballet, the Allen Edison school was founded, and affordable housing for seniors created in the neighborhood. Making childcare, education, healthcare, senior living, and arts programming available to the area were big steps in rebuilding a healthier community for Westport.

This historic space first opened for business in 1922 as a silent movie house, called the Rosedale Theatre, and was revamped as The Vox Theatre in the 1940s. The building's art deco craftsmanship, seen through vibrant brick inlays offers a dramatic entrance into the space. Once inside, the 6,500 square foot building boasts 20' high ceilings and sweeping views throughout the main event space; your gaze will wander to the original stage valence framed by customized architectural lighting. Plush red velvet curtains greet you upon entering the space, and boldly frame the 16ft wide elevated stage. Where theatre seating once was, the space is now completely open concept, offering uninterrupted sight-lines and allowing creative flexibility in how you arrange your event.

In April 2022, leading independent promoter Mammoth purchased and took ownership of the historic theater. As with many of the company’s ventures, mammoth’s goal is to build on the venue’s amazing legacy of artists while continuing to attract and grow a diversity of performers to the theater. the company also remains committed to preserving the building’s history and enhancing the performer and fan experience.
