About this venue

​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for over 34 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have 30+ years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Walter Kurzweil had deep ties to the Raymore community as well as had family connections to the Maxine Dean family (Walter was her Uncle), another prominent Raymore name. ​ If you go back even further, our property was granted to a young man in 1857 as part of the “ScripWarrant Act of 1847.” At that time, public land was gifted through this Act to military personnel for their service in the Mexican-American War.

Rogge Family Vineyard

There is a lot of history here, but our hope is that you walk away with memories of this farm all your own.

Welcome to the Rogge Family Vineyard and Event Space. Our mission is to offer a private party rental space rich in rustic barn charm for the hosting of a joyful and memorable event. Our intent is to offer a "blank canvas" of our event space for you to make your own...bring in your own vendors, create your own floor plans, and decorate as you choose.

Included in this room:

-Main level of the large Red Barn. -Main level and second floor loft space of the Dairy Barn (including The Ready Room). -Ample parking near the barns.​ -Patio and open ground between the Dairy Barn and the Red Barn. -Open ground between the Dairy Barn and Vineyard. -Restrooms. -Fire pit. -Outdoor Grill. -13 eight-foot rectangular tables, 12 six-foot diameter round tables, and 200+ folding chairs -Use of the grounds for photography anytime before the day of the event (ie. engagement photos, bride/groom photos, or wedding party photos; special arrangements must be made). -Open vendor policy; choose your own vendors. -Some décor, props, furniture, lighting, etc. included with the Event Space. You are allowed to bring your own decor and lighting to create your dream event.
