The Farmhouse KC Events is a brand new wedding venue in Independence, MO, purposely built for private parties and special occasions. The Farmhouse KC Events offers couples a featured wedding day package to complement their big day. Beginning with a 13-hour rental period and an on-site event manager, the venue aims to provide a hassle-free planning process. Countryside Chalet provides a beautiful setting on nearly 10 acres. ​Our names are Craig and Nancy Rogge, and we have lived on and owned this property for over 34 years. We have raised two children here and have used our barns and property all these years to raise horses, cows, chickens, ducks, rabbits, cats, and dogs. We have 30+ years of wonderful memories and stories on our little piece of paradise! ​Our barns were built in 1944 by a previous owner, Walter Kurzweil, who our street is named after and who used the property and barns for a dairy farm. Walter Kurzweil had deep ties to the Raymore community as well as had family connections to the Maxine Dean family (Walter was her Uncle), another prominent Raymore name. ​ If you go back even further, our property was granted to a young man in 1857 as part of the “ScripWarrant Act of 1847.” At that time, public land was gifted through this Act to military personnel for their service in the Mexican-American War.

Our 2,592 square feet of indoor rental space can accommodate up to 175 guests or be paired down to provide a more intimate setting. Vintage View by Sue is a stunning country wedding venue that is located in Appleton City, Missouri. Owned and operated by two women named Susan, this unique venue offers a charming appeal that has been carefully curated over the years. The year 2020 saw the opening of their Lakeview Venue location. This attractive spot is well-suited to clients who seek rustic aesthetics with antique accents.
