Having throughout my life a heart for restoration, I couldn’t help myself when I discovered this property. It had been neglected for years but I could see its potential and its location was perfect. It was tucked just far enough out of the city to feel the serenity of country but not so far out that it was a trip to get there. It had the perfect charm for a wedding venue with its 100 year old house with a wrap around porch surrounded by 100 year old oak trees and the old barn. We designed our venue as an all-inclusive host to your wedding to enable you as a couple and your families to enjoy the celebration while making lasting, precious memories. We guide you through every aspect of planning then execute your plan on the day of. We take charge of making your day everything you dreamt it would be and giving you the ability to focus on the enjoyment of the event rather than its delivery.

Starshine Texas is Houston’s newest event space! We are unique where we have three different locations you can choose to have your event! We offer a large variety of tables, 300 Chiavari chairs, mirror and lantern centerpieces, and the choice of white or black linens (see Amenities & Services for more detail). Your wedding at Palm Royal Villa will begin in one of two get-ready suites, both of which are elegantly furnished to create relaxing atmospheres. One of these suites is painted a pale pink and comes with chic chaise lounges, four vanities, and a floral accent wall. The other has a metallic color scheme, comfortable black leather couches, and a flat screen TV. From here, you will make your way down the grand staircase to the main level for your ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Round and banquet tables, Chiavari chairs with cushions, and floor-length black and white linens. You will also have access to the property ahead of the festivities for a two-hour photo shoot and a one-hour rehearsal. On the momentous occasion, a venue manager will be on-site to make sure that everything runs smoothly. The event staff also offers valet parking and assistance with setup and cleanup. Bisong Art Gallery is a distinctive venue for local events in downtown Houston, Texas. The gallery is available to rent for various private events. The Sunset Coffee Building is located at 1019 Commerce Street, Houston, TX at the intersection of Main Street and Buffalo Bayou next to Allen’s Landing, the “Plymouth Rock” of the City of Houston. Built in 1910, the Sunset Coffee Building was originally a coffee roasting company. In the late 60’s it was home to the Love Street Light Circus, a psychedelic music club featuring many local bands. In 2003, the building was purchased by Buffalo Bayou Partnership (BBP) as part of the organization’s master plan to revitalize Buffalo Bayou. The Sunset Coffee Building offers three rentable spaces for special events. The Rooftop Terrace looks out over the intersection of Buffalo and White Oak Bayous, the original site of the Port of Houston. The Café 1st floor level is an enclosed industrial style space with a balcony overlooking the bayous. Built for the Richard S. Willis family in 1854. Hodge Podge Lodge was originally called "Melrose" in memory of an estate owned by his ancestors in Scotland. The home started as a four room, story and a half house with a detached kitchen. Throughout the house, one can trace the outline of the original footprint by noticing the wide plank flooring in the parlor, formal dining room and library. During the civil war era the massive lawn, with huge oak and pecan trees, quickly became a favorite place for many young people in town for picnics and family gatherings.
