The Barn was originally built in the year 1830 in Oxford, Maine, and used to be a dairy farm and apple orchard owned by the Pratt family. In 2015, it was transformed into an idyllic wedding & special event venue. The 1830 Wedding Barn is a classic, New England gem set back off of Route 26, surrounded by Maine farmland. Inside of the barn you will see impressive hand hewn beams, original wooden floors and walls, and repurposed original antiques like the hanging apple orchard ladders, hay-claw chandelier, and the Hebron Academy milk cooler. The barn’s historic quality creates a unique experience for guests to celebrate any event. Outside of the barn you will see rolling hills, fields stretching to the edge of the woods, trees from the original apple orchard (which we still bake pies from!), and sunsets fading to the western side of the property. We are an a la cart venue, which means we are a blank slate for you to create the wedding of your dreams. we offer ceremony benches a wooden arbor and a good amount of decor and lighting. There are TWO 5 bedroom houses on the property for rent. These houses are perfect for your wedding parties to stay at, and get ready at.

Our venue is a restaurant/brewery that is very open and airy. We have high ceilings and exposed wood beams. Our company was started by 3 Dads. They all live in Scarborough and have children in the Scarborough school system. 1 is the Brewer (Michael), 1 is the Builder (Tim) and one is the Executive Chef (Jeff). We offer the full experience - that includes chairs, tables, linens, glassware, and plates to the basic rental of the venue and somewhere in between, as well as a 10x30 tent space for food, music, cake, gifts, and more.
