The Watson homestead was established in Hiram, Maine in 1785 and is the oldest house in Oxford County. Located on 28 acres of rolling fields, soaring pine forests, stone walls and 1250 ft of Saco River frontage the house has been lovingly restored with an eye to historical integrity . From the upper and lower apple orchards to the 100-year old maple grove adorning the entranceway, this beautifully nostalgic location brings all New England has to offer to one place. Maple Rock Farm is a special place where joy is shared and memories are made. Our wedding season runs from May to October. Located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, the view makes Brewster a popular location for weddings. If you are planning on a smaller, intimate wedding you may choose to rent out the Pinckney Boathouse only. If you are having a larger gathering you have the option of renting the boathouse and the adjacent field. Included in your rental fee with the Pinckney Boathouse are tables and chairs. We are an a la cart venue, which means we are a blank slate for you to create the wedding of your dreams. we offer ceremony benches a wooden arbor and a good amount of decor and lighting. There are TWO 5 bedroom houses on the property for rent. These houses are perfect for your wedding parties to stay at, and get ready at.
