Jerry and the team at Parkway Banquets were very helpful in planning our special day. Communication was mainly through email and phone which worked well to coordinate details. The venue itself was beautiful and spacious, especially for the price. On the day-of, Jerry and staff were attentive to make sure things flowed smoothly. There seems to be some miscommunication around salad selections but overall the food was great, and it was a beautiful, memorable wedding that we really enjoyed.

Words cannot express how wonderful of an experience it was having our wedding at the Riverside Receptions in Geneva, IL. From start to finish Amy, Renee and Marcia were so helpful and supportive. The venue is stunning directly located off the river. We had our wedding on Sunday, July 3, 2022 with a courtyard ceremony and indoor reception with panoramic view of the river. Everything was just perfect. I strongly recommend this venue to anyone looking for something different from the banquet style wedding with a great elegant touch. 5 stars

The Wagner House, located in the historic Wagner Print Building, is a three-story industrial warehouse in downtown Freeport, Illinois. The building was built in 1903 and was one of the first buildings that had electricity in Freeport. Established in 1853 and incorporated on March 9, 1912, the Wagner Building was home to the German-born Wagner Family who, like Freeport, has a long and interesting history. The Wagner House also served as an industrial manufacturing spot for textiles and fashion. For four generations, the business did not change hands, and the present Wagner company pledged to continue their record of quality printing and letterpress and are still in business today. In 2013, The Wagner building was sold to Bill Green to redevelop and re-imagine it, creating a wine bar, business incubator, and beautiful event space.

We got married at the Wagner House in September of 2021. We had a short window, only 3 months to plan, but everything went off without a hitch. The best part was their accommodation of live music instead of a dj. The venue has house sound and lights so that saved us a ton of money. We had six musicians throughout the night and a full band. It was a blast!

We had our wedding at Ludlow Mansion in Monroe WI and it was fantastic. Penny and Greg are great and easy to work with throughout the entire process. Our guests continued to comment throughout the night how the venue was beautiful. Our wedding was in April and they were so accommodating to moving the ceremony to be inside instead of outside the morning of the wedding. I highly recommend going with the three day package as it made everything less stressful. I cannot say enough how happy we were to have our wedding at Ludlow and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for that all in one place for their weddings!

I had the opportunity to capture a wedding at this stunning campus. The ceremony took place at Fisher Memorial Chapel. The chapel was incredibly beautiful, with its unique architecture and serene atmosphere. After the ceremony, the celebration moved to Regents Hall, a charming venue with magnificent windows all around. The natural light streaming through the windows added a touch of magic to the reception. The hall's location on the campus, surrounded by rolling hills, provided the perfect backdrop for capturing unforgettable moments. If you're looking to create a memorable and visually stunning wedding album. I highly recommend considering this campus. We had our wedding reception at the Boone County Museum of History on July 6 and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made in the entire wedding planning process! I grew up going to the museum and we had guests coming up to us all night telling us it was their first time there and how excited they were to see the museum for the first time and how they wanted to come back and spend more time there, and people saying they wanted to spend all night looking through the exhibits. The gallery space was perfect for our 125 guests and there was plenty of space to set up our buffet table, dessert table, and the bar on top of that. There was even enough room for a dance space near the entryway! The museum staff were absolutely the best throughout planning, answering all of our questions right away and helping us to figure out the layout when the time came. We were able to have plenty of personalized touches throughout our decor and our setup, and the staff even allowed us to set up a personalized scavenger hunt throughout the exhibits to find items we'd chosen based on our relationship. The Boone County Museum of History is 100% the best value for a wedding venue you could find in the area and is an absolutely gorgeous and special venue for any of your events, and I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for a wedding venue in the Belvidere-Rockford area!

Starting from the first call we had with Amelia (Sales Manager in charge of their room blocks) last November while Jonathan (Wedding-Catering Sales Manager) was out of the office, we knew The Abbey was going to be an amazing venue to work with. Her vibrant personality could be felt over the phone, and made me feel like we’d known her for years. This rang true through every single phone call and email we had during our wedding planning, all the way through being onsite for our wedding week. Amelia is friendly, approachable, a great listener, accommodating, timely, and hospitable to name just a few. We genuinely felt like she cared about the success of our wedding, and the experience that our guests were going to have. She went as far as working with the reservations team to ensure we got a suite that was previously reserved when it opened up, customizing our wedding block to fit our guests’ needs, helping ensure guest welcome bags were distributed, and welcoming us for our stay with a gift basket note. We truly believe we would have ended up having our wedding elsewhere if I hadn’t tracked her down last November. Similar to Amelia - from the first time we connected with Jonathan to start planning our wedding, we knew we had something unique in our venue team, and felt confident we’d be in great hands throughout the process. Jonathan always responded to our frequent emails in an extremely timely manner – often right away even when we told him to wait until business hours – and it often felt like he was one step ahead of us. He was extremely helpful with providing his industry expertise, guiding our decision making based on previous experience with weddings / large events, and felt confident that he ultimately had our best interests in mind. He helped us incorporate unique components / details to our wedding that our guests are still talking about, and gave us the sweetest welcome package in our suite! (And recommended we book a great secluded suite!) Jonathan somehow was able to accommodate all of our requests in some way or another, and always made us feel like he was so personally invested. We never could have imagined working with someone so responsive, flexible, detail-oriented, and somehow as passionate about our wedding as we were. His organizational and coordination skills shined exceptionally throughout the last 10 months – even the day after the wedding he was helping us move things out of the ballroom and transferring flowers to brunch. He was truly there every step of the way. We have not been able to stop raving about both Jonathan and Amelia to anyone who asks, and can confidently say we don’t have any negative feedback to share about our experience. Our guests have been the same way and have all been positively commenting on their whole experience. Any challenges that came up throughout our process were always met with solutions, a clear path forward, and their team going above and beyond. Jonathan and Amelia were even there to see us out the Monday after our wedding as we departed, and made not only us but also our parents feel like family. Truly everyone from check-in, Greg at valet, and restaurant spa staff, to the catering events teams and management being open to our ever changing requests ( and keeping up with our large group size) – everyone was so accommodating to work with. We cannot say more positive things about the staff, venue, and our experience!

Magical, Enchanting, Perfect. Besides being surround by the love of family and friends, the RiverStone's event space was a major reasons why everyone had a fantastic time. The layout is absolutely perfect. The dinning area, two bar areas, fabulous dance floor and sound system were a huge hit. The outside event space is simply charming, it could not have been better. The whole process was seamless due to the RiverStone's staff. The entire staff did whatever it took to make sure we had a flawless wedding for our son and new daughter in law. Wonderful!

When my (now) husband and I got engaged, soon the reality set in that I was now to become a full time wedding planner. The checklists started getting made with the first one on the list being “find a venue”. We knew we wanted an elegant, upscale, timeless wedding. The first thing that came to mind was an outdoor country club wedding. Family recommended The Concourse so I reached out to Kylie. During our first tour we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The elegant experience that The Concourse provides is unmatched. (My favorite part being the neutral carpet, no one wants bright red or blue carpet in your wedding pictures.) During one of the most stressful times, stressing about weather and rain is something you can easily take off your plate by being indoors. This venue is perfect to have everything in one place from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the reception. Kylie is not only helpful, but goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. She is there every step of the way in the months and days leading up to the big day to make sure your vision becomes a reality. Everything from the set up, to the timing, to helping day-of making sure everything goes according to plan was more than what was even expected. Working with Chapel in the Pines was great. They offered payment plans at an affordable price. The location is a hidden gem.
